Wow, we just ate there with a large group and the meat was rotten and tasted very weird. My friend ordered the chicken and pork yakitori and the meat was so stale it doesn’t taste like chicken. My seafood ramen also has a piece of rotten shrimp. Other dishes are fine but there is no excuse for serving rotten meat.

Best late night sushi! I got in at 1:30 after waiting tables all night and Steve served is immediately. He gave the most incredible service. Will be back for sure! Get the spicy tuna hand roll. Awesome!

This place is just okay for me. The first time I went was with my roommates. My girl roommate and I got off quite late and we were both craving sushi. Luckily this place is open til 3AM on some nights. Smoking is allowed inside the restaurant and I really do not like the idea of smoking inside restaurants. Esp around raw fish? Bleh! The menu was really limited and quite over priced. One time when I got off of work, I ordered udon and salmon avocado roll to go. I was pretty disappointed when I got home because the udon did not come with anything. If I remember correctly the picture shows a tempura udon but mine only came with 1 piece of fish cake. The soup was too hot and I burnt my tongue drinking it and my salmon roll was falling apart. It’s a cool place to hang out at night(I liked their chilled, lychee flavored sake) but other than that, I would choose somewhere else if I was in the mood for Japanese food.

I’ve always went to khan during the night for some drinks and to hang with friends. Recently found out they did lunch specials and I’m glad I went. The rolls are great and the Nagasaki ramen taste wonderful. The owner is really nice and makes sure his customers needs are all met. Me and my sis decided to go here for lunch every Thursday!

If you’re looking for a place to hang out with your friends after work, or trying to have a fun night I think this is the perfect place to come to. The food is great, ranging from fresh sushi to various Japanese food. The interior is unique as well, very oriental style but classy. You can get arrangements of cocktails to shots or even try the sake to go with your sushi. I will definitely come back soon!

I went to Khan after work on a Friday. I was so excited, but it was a huge waste of time. :/ First, they were supposed to be open at 5pm, but despite the signage on the door indicating this to be the case, our entrance into the establishment at 5:30 was met with a very impolite chiding by a worker who told us they were not open. She didn’t seem to want to tell us when they would open either. Second, the interior of the restaurant had an acrid stench. We couldn’t tell if it was coming from some kind of sealant on the wood beams in the dining area or burnt grease, but it was pretty unappetizing. We opted to leave before ordering anything once we looked at the menu and realized we weren’t prisoners of Khan Izakaya. The prices for standard Japanese and Korean fare were pretty high, the place smelled weird, and the waitress wasn’t friendly or helpful. There are too many amazing Korean spots in this neck of the woods to bother with this one.

It was grand opening and Steve was very accommodating. They had some free appetizers. And Sonny the sushi chef gave is extra sashimi. Fun people all around. Great service. Will definitely keep going back!
