Lone Star Roofing

Lone Star Roofing has done work on several of my client’s flat roofs in the past year. So when it came time to replace my flat roof, I called them. Although they were NOT the cheapest, I felt that I could trust Tony, the owner. From start to finish this was a nightmare experience. The roof was supposed to be replaced in 3 – 5 days, but each day Lone Star would not show up to start the job. Each day Tony had a different excuse and he would act like he did not know that his crew was not here working on my roof. When a crew finally came to start the work and they removed my roof top deck, Tony was no where to be found! I found a soft spot in the roof where I had previous leaks and I tried to tell the crew that we had a problem. First of all, I should not have had to supervise the job but Tony was not there to do it. The workers just wanted to roll the new roof right the very large soft area, with out removing the damaged deck below. I had to insist that they pull up the old roofing and when they did the decking was like saw dust because of the past water damage. The wood beams and decking all had to be replaced! If I had not been on site they would not have made the necessary repairs. The crew would work a day and then not show up the next day. When I called Tony to see what was going on, he usually did not answer and when he did it was another excuse. They were also supposed to extend my metal gutters away from one of my roof lines. Instead they installed plastic crinkled downspouts that blow when it gets windy. Tony admitted that they were not what he agreed to install, but he has never come back out to replace them. In addition, the first big rain, my new $ 10,000 roof leaked in several places! I have called and called, and spoken to Tony several times but no one has come out to repair the leaks. I am sick that I spent so much money and this company will not stand behind their work. SO MUCH FOR THE 10 YEAR WARRANTY!!! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!
