The team at Lure is wonderful! My experiences are always amazing, but recently the team went above and beyond to help me out. Conner has always (and will always) do my color. Normally, we do the same red with a small change here or there, but he sat with me for 30 minutes to figure out how we could make subtle changes for this season that would satisfy my (very picky) desires. As always, he was amazing. Of special note this trip was the front desk. When I originally booked my appointment, I also tried to get a cut with Erica, but the timing didn’t work. At the end of my color, Alex noted that there was a delay in Erica’s schedule and that she could take me for a cut if I still needed it. I so appreciated that she remembered that I wanted a cut and successfully coordinated me among Erica’s other clients to help make it happen! Of course, Erica’s cut was fabulous (there’s not a better stylist in Dallas!). Thanks so much to the entire Lure team for making my Saturday morning (and my hair) great!

I have super thick, wavy, damaged, fine, color treated hair with multiple cowlicks… It’s like the holy grail of difficult hair to cut and color. I’ve easily seen 10 stylist since moving back to Dallas and I am happy to say I have finally found a «forever home». Clint Wheeler and Scott Koske do an AMAZING job, taking care to listen to what I’m asking for, then carefully and deliberately deliver the results. This is definitely not a «turn ‘em and burn ‘em» operation… settle in for a multiple hour experience. Fortunately the conversation skills are the best, the salon is lovely, the products are high quality and the booze is free. Overall just a great experience, try ‘em, you won’t be disappointed.

I had a wonderful experience with Marisol and Derek. I was/​am very reluctant to have people touch my hair as trust is hard, but Marisol made me feel comfortable, talked me through styles I was looking at, and did a great job on the cut! She then brought over Derek when I expressed interest in coming back to have my hair colored. He gave me a consultation and I can not wait to come back for my color :)

If I could give them 10 stars I would! I have been coming to Lure Salon for three years now and wouldn’t dare go anywhere else when it comes to my color. Whether you are going for full highlights or all over color, I highly recommend asking for Yvonne when you go. She doesn’t disappoint! Another perk here is the service. They even order take out for you and pick it up if you plan on being here for a long period of time! If not, they always have snacks and refreshments while you are getting pampered. (Mimosas, cucumber water, hot tea, coffee and chocolates powdered almonds) This place is second to none and I highly recommend.

Lure is great and Erin is the BEST! My friend set this appointment up for me while i was in town for a wedding and I’m so glad she did! Erin really took the time to listen to what i wanted for my hair cut and gave me the best blow out ever! I have really thick hair so I really appreciated her not rushing through like most stylists seem to do. Now I just wish I could fly to Dallas for every hair cut. If you live in Dallas and have the privilege to see Erin at Lure, you absolutely should!

Worst experience ever guys are so friendly but ther service is poor i went there for a bride consultation and got out with some ugly orange highlights the atmosphere is awesome but i guess the guy that help didn’t have a clue of what he was doing..

LOVE this salon! Hands down the best service I’ve ever experienced in a salon and I’ve been coloring for almost 30 years! They go above and beyond for clients — clearly intentionally focused on making it an AWESOME guest experience! I am wowed over and over again here and have been here for several years now. And… they also do awesome hair and have organic color options! I’ve been to several of the colorists and stylists and they’re all super talented! Love this place!

I had a wonderful experience at Lure. I made my appointment online for a body wave perm. The process was straightforward, and a couple of days later I received an appointment confirmation with Ericka. When I arrived, the ladies at the front desk were professional and courteous. I met with Ericka, and I told her what look I wanted to achieve. Her recommendations were honest, which I greatly value. The whole process was done in a timely manner. I absolutely love the results! The compliments just keep coming, and I have Ericka to thank. It is expensive, but given the results, definitely worth it.

Lure is wonderful! Front desk staff is excellent — professional, friendly, and prompt. And I cannot stress enough how talented Vanessa is with color. I went to see Vanessa after getting horrible highlights at a different salon, and she not only fixed my hair — but made it look phenomenal. Talked me through the process every step of the way and put my mind at ease. I have fine hair, which looks boring and two-​dimensional when it falls flat. With Vanessa’s magic touch, it is more dynamic and three-​dimensional than ever. I have received so many compliments. Client for life!

Just had a Brazilian Blowout with Sergio, and my friend had ombré done by Conner.
Firstly, everyone who works here is so accommodating and friendly. I never once felt awkward or uncomfortable like I sometimes do at a new place. Sergio was super personable and really thorough with my hair. Conner was adorable and did such a great job on my friends color.
It’s obvious that everyone that works there is happy to be there and that is because they have a great leader.

Expensive but worth it. Sergio for a cut. Yvonne for color. Don’t accept anyone else.
If you are there for lunch get them to order it in.

I have very blonde hair i went to get touched up. Heard this place was awesome go get touched up. I usually get a little lavender in my hair so that it takes away all the yellow undertones. I showed a picture and talked to my colorist about it. He ended up making my hair BRIGHT purple. I don’t even know how to describe it.
Derek was the SWEETEST guy. So nice, and personable and I’m no way discrediting him or his work. It just wasn’t what I wanted and was really upset. The management was good and they offered to fix it and take the color out but I just decided to let it wash away.
I like the environment I just think things didn’t go as planned.
They also gave me some money off the service which was nice!

Amazing color style and service, and Keratase products. Derrick does my color. He is very nice, let’s me sleep after night shifts, listens to what I want without arguing or «doing what’s best» which I feel like is stylist code for I’m gonna do what I want. He nailed the perfect the blonde on a natural brunette without brassy tones, and since has added great low lights. Front desk is super nice and professional, loved it so much got my haircut and took off 5 inches which was a HUGE plunge, came out great! Thanks Erin!

2^nd time walking out with a great haircut with Philippe. Finally found the best hair stylist in the metroplex. I loved the head massages with the shampooing. The price was very reasonable too.

LOVE lure salon! Great environment and I feel so satisfied with my cut and color! Derrick did my color and he honestly is one of the most fun people I’ve ever met! Even if I walked out with something I didn’t want, I would still probably like him. Of course this wasn’t the case; the color was rich and sophisticated while still looking very young and youthful and bouncy.

Came here for a massage only! The room for them seems like it was a converted closet and is pretty tiny. It’s also located right across from everything else, so you can pretty much here everything in the room while you’re trying to relax. The massage therapist was wonderful, no complaints about her. Parking was a nightmare. I was told they do complimentary valet, but when asked the guy to park my car, he said there weren’t any spots. I drove around in circles on the 1 way streets for quite a while before I found a spot down the street. I probably won’t be back, just because traffic was a nightmare and the massage room was not conducive to relaxing.

I went to Lure Salon today based on the great reviews here on Unilocal and I made the right choice! I’m so happy — my hair is GORGEOUS!
I was a little nervous going from long to short hair with a stylist I didn’t know, but PHILLIPPE DID AN AMAZING JOB!!! Very pretty cut that is well blended (which is KEY).
All too often I see people with choppy, badly cut short hair. But not here and especially not with Phillippe. He has tons of experience and it really shows in his work! He takes his time and does it right. What more can u ask for?
As an added bonus, the salon is very nice and modern. They offer beverages including wine which is a good touch. I felt comfortable and really relaxed.

Lure Salon is by far one of my favorite salons and I highly recommend using Scott for your hair color and Mariesol for styling :) The front desk is very pleasant and the vibe is laid back and relaxing. Come and be pampered with your hair and even enjoy a mimosa :)

I’m new to the area so there is always the anxiety associated with finding a new salon. With all the potential pitfalls you might think there is walking into a new salon located on a main street in Uptown might bring, I walked away with a really good cut from Clint who interpreted the description I gave him for the haircut I was looking for without any problem or difficulty. More than that it really is a cool space with a good staff that are attentive and accommodating, just enough to keep the vibe cool.
Why is the fifth star absent? Parking is confusing. As far as the salon, staff, and services go, well, see the four stars above?
