I came back here with a friend that loves Gelatos. I told him about the Belgium Chocolate I got so he decided to get the same thing to go. It seems as if not every employee at Zaguan’s know how to make the gelato. My friend’s sundae which was the exact same one I got the first time had no chunks of chocolate in it and it wasn’t mixed well with the chocolate syrupl. It tasted like soft serve from McDonalds for $ 6… I’m not sure if I’ll ever come back now after feeling so embarrassed for recommending my friend there.

Great gelato inside zaguan’s. They combo some desserts too like gelato and crepes! Be sure to try some whenever you stop by for brunch and such. Definitely a neat place to stop for dessert as well. It is a little bit pricey but not too unexpected for gelato. They serve it separately and in the form of sundaes of you want something larger or fancier. The sundae itself is a tiny work of art with fruit/chocolate garnishes and a little M for Morelli’s. As for the gelato itself, it’s very creamy though I think it only comes in two flavors: vanilla and dulce de leche. They use syrups to give the gelato different flavors in the sundae and it turned out pretty well. I tried the strawberry sundae which had real bits of strawberry in it(and you can tell it was pretty fresh since it froze over quickly). Overall, it’s pretty neat for a gelato place, but don’t expect the biggest selection since it’s located inside a café. Instead, look to combo the café’s desserts with gelato.
