Nothing is better than a Pom frozen treat, from Red Mango, unless you get the Raspberry Cheesecake. Yummi! Service is always excellent. So you put these two together with prime purple watching seating and summer I’m there!

I am a huge fro yo fan — of both traditional and tart flavors — but am sorry to say that Red Mango is my least favorite of all the Dallas-area spots. I’ve given it a couple of chances, and each time, the taste seems off — like it’s a bad batch from Pinkberry, with both the taste and texture unappealing. It’s too icy-tasting and not creamy enough, and the flavoring just isn’t great. To top it off, parking at this location can be challenging.

Not good. Got vanilla and it was awful. I just threw it away. Guy behind the counter was nice though.

I tried Red Mango back in 2008 in Orem, UT when I was doing some consulting work there. It was a nice treat and the new thing in the health-minded state. I decide to go the other night to one in Dallas. I had a pom smoothie, and it was so sugery – too sweet. Next time, I will ask them to reduce added suger. It competes against Pinkberry but not yummilicous(see my review on yummilicious)

Red Mango is healthy. This is good. Red Mango’s yogurt isn’t particularly tasty. This is not good. Perhaps the stevia is of a lesser quality? Somewhat bitter off-flavors pervade most of the offerings. Pumpkin isn’t creamy nor spicy. Citrus flavors can be somewhat astringent. Needs work. Red Mango only offers about half the flavors of Pinkberry, which is still half of Yogurtland’s cornucopia. Also not good. I really want to see Red Mango succeed, but they need to tweak the recipes and simplify the ordering process before they can trade blows with the other chains. Still, kudos for keeping sweet indulgences as healthy as possible.

So… I thought DIY yogurt was the way to go, but I think ounce per ounce, Red Mango just might be a better value. Their portions are HUGE… H-U-G-E! The service is quick and smiles all around. Bumpin’ bumpin’ music is a plus. Also, they’ve got a new Key Lime flavor that is just like the real thing. The guy behind the counter suggested we try it with some graham cracker. Spot on!!! AND! They’re open till 11pm!!! So I can get my late night yogurt craving fix in time for shut eye. SOGLAD I live a block away!

So honestly between Red Mango, Orange cup and yumilious i’m not really sure which one i like better. I like them all for different reasons. I love this Red Mango because everyone who works there is super friendly. The first time i went there the guy behind the counter told me all about the different flavors and had me try all of them. I ended up getting a small cup with half original half key lime(super yummy flavor) with graham cracker, mango, and chocolate chips. The mango was so good and fresh. Even if you’re a Orange Cup fan i really recommend trying Red Mango, its a nice little change.

It is now 5:43pm Aug. 4th, 2010 Location: 4123 Cedar Springs Road #107, Dallas, TX75219 Location Contact #:(214) 520‑6484 Manager’s Name: She Stated her name is Sam Young(Samantha Young) Workers Name: Josh Flanagan Just an hour before, I went to your location on Cedar Springs to meet with a friend for some yogurt. I ordered the Pomegranate yogurt with Mandarin oranges and Honey. I sat(inside the Store) and waited while enjoying my yogurt… that was until I found a fly in my yogurt mixed in with the oranges! I waited for a Customer at the counter to leave to not cause a scene, and I stated to both the worker and the manager(I didn’t know this at the time,) the situation at hand. She looked at me like I slapped her in the face and replied…” Would you like another?” HELLNAW Idiot! She didn’t apologize, ask me if I wanted a refund, or even try to show any type of empathy WHATSOEVER! I was so mad I left after discarding the yogurt in the trash. I later came back to ask Josh to speak to him Manager. When he walked back to the front with her, I was even more livid knowing she was the person with the lack of common since or customer service skills! And to add insult to injury, she had the audacity to defend herself after I told her I needed Josh and her full names to report to the corporate office. I WILLNEVERRETURN… I will also be letting my friends know to do the same!

Extremely delicious… yes it is a little more expensive than Pink Berry, but Pink Berry uses a powder mix for their yogurt and Red Mango is all natural. The ingredients are fresher, its healthier and tastes better. I don’t understand why that would be bad. Some of these reviews are silly to me. One girl said she didn’t like it because it was tart and tangy. Hello! Its frozen yogurt! If you want ice cream, go somewhere else weirdo.

I had to update my old review. Management at this location has changed and the past few times I’ve been, I’ve gotten great service and delicious fro-yo at a reasonable price. Red Mango is now my go-to when I need my fix of sweet, tangy, probiotic frozen goodness!

The yogurt is really good. I had the plain with unlimited toppings for a dollar. I squeaked outta there paying 5 something, which was about the cost of my light lunch. I’d probably rather go eat at Paciugo in the West Village for that price. Oh they have tiny mochhi balls for a topping, which I thought was pretty damn cool.

heart, heart, heart this place! One of the main reasons is their yogurt is sweetened with natural cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup like some other yogurt places. It is pretty low calorie as well. It is also not expensive. The per ounce seems like it is not a bad deal until you have filled your little cup with a couple of dollops of each flavor and several complementary toppings then $ 7 later you wonder how so few dollops weight so much?!? What to order: The cocoa with chocolate syrup and sliced almonds is fantastic. Their service is great as well. I am so excited that there will soon be a location in Plano at the Shops at Legacy; I know where I will be on Saturday afternoons this summer!

I’m not a frozen yogurt connoisseur by any means, but I really like Red Mango. I’ve had Red Mango twice: the first time in NYC and then once at this location. Both times, I really liked it. The yogurt is really creamy and tangy. Tangy in the way that yogurt is. unlike really sweet ice cream(which I like too!) The prices for yogurt alone seem reasonable, although toppings are $ 1 each. which I think is a little steep. Yogurt flavors are: original, pomegranate, mango, and cocoa. I’ve only tried the original and get the graham cracker crust topping. Yum! I also like how they tell you on the menu how many calories are in each serving size.

I stopped by Red Mango last night and I wasn’t too impressed but not too disappointed either. The place was bright, clean and modern. The girl behind the counter was pleasant, informative and fast. The fro-yo however was just A-OK. I agree with Jessica that their selection of toppings was limited but if you pay a dollar you can get all the toppings you want instead of .50 per topping. I shared a large pomegranate and tangomonium with pineapple chunks, fruity pebbles, granola and mochi. Our total was a little over $ 6 which was a con considering we have been going to yogurtland for the past 3 days and eating our faces off for less than $ 4. The fro-yo itself is a little tart and very soft. We ate outside and it was quite windy and chilly but my yogurt was already melting. The parking in this complex is kind of limited as well. I wouldn’t go out of my way to try Red Mango but if your in need of a fro-yo fix and aren’t picky this would be a safe place to stop by and check out.

Service was friendly and informative and offered us samples to taste before deciding on flavors. We picked the cocoa flavor with fresh strawberries and blueberries as toppings. It was delish! The pomegranate flavor was too tart for my taste but I will be coming back to try the ice tea flavors on a hot day.

This was the second stop on the Yogurt Tour 2009. The mission: my BF and I would drive to Pinkberry where I would get my yogurt and then shoot up the the tollway, exit Wycliff and hit up Red Mango where he would get his. Taste comparisons would ensue. The place: Red Mango The challenger: BF The verdict: not good. Yes, yes, they do a good job of telling you how healthy Red Mango is and even providing nutritional info on the toppings. But the flavors were not my favorite. Pomegranate and Tangemonuim were both very tart and tangy. I give them props for trying a pumpkin spice flavor, but I couldn’t eat a cup of that. Not a huge assortment of toppings. BF was highly disappointed that they only had«Newman O’s(organic Oreos) instead of Oreos. Yes, we know, Red Mango is healthy and they use natural enzymes, blah blah… we wanted yumminess over healthiness. BF sulked the whole way home that he hadn’t gotten Pinkberry. We probably will not be back.

Red Mango is now open in the massive ilume complex. Curiosity was more my deciding factor after hearing the rah rahs about Red Mango. There really is not much to the menu. You have 4 flavors of frozen yogurt to choose from(5 if you include the seasonal option). A variety of toppings to choose from(extra $ of course) to add some sort of kick to things. They also serve teas and blended versions of the yogurts but, again, not much variety to select from. The counter help was very friendly and offered samples galore. Good service is key so it was nice to see even with an empty store, the staff was still engaging. I had the original with chocolate toppings and dried cranberries. It was good but nothing WOW. With a small menu offering, I can only hope Red Mango pulls something else out of its sleeve. That is what can set it apart from the competitors who have already driven the frozen yogurt biz to its peak form.
