Everything was great! From the greeting, to the appetizer, to the steak, the sides and dessert. Appetizer were scallops which were the best ever, no grit! Tasty Filet Mignon. The sides are large so share! Every dessert was made in house and fantastic. Huge slice of Carrot cake, best ever! They treated us as if we were the only customers in the restaurant. A great meal that gives a great feeling, even the next day. The Asparagus was grilled and delicious. Even the bacon on the potato as a topping was carefully hard carved, very high quality bacon. They made every tiny detail of the food was take care of in a very high standard.

Came here back in November with my BF who had already been there before a couple of times. Our waiter was cool and had been on Masterchef before and so he knew a lot about the restaurant industry and food so that was fun to learn about. Well first thing is they bring out this huge round mass of sourdough bread that is nice and warm and goes great with butter! I basically was half way full just on that! He ordered the filet mignon and I got the scallops, which filled me up pretty quickly. They were ok. We shared a side of Mac and cheese which was a huge portion and we totally forgot to ask him to box it up, though he should have asked us anyway. Then tried the fancy version of Chili’s molten lava chocolate cake with ice cream which was soooooooooo good! I would definitely go back here! The restaurant itself is very posh and elegant and there were a lot of couples there who seemed to be enjoying themselves too. Enjoy! :)

Wow! I am extremely impressed with not only our meal, but the service and ambience as well. Our server Neil was amazing. He perfectly timed our meal and had amazing customer service. You can tell he enjoys his job as well as enjoys talking to people. Our only downfall was the price, but it was well worth it. We will be coming back for the next special occasion! Make sure you book ahead! They look like they fill up fast.

Delicious and seasoned perfectly… I’ve been to other steakhouses but Morton’s has been one of my favorite places to go when I want a high quality steak and service.

I enjoyed an outstanding meal at Morton’s in Dallas on November 9. My guest and I were seated promptly in a dining room that had excellent décor — it was modern, comfortable, and tasteful. Unlike Bob’s and III Forks, the dining room at Morton’s is relatively small, quiet, and intimate. Perfect for an up-scale experience. Our waitress Velena epitomized the poise and professionalism that make dining at a high end steakhouse a special experience. My guest had never dined at Morton’s before, so Velena took the time to explain the menu and the house specialties. She did this in a warm, personalized manner that is so hard to find these days. Our cocktails and appetizers were FLAWLESS! I’m picky about my drinks and was pleased that my drink was made exactly as I requested. We split an order of Shrimp Alexander and highly recommend it. The right balance of seasoning and the great flavor of fresh jumbo shrimp The bread was also very good — crispy crust, warm and moist center, perfect balance of flavors and textures. The steaks were excellent — the flavors, qualities, and presentation all met my expectations. I had the Cajun Ribeye and it came out perfect. Medium rare, excellent balance of cajun seasonings without being too spicy. We split an order of Brussels Sprouts, which were just as amazing as every other dish we experienced that evening. Many thanks also to Brian, whom I believe was the manager, for stopping by and having a nice chat with us. All in all, Morton’s is a very high end experience. Dinner and drinks for two with a good tip scared the daylights out of $ 300 — not exactly something I can do on a frequent basis. However, for a special treat a few times a year, it’s an excellent choice in a steak house. And although the food was amazing, it was the SERVICE and ATMOSPHERE that absolutely made the evening worth the price. Thank you again to Velena, Brian, and the rest of the Morton’s staff for creating a fantastic dining experience!

The service here is absolutely outstanding, but my boyfriend and I were completely underwhelmed by the quality of the filet. It was the same quality and taste you would get at Outback Steakhouse. I don’t get it. The mashed potatoes tasted bland. They tasted similar to instant potatoes. The shrimp and scallops that came with the steak were some of the best I’ve ever had though. I guess the best word to describe my experience is confused.

This was a terrible experience. It is all fake glamour and no substance. The water was chlorinated. The steak was tasteless. They were large but not nearly as good as the steaks we had the night before. It was exceptionally disappointing that were were no grass fed options. The salad was appalling for the money. The oysters were not cleaned properly and served on a ridiculous bed of ice. I had the crab legs. They served two of them for $ 60, which was a little outrageous. The only good thing about eating here was the Rioja and the Hagen Daz ice cream. Please do not go here. It is just not worth it on any level.

Disclaimer: if I were to rate just the server this would be a 2 star… Going in my expectations were high, after all it is Morton’s! Sommelier was super helpful and friendly. Server on the other hand was just okay… It felt like he didn’t want to give us the five star attention because he felt we weren’t going to spend or tip enough… Rushed through our service with little attention. Told us he was bringing bread but bread wasn’t delivered until we asked him for it when our dinner was served. Then at the end of dinner, server spilled my glass of wine and glass actually broke and ended up all over my scarf on the empty chair and table. Never apologized but did bring me a small amount of wine in another glass. Overall food was good but believe I’ll skip Morton’s when given another fine dining choice.

The best steak I have ever had! The Cajun Ribeye is fantastic! It’s a 16 oz steak, so it can be shared. This is a great place for date night or gatherings. The ambiance is really nice and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu.

What a timeless tradition! Excepts, honors, and appreciates reservations just like a fine place should! Maître d’ was friendly, got us right to our table were a very well-trained server took great care of us. Cocktails were perfect, wine selection was great and the food was awesome. I know this sounds like a generic review but great is great and these guys do it well. We had steaks and fish and all entrées were excellent. While this place is more traditional/old-school I think the thing that surprised me most was the reasonable prices! It was refreshing not to get overcharged because some designer Chef has a signature entrée!

Morton’s gets 5 stars AGAIN. Our experience went as follows: I went with my friend to dinner here last night. We made a same day reservation on open table and I asked for David Mcquay because he was amazing the last time that we dined here. When we arrived the restaurant was not packed but there was a good amount of other people dining out. The hostess was friendly and found our reservation and asked us to please wait a minute. During that time a manager came over and asked if the hostess was taking care of us and I said«yes». That was nice of him, I found out that his name is Jim. We were sat in a minute. David walked over and I noticed he was training someone. Awe, so my first thought is we were not going to get his undivided attention. But I was wrong, we got the attention of the both of them throughout our visit. David did take our drink orders because we wanted the same wine we had the last time. It had been 2 or 3 months since we were here but he did remember. :) Then the trainee came back to take our order. First, we ordered scallops as our appetizer and for our main entrée we ordered filet mignons and a baked potato to share because they are HUGE! About a minute later David came back to suggest that we could order the mixed grill and instead of 3 scallops as an appetizer we could get 4 plus 3 grilled shrimps each and save a little money. So we said«yes» to that.(Why wouldn’t we) That was nice of him to suggest that and he also said if we wanted our scallops as an appetizer he could make that happen but we decided to have it at once. The order came out promptly, hot and delicious. We basically cleaned our plates. Not that we were not already full we decided to have crème brûlée as our desert and that was delicious too. Before we closed out our tab for the evening David came to the table to ask if I wanted to join the Landry’s select club which can be used at other Landry’s restaurants. For only $ 25.00 it seemed like a good bargain to me. I will start receiving discounts and get my money back in no time so it basically paid for itself. I am glad I did that because I noticed a lot of the restaurants are places in Dallas I want to try and some look familiar because they are located in Vegas. My favorite place. I win! Thank you to Morton’s Steakhouse and thank you Dave for another amazing dining experience. I will definitely be back and if you all have not been to Morton’s than you should go and check it out ASAP.

Only 5 because they don’t offer 6. An exceptional wine list, meticulous service, and food beyond perfection gives you a small glimpse into the wondrous evening I and my colleagues had at this location! We began with oysters and the Ahi tuna tower, where we devoured the first round and then the second of oysters. The Ahi was beautifully presented and tasted marvelous, with freshness beyond reproach! The lobster bisque took me back to San Francisco, as my colleagues all but licked the bowl it was so good. This all with a bottle of wine, which was handled expertly by our waiter, ensuring each of us had a generous glass as we polished off the first of two bottles. Next came the steaks… For you filet lovers, we actually had plates where they did not require a knife. For the rib-eye aficionados, this should be a must on your eats list! They take a beautiful piece of beef with all the marbling you dream about, and then marinate it for two days in a Cajun oil, which is flavorful not spicy hot! This is a rib-eye done right! The two potato sides we shared provided a scrumptious side to our steaks, the potatoes au gratin a cheese covered deliciousness, and the horseradish potatoes a delectable sensory experience where you just can’t stop! The mushrooms and spinach were the perfect consistency of salty and buttery. The desserts are worth the price of admission! We all enjoyed different items each a diabetic nightmare, and a sweets connoisseur’s dream! From the crème brûlée, where the top cracked perfectly into a rich custard, or a fruit tart that brought a cornucopia of fruit to life, to the enormous and unbelievable chocolate cake… They must have thought we were feeding an army. Our service was beyond reproach. Dave M. regularly checked on us, and engaged us with lite banter between rounds. He was clearly knowledgeable, and provided rich context to the options. Lastly I was called the next day by the manager, who left a voicemail to check on our experience… No doubt we enjoyed.

Wow! Absolutely amazing! As someone who has gone to Gordon Ramsay’s steak houses in Vegas; this place is comparable in every good way. The steaks were on point and very flavorful. It was beautifully cooked and perfectly marbleized. The ambience was very nice, our server Justin was super sweet, helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. My only disappointment was the lack of porterhouse, but the manager made it up ten fold with a couple of alcoholic beverages and a complimentary dessert. All in all my experience was top notch! A must go to here in the DfDub! Thanks Morton’s for making mine and my husband’s night very special!

I flew to Dallas from LA, just to take some of my family to Morton’s. While my family has never had the pleasure to dine at a Morton’s until Friday, 7/10, I have. I just want to say that this Morton’s didn’t let me down! Our waiter Sebastian was incredibly hospitable and engaging. He never missed a step. He was unbelievably on the ball right on down to ensuring my champagne glass was never empty! The food was five star and definitely consistent with what you expect when dinning at Morton’s. Everyone at my table had something different but everyone’s while full was left wanting more. I will be the first to admit but even left over the morning after are too fab!!! Brian Perry was very gracious to call the next day to thank us for choosing Morton’s. If this isn’t service at the highest levels, then I don’t know what is. Morton’s is where you go when you want the best of everything in a dining experience! This location and staff ROCKIT!

As someone who frequents Morton’s often for dinner I am impressed at this location. It moved from downtown a few years back to its new location. The building décor has that old world sophistication like most Morton’s but with a new trendy twist. The wait staff and bartender(Beau) were so friendly and genuinely helpful. We ordered the tenderloin sandwich for lunch with parmesean truffle fries. Delicious and melts in your mouth! Wish I had a picture but I was busy ;) For dessert we ordered the Moulton Lava Cake. Amazing and always keeps me coming back for more! Seriously an awesome location!

We only ate from the Happy Hour menu, but the drinks and bar bites were exquisite. My Manhattan was strong, but the whiskey was such high quality that my palette was happy, and I got tipsy quickly(wasn’t driving, so it’s ok) The tuna taco appetizers consist of fresh, sushi grade Ahi tuna. It comes with a side of fresh seaweed, avocado, cucumber, and pico de gallo. The taco shells were fried perfectly crisp without he slightest bit of grease. We ended up ordering the petite filet mignon trio twice. I suggest that you order it rare if you actually want medium rare. The first time we asked for medium rare, but were given meat that was medium. We asked for rare meat the second time, and the order was perfectly medium rare. Lol! I’m not complaining because the food was delicious. Make sure and say YES when offered bread & butter. This hot bread is covered in onion bits and poppy seeds! Of course, waitstaff was attentive, friendly, and polite. We’ll be back for dinner.

Definitely a top notch date night kind of place. Top notch in the sense that it’s fairly pricey but the steaks are good quality. Love the center cut filet mignon. My preference is always medium well but I’d go with medium here as they will likely burn it if you order it anywhere near well done. I usually only go for the steak but there are so many more protein options on the menu so next time I’ll branch out and try something else. It’s a romantic, dimly lit atmosphere and good for some wine and conversation. Good veggies and sides. Very upscale overall and attentive service.
