I recently moved upstairs to the Miro Building and cannot be more ecstatic to have this Ruth’s Chris downstairs. The ambiance is warm and inviting and I cannot feel more at home with the amazing staff. The first weekend I moved in, I was there 3 days in a row, they have an amazing Happy Hour and every dish on the menu is delicious. Most importantly, however, is the friendly and entertaining staff; from Rickey, to James, Shawn and the ever sweet Medi to the Alex the manager who is always friendly, gracious and warm. I am glad I found my home away from home for a fun evening out that never fails to deliver a good time! Kudos again to the whole team!!!

My husband and I went for an early Father’s Day date night this evening. We had the lobster bisque for starters which had an odd sourness to it. Disappointing! For our entrees I had the petite fillet, the Mr had the 12 oz ribeye, and we shared lobster Mac and cheese. The lobster mac and cheese is amazing! It’s a must get! You won’t regret it. The steak was phenomenal too. I want to give 5 stars but since we couldn’t even eat the bisque I have to give 4 stars. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was surprisingly casual. The only parking option seems to be the $ 5 valet. I’ll highly recommend.

Great food and service as expected with Ruth Chris. The steak was cooked perfectly and David was a super detailed server. We will be back soon.

First time guest! It was perfect from the time we walked. 5 stars and kudos to Alex manager. James our bartender and Medi! Food was great but the Customer service was impeccable. It’s hard to find them both at a restaurant. . Kudos to Alex, James, Ricky and Medi.

I’ve been to a ton of premium steak houses and Ruth’s Chris definitely lives up to its reputation. Greg was an excellent server and really took care of our party. The seafood tower, lobster Mac and cheese, and petite filet was amazing!!!

My friends and I went to this Ruth’s Chris location on a Thursday night. There were 3 of us and we did not have a reservation. Luckily the restaurant was practically empty(not sure if that is the usual week day crowd) so we were able to get a booth no problem. I had the crab cakes to start with and I loved them… they are all crab and no breading which is the way I like them. For my entrée I had the filet mignon and shrimp. I asked for the filet to be medium-medium well but the steak turned out to be well done. It was still very juicy so I didn’t have a problem with it. Overall I do not have any complaints about the food or the service and I would be happy to go back to this location. I hope they consider better signage so that more people can find them!

This was my first visit to Ruth’s Chris, and I had already read lots of great reviews. The 12 oz Ribeye was delicious and so was the Lobster Mac n Cheese. I also tried the Crab Stuffed mushrooms, and the creamed spinach. Everything was cooked to perfection. I had a party of 16, and we were seated in the Wine Room. The only problem was that it took nearly an hour and a half to for our waiter to give us our checks, after we requested them. A lot of the guests at my table grew restless and impatient, as we were ready to leave. Everything else seemed organized and in place.

«This is in the bottom of a parking garage!» My friend erroneously exclaimed as he was trying to figure out which building Ruths Chris new uptown location was in. It’s apartments. I said. «The Miro». A sign said. ” I dont even recognize this area«my friend who has lived in Dallas since the 70s said in disbelief. This area used to be nothing. Well I’ve been in Dallas since 06 and even I felt transported to a new fangled highrise metal, big lights and windows kind of euphoria which felt kind of plastic, empty and unfinished if clean and sparkly with a sort of Dallas suburbia goes blade runner feel. Two big wood red doors with oversized metal wrought handles looked grand, 1970s San Francisco meets Spanish villa, it lovingly clashed with the sterile newness abound even tho it felt plastic as well like a prop on one of those 1970’s variety shows like Shields and Yarnell or a hyper masculinised version of the Regal Begal. Swaths of business men in crisp blue tones some without jacket and tie walked in fraternity unison in an after dinner satisfied silence on the streets of concrete heaven. Inside we were greeted warmly by a friendly host who promptly asked our seating preference. It was dimly lit, new and cozy and not very busy on a Tuesday which afforded us a big curved booth and a nice volume level to catch up. Our waiter was quick, smart, handsome, personable and French. Its always a nice surprise when you get exceptional customer service, which we received. The back up waiter, who introduced herself only had to close the banquet room door for us, which was loud and bright from being broken down. We had a coupon mailer Skip had gotten in the mail for $ 25 off. I happily order a glass of Château St. Jean Pinot Noir $ 12 as Skip started to peruse the menu with a wagering gambling face ready to barter, as we decided to share an entrée. The menu looked good standard and pricey just like a Texas steakhouse should. I didn’t really look at much else besides the mouth watering cowboy bone in rib eye. I was momentarily content with wine and the ability to relax after a long day of work. I closed my menu. «I’ll let you pick everything.» I said with some chic calculated abandon. «Really?» He was amazed and free. But it worked I got the steak I wanted, the 21oz bone in cowboy ribeye $ 56. I didn’t even care about the sides, which were perfectly rich and predictable. The chopped salad had a very creamy dressing and house made crispy fried onion straws. I only had a few bites even though it tasted great it was a little cloying and more like cream sauce than a vegetable dish. The steak arrived soon after which they split for us tableside, cutting off the bone. «Careful the plates are 500 degrees to keep the steak hot during your entire meal, so hot — it will take off your fingerprint.» The young woman advised. Steak was an incredible cut and well prepared. No sauces were offered, sparing us a sales pitch, and letting us just enjoy the meat. The au gratin potatoes were again over rich for me, although perfectly prepared I just thought the cheese and butter sauce was in excess, but its what you expect from a Texas steakhouse. It was a perfect dining experience, partly due to the fact that the place is new and a little off the radar. «Nobody really knows we are here.» Someone said. I guess that’s why we got the mailer. We checked out the bar lounge area which was a bit more trendier feel than the main dining room but it still felt just a little fancy. Some steakhouses have this sterile model home feel, which I actually kind of like. The lounge feels a little more vibrant with a TV, but also private booths. «Whens happy hour?» I asked. «Everyday from 430 – 630 except Saturday.». Which is a perfect excuse to order one of those cowboy ribeyes to share over cheap wine. Ruths Chris is a chain but this steak holds weight — tender with natural taste.(That could also apply to our adorable and cute French waiter too, Sylvain, who was also sweet, friendly and efficient.) + Steaks are solid -/+ Ambiance is upper middle class suburbia + Service is friendly -/+ Place feels kind of empty since the place is new and kind of hidden in uptown A shared steak entrée, salad, a side and two cocktails each is around $ 140. Valet is $ 5, and the kiosk is located inside the parking garage entry way, which is down a bit from the main entrance.

Decided to switch over to the bar after a wonderful Unilocal event and Rickey really took care of us and encouraged us to get TURNT on Tuesday!(I’m feeling it today). Rickey and the whole bar staff were beyond welcoming, friendly, and generous in their service. We had a nice chat w/the manager as well to talk about possibilities of my husband having his Dallas Association of Young Lawyers happy hours hosted here and Alex was not only really helpful but also seems to be very accommodating for these types of events. We only had a few drinks at the bar, but we did sample some amazing food over at the Unilocal event which I wrote a separate review about. I did take a look at the HH menu and it looks pretty legit. If the food I tasted at the Unilocal event was any indication to their entrees and appetizers, then I’m FORSURE coming back for dinner, HH, or even just drinks with Rickey! :)

Definitely a great place to go for dinner. I wouldn’t go here nightly due to the costs, but it is worth every penny you pay. I took a date here and we used the valet. The valet was great and only $ 5. You can text them to pull your car around. The staff is great and the food is amazing. You don’t have just one staff member helping you. The sides are made to share and come on separate dishes. If you do the Ruth’s Classics you get the salad, main dish, side and then a dessert. The management staff checked on us twice and the staff was very personable. They ask your name and use it. Lastly, make reservations. We saw people turned away because they were fully booked after 6.

We order two filets neither of which was cooked remotely close to the proper temperature. One was way over cooked and the other was way under cooked. For a steakhouse, this is disappointing. The service was fantastic though.

My husband and I enjoyed a fantastic evening and delicious dinner(first, but not last, time to a Ruth’s Chris)! The lump crab appetizer with avocado and mango was incredible! As were the filet, stuffed chicken, fingerling potatoes and creamed spinach. Service was impeccable and I love what they did with the décor. We are very happy to have such a great dining addition to the neighborhood!

I ate here for my anniversary a few weeks ago! Our service was great and the waiter was really friendly. All of the food was perfect… Couldn’t have asked for a better steak, potatoes, or vegetables!

The service was very slow. There were also some mishaps with the food, my salad came out missing two ingredients and my sister ordered her steak medium and it was rare in the middle. My steak was supposed to be medium and it came out medium well. I would have told the waiter if he ever came back to check on us. I also made this reservation weeks ahead of time for my sisters birthday and they called me the day of to confirm and I mentioned it again when they asked. Despite this, they asked again when they seated us and then proceeded to put the«decorations» on the table after we were sitting there. Then they didn’t even do a special bday dessert. I’ve been to this new location twice and I must say I’m not impressed with the service and would expect more from Ruth Chris. *I’ve been back to the Happy Hour since my last visit and it’s been pretty good. Nice redemption Ruth Chris!

The food was amazing! However, the service was AWFUL. It took the waiter 20 minutes to take our order. In the middle of ordering, he walks off to help another waiter and is gone for 5 minutes. It was more like we were the waiters and he was the guest. He didn’t ask us to cut into our steaks, tell us about the specials, he got our drinks mixed up… When he brought us a bottle of wine, he immediately tried to close it back up, when we wanted it to breath… Not that this is a huge deal, but I think any knowledgeable waiter would know better than that. It was just a mess. I’m just glad I was in good company & the atmosphere was amazing. They need to work on their service.

Everything was exceptional… However, the valet was a little confusing, saying a $ 5 fee is paid to the parking garage, and they only get tips after the fee… Implying you need to pay them more than $ 5, so they will be paid tipping fees. Otherwise everything else was good. The hostesses, waitor, ambiance, and food. I really enjoyed everything. The drinks, salad, entre, and dessert was great!

Went there on Christmas night. The food and service was spot on. A very well put together wine selection as well as the standard Ruths Chris fare that is reflective of the high price. Absolutely delicious.
