This has got to be the worst Pei Wei… One time I stopped there a little later at night to get some food to go. They didn’t have their hours posted outside so I walked in to order food. When I walked up and said that I’d like to place an order to go. The guy working the register was l blatantly rude and annoyed… He rolled his eyes and said that they closed at 9:30… It was 9:20. If your gunna be d*ck about that then you should at least post your hours outside your restaurant. I tried to go a couple more times but they never start making my call in order until I get there… I don’t see the point of calling in my order if they are only going to start making it when I get there and have to wait 15+ minutes. Anyway I wouldn’t recommend going here. There is A LOT better Chinese food in uptown.

WARNING: DONOTEATHERE!!! I had a horrible experience and decided to give them another shot with an open mind– I’m a pretty patient person. I ordered 2 entrees and 2 sides for pick up. The woman on the phone was so rude and it was clearly very loud/busy in the restaurant. I got my food(after waiting an additional 15 minutes AFTER the pick up time) got home and realized they gave me the complete wrong order with food I’m allergic to and cannot eat. I called and explained the situation and the girl was rude once again but said I would get 2 free entrees my next visit. I told her I appreciated it and went to bed without dinner after a long day. Two weeks later I placed a to-go order again and explained that I should have 2 free entrees. The employee said they can’t tell me over the phone if I do or not, that they will let me know when I arrive. Which is SO odd. I placed the order and when I got there, they said there is no record of the 2 free entrees. It’s disappointing that a restaurant does not keep their word when they guarantee something to a customer. I was annoyed but paid and took my order home. When I got home, ITWASTHEWRONGORDERAGAIN! Food, again, that I can’t eat. One of the items was a sushi roll(which I’ve never had there) and I tried to eat it… it was disgusting! Tasted pre packed and not fresh at all. You get better quality at the grocery store. I rarely rant like this but this location has completely gone downhill. I do not recommend this place at all…

Great location right near downtown Dallas. As good a Pei Wei as any other, we were glad to have some good eats to start our trip. We’d just toured Dallas and needed a quick bite before heading to the hotel; no time to try something new. Glad they had their own parking. I like all their food, but I have to get Regular size or there isn’t enough meat with the meal. Regular gives 7 oz of meat; small gives only 4 oz. They have hot water available here to drink if you’re cold!

I love Pei Wei! They have healthy brown rice, steamed options & will hold the sauce. Making them a perfect place for clean eating options when out. They do however serve more than 1 serving of rice fyi. So take some to go! This location was very clean, had nice service & our meals were ready quickly. We came here on vacation, so probably won’t have a chance to come back. We both got the ginger broccoli chicken with brown rice. My husband got the meal as is with sauce and he liked it. I loved the steamed plain option.

One of my favorite spots! My favorite dish is the Sesame Chicken. They also carry a little side of California Rolls that are pretty good! The only downfall about this location is the parking… sometimes even the garage parking is full.

My go to for a quick, easy lunch. They get absolutely swamped at lunch, so order ahead online if you don’t have time to wait. The staff has always been friendly & helpful when I’ve been there.

My co-workers suggested a quick ride in the freebie McKinney trolley to go here for lunch. Typically, I am not a fan of fast food and after this inedible experience, next time, I will go to Whole Foods(1 more stop) and bring it back. The place was packed at Monday lunch and only 1 cashier trying to make a dent in the line. I was desparately trying to access their website to view the nutritional(or lack of) details. After glimpses of meals with 1,000 calories, I gave up that cause. I ordered one of the noodle dishes and it was served on spaghetti. …seriously? So I walked back to the expeditor and asked for the rice noodles and light sauce. He was very gracious and had it remade for me. Still drowned in gross sauce(afraid to look at those sodium stats!!) and none of the extra broccoli. My co-worker ordered the pad thai and looked very pale with very little ingredients. Did not feel well all afternoon, don’t waste your time or money, plenty of decent places around the area.

We eat here all the time for quick and convenient dinners. The food always tastes fresh, is never greasy nor heavily battered, and I’ve rarely come across anything that I didn’t like.(These items were also usually due to my preference, not an error in preparation.) We don’t go to this restaurant looking for genuine Asian cuisine. The teriyaki chicken/beef, ginger beef, and orange peel chicken are delicious. We enjoy take-out as well as dining in at this location. I will say that their lo mein needs improvement: it’s very under-seasoned. The sushi is also fairly mediocre and doesn’t keep well at all.

Sure wish they would have the orange slices with the drinks again. That was a very nice addition to the menu! My Ginger Broccoli had too much sauce on it this time. It was still good, just not as good as usual. They keep changing the menu and getting tired of that. My reward card would not scan and my phone number did not work. They had to enter the scan by its numbers. Second time a different Pei Wei had the same problem. They need to fix that!

This place WAS a very good fast food inexpensive Asian restaurant years ago. But what happened? The stripped down interior space stinks, the food isn’t the quality it used to be, and oh my gosh, get a new dishwasher! I get a dirty bowl or piece of silverware almost every time I go here! Yech. And, hey, manager, designate someone to clean the men’s room perhaps at least once a week. Go look at all that dust/crud on the top of the porcelain on the urinal– is that from the Ming or Ding Dynasty? Double yech. I’m done with this place.

Pei Wei is one of my regular spots to take out/dine in. Why? Because it’s consistently good and the price is right. And they have several veggie options. Here’s a tip for all you folks who are poor like I am and can’t afford to eat there on a regular basis: Order a side of noodles(you get to choose the sauce) and an f’n spring roll. Guess how much that costs? Umm, only $ 3.75. You’re welcome. I was angry at them for awhile because they never have bogo coupons anymore, but I could only boycott them for so long. And now they’ve started this new rewards program, in case you haven’t heard, where psychopaths like me yell out their phone numbers really loudly at the beginning of every order, because they’ll inevitably forget to ask you for your number(and you don’t get the points if they don’t put in your damn number). And you can also be even more of a psychopath by telling your friends who didn’t sign up for rewards to use your phone number when they go. You’ll be earning free entrees in no time. Also, note to Pei Wei(because clearly the person who’s in charge of such decisions reads these things): BRINGBACKTHEJAPANESECHILERAMEN!

I’ve been to this Pei Wei way too many times. The reason I usually come here is for convenience and how fast they can get my order ready. I normally stick with their Shrimp Fried Rice, but I can honestly say that it isn’t near as good as some of the Asian restaurants in the area. The only reason to come to Pei Wei is truly to get your food fast. Otherwise, order your food from a more authentic Asian restaurant where you can get better flavor and a nicer rice texture.

It’s Pei Wei. You won’t come here expecting the best Chinese food. It’s almost a back up plan when you don’t know what else to eat. Their menu seems to have simplified to choice of sauce, meat & rice/noodle. I liked their old menu that had a curry dish on it. The Thai Dynamite Chicken was over sauced and over salted(probably MSG). I don’t know why I thought the chicken would be sautéed and not fried. Some parts of my brown rice had this weird flavor to it. I couldn’t pin point what it was, but it was very displeasing. Glad it has parking spots just for take out customers.

Horrible sushi, cold and sometimes frozen. not freshly rolled. Kroger has better sushi then this. Also prices have gone up a whole $ 2 with the new small size bowl and original size. Food quality and portion size has stayed the same. Very disappointed with the sushi… don’t call frozen food freshly rolled.

The one great thing about Pei Wei is the fresh ingredients. I have always been impressed with the quality and freshness of the meals. Having tried many dishes, I enjoy the spicy the better. The service has always been friendly and helpful. When dining with a group, the staff takes the time to review the menu with the newbies. There is not outside seating at this location and the parking is limited. Many walk up customers and it gets very busy at noon. Arrive around 11am and 11:30am, you will be fine. Spicy Korean with brown rice is my favorite dish. Enjoy!

Pei Wei is one of those places i’m not excited about writing the review of. But I tried their sushi and i felt compelled to write one. Stay away from it. It’ll cost you $ 8 bucks for a grocery store quality sushi. I would still give this joint a 3 star just because I do like couple of items on their menu and the quality is decent.

We frequent this place for lunch at the office. They are always very crowded, but this location does a great job of coordinating seating during the«lunch rush». This takes the stress out of trying to eye a table and battle someone over it. Great staff, and are really helpful when an order came out wrong, or customizations are requested. My favorite is the Thai Dynamite Tofu with Brown Rice. They use sliced, pressed tofu that stir-fried in the wok(as opposed to steamed tofu). It is seasoned very well. Not a huge fan of the pork egg-rolls, but I like the lettuce wraps, spring rolls, and hot and sour soup.

What’s not to like? It’s tasty and quick. I tried the whole create your own dish yesterday with the coconut thai chicken on fried rice and really liked it. If you enjoy sweating as you eat then this is the meal for you. It felt healthy given I could feel my metabolism increase as I perspirated from the spicy thai. I liken it to celery given they say you burn more calories eating it then you consume. That probably isn’t the case hear, but it’s good enough for me. By the way, avoid the egg rolls as the more appropriate name should be grease roll as it had probably 2 – 3 tablespoons of grease drip out of it. I couldn’t finish it. My favorite part is… the Mega-Ultra-Drink-Creator 4000 edition as that space aged beauty is a game changer. I love that I can create the ultimate drink and push a thousand buttons. It’s my happy time!

Just under $ 7 for a salad with chicken is a good price. $ 2 for a fountain drink, and around $ 9 for the bowls with chicken, pork or beef. Add $ 1 to convert your white or brown rice to fried rice with a meal. While this location is pretty fast in taking orders to go, and seating everyone during the lunch rush, the cashiers don’t always charge you quite right. Today I got a bowl, a salad, two drinks, and asked for a side of asian slaw. The slaw should have been $ 1 because of their ‘add a side’ combo deal advertised all over the menus, but they charged me normal side price. :/ To their benefit, I did see a guy putting stuff into a bag for a to go order and he set one of the boxes down instead of putting it into the bag before putting the bag on the ‘ready to go’ counter. Another staff member saw the box a few moments later and went back through all the bags on the table and found which one it belonged to and gently deposited the item inside. Everyone hates it when you order to go and get to your destination only to find that your order is incorrect. It seems like this Pei Wei does go the extra mile to at least notice that something is awry if there is extra food laying around. The soda machine is pretty fun too. There isn’t a lot of parking in the lot at the entrance that isn’t reserved for the other shops in the area, but there is a parking garage right under the building that you can enter on Thomas Street. The stairs or elevator let you out right next to the Up in Smoke store.
