My favorite place to grab a personal pan pizza! They have the best thin crispy crust! I love how you can build your own pizza with as many toppings as your heart desires without being charged for extra toppings.

One of my favorite«better than fast food and still get your food fast» places. The employees keep the restaurant clean, and I’ve never had to wait longer than 5 minutes in line for my order. As someone who is not blessed with any culinary skills, I have made the mistake of trying to build my own pizza(my feeble attempt to try to be creative) and it turned out very mediocre. So if you’re not super picky and just want a pizza that tastes really good, I would recommend choosing one of their speciality pies and tweaking it by substituting or removing different toppings. It’s less risky but still gives you the option to customize without the risk of having it taste bad… Because then it’s just your fault for picking that combination of toppings, haha. I always get the pan crust just so my pizza can withstand the weight of all my toppings. I think the size of the pizza is fair. I never have any slices left over, but I do feel full afterwards. Overall I like coming to this location to dine-in or to-go. Super quick, convenient, and tasty!

Gluten Free option is tasty, and the staff has been well-trained! I love that I’m not nickeled and dimes for adding what I want to my own personal pizza. It’s also great that everyone can get what they want, and it doesn’t break the bank. Fabulous concept and great execution!

Lady behind the counter seemed annoyed, and uninterested in helping me as a customer. Started the whole experience poorly. Pizza was good. Other employees were nice enough. Still. I can’t abide bad customer service.

It’s like the Chipotle of pizza which ironically enough it is own by the Mc Donald’s chain who owns Chipotle, go figure. Quick and easy choose your toppings your side and enjoy. This place is very convenient for a family that cannot decide on anything everyone gets exactly what they want. On that note that’s why my stars are not very high because there’s tons of great pizza joints in Dallas.

I like Pie Five we stopped by 3÷18÷15 and I got the Athenian and Thai-riffic. The thai pizza was good but i prob wouldn’t order it again. This is my man’s spot and for some reason his pizza always ends up Looking and tasting better to me than mine?

What a great, fast concept for people on the go and pizza on the go! The set-up is like Subway where you can see your toppings to choose from and see the pizza masterpiece being created. Don’t let the«Subway» concept scare you though; that is the same set-up in most busy restaurant kitchens except it is usually in the back of the kitchen away from customers’ view. They have ample choices of signature pies OR you can be the«Picasso» and create your own. Ordering: 1) choose your(10inch) crust(four to choose from including gluten free which is $ 2.00 extra) 2) choose your sauce(seven to choose from) 3) then choose your toppings I ordered: 1) Five Star: marinara, cheddar, pork sausage, pepperoni, beef, green olives, red & green peppers, black olives, red onions on Artisan thin crust(menu recommends classic pan crust). 2) My own personal pie: marinara, cheese, pepperoni, bacon, spinach, mushrooms, jalapeños on Artisan crust. Ingredients tasted fresh on both. Marinara sauce was just ok but the toppings really take away from tasting it. Crust was only crispy and crunchy at the edges. Middle of the crust was soft; this may be due to the amount of toppings I chose. Yeah, I’m cuckoo for toppings! I did get pepper flakes and their special«sprinkle dust» added after the pies were baked. Not sure what the«sprinkle dust» is or if I could really taste it; I would have to get a pie with and without it to know the difference. Either way, I got it cuz when in Rome… Once the pie is incorporated, it takes approximately 2 – 3 minutes to bake. You can’t get a pizza that fast if you bought a frozen one and stuck it in the microwave!!! Not that you would, but you get what I’m saying??? :) So here’s the best topping to top all toppings: ALL pies, no matter how many toppings you get are $ 6.99+tax! It’s cheap, it’s fresh, it’s good, it’s fast! Check ‘em out!

Great Pizza, employees are nice. This is near HP and UP so some customers can get very needy and rude towards the employees. There is no need to be rude people, especially to those handling your food.

This is their FIRSTLOCATION– now 85 or so restaurants… so Darrin told me tonight. Got the Pie Five thin crust and it was yummy! Great idea for quick, custom pizzas… everyone can get what they want. Size of pies hits the spot. Just right for the price, too! Good spot for quick bite to eat for a good price.

Have been going to pizza five since it was at the old location. Pizza is still great and the staff is also great except for an obese older woman that always complains about everything. All the pizzas are great this is one of my favorite restaurant’s to eat at.

Now why didn’t I think of this idea for a restaurant first! Such a cool concept! Pie Five is basically like Subway except they are making piping hot pizzas instead of sandwiches. I adore anyplace that allows me to customize and Pie Five has a vast selection of fresh toppings and sauces to allow you to do just that! Plus, the pizzas are just the right size for one person, not too big, not too small, just right! Be sure to get a sprinkle of the«magic dust» on top. Not sure what’s in it but it is indeed«magic». Adds an extra bit of «zip» and«zing» to the pizza. Salads are also on the menu(I didn’t get one but they looked good). Definitely a good spot for lunch or a quick dinner. I shall return!

Pie Five is as good as it gets for the price! You can put as much as you want on it for $ 6.99 and is the perfect lunch sized portion(plus a little leftover). Staff was very friendly, and the service was quick. I’ll definitely be back!

I like change but there are some changes here that are what make it worthy of 4 stars instead of 5. The good changes are they have added ricotti cheese, larger pepperonis, more variety of crust and more new options to the menu since moving. Another good change is the location. This one is so much more convenient to me. What I don’t like is that they can’t seem to keep most their employees for more than a week. There are only 3 people there that I’ve ran into on multiple occasions and usually they’re there training a newbie. This location has been open up since October or so and yet they still only have 3 employees who know what they’re doing? I can’t recall their names but there is a tall and round white fellow with medium cut hair and who always has facial hair, a tall and lanky black fellow with short hair, and a slight above average height average build black lady with medium length hair. If you see those 3 have them make your pizza and not the noobs. Otherwise you’ll be left with a sad looking«pizza»(think more like«NONEPIZZA with LEFTBEEF» — google it if you don’t know what I mean). But yeah if you do get someone who knows what they’re doing it is a very delicious piece of pie. Then my review for the old location is still true. Also sign up for the CIRCLEOFCRUST. You get free pizzas/salads on random occasions/half birthdays/holidays/etc, double points, bogo, discounts i.e. $ 5 pies, and more and it’s free to sign up, just make sure you REGISTER your card online asap or you can’t redeem your freebies.

I have to admit that I have seen a ton of Pie Five locations around DFW and I have purposely avoided them for one reason only, I do not have time to wait on a pizza. Well, little did I know, the«Five» in Pie Five is referring to the amount of time it takes for your pizza to be done. It’s like a fast-casual pizza place. I was looking for something quick and I was headed to another restaurant in the plaza when I saw the sign that said, «Got five minutes?» I figured that it must be one of those buy by the slice pizza places, but it’s not at all. You get a personal pizza with your choice of toppings and the pizza is cooked in one of those rolling ovens(pizza goes in on one side and comes out at the other end). Any pizza is just $ 6.79 and it’s a pretty nice sized personal pizza. Pie Five offers several different signature pizzas like BBQ Chicken, Mediterranean, or Margherita. Pie Five will also let you create your own pie and you can choose your toppings. They offer thin, pan, whole grain thin, and gluten-free crust. The gluten-free is an extra $ 2. Sauces are Tuscan marinara, spicy marinara, BBQ, ranch, olive oil, and alfredo. Pie Five offers the usual favorite meats in addition to bacon, chicken, and beef. Finally there are several different types of veggies including olives, onions, pineapples, and tomatoes. Pie Five also offers salads. I give Pie Five 5 stars for the great idea of quick, personalized pizza, 4 stars for the tasty pizza(I’m a hard to please Chicago style lover), and 3 stars for the marketing/advertising. Maybe it’s just me, but I’ve never seen a Pie Five before I came to Texas and I really could not infer that it was 5 minute pizza by the name or the logo. I thought the name was just a cute spin on high five and one of their logos is a picture of a hand like a high five. I can kind of see that the slice in the main logo on the sign outside is about the size of 5 minutes on a clock, but I didn’t take the time to think about that when I was looking for something quick to eat. Perhaps if it was called Pie in Five I would have come here sooner. Anyway, I love pizza and fast pizza is even better. I hope that my review helps other people who might think getting a pizza will be time consuming. This is pizza for people on the go, so go!

I was a fan of TOPTHAT Pizza and hated seeing it shut down. So when I heard about Pie Five, I had to see if it would meet my hopes. The store on Greenville is new and does have some growing pains. The store itself looks great. Well lit with contemporary furnishings. I like to read at lunch, and this was a great place for it. The girl came to greet me, but instead of welcoming me to the store, she just stared at me. So I told her which crust I wanted.(Whole grain). Then, she stared at me again. Like I said. Growing pains. I told her it was my first visit, and she found her voice and helped me with the rest of my order. At the cash register the manager was great, friendly, explained the circle of crust club, got me a card and I was ready to go. 5 minutes later, my pizza was ready. I did a custom mix that included the spicy sauce. Great choice. The pizza was great. Everything I was hoping for was there. Hot pizza with all the variations I can think of in a nice setting. This location is on the Northwest Corner of Greenville and Southwest Pkwy. The easiest way there is to go South on Greenville from Caruth Haven. Total Price for lunch was under 10 bucks.(10 inch pizza and a coke) Will definitely go back..

What a great concept for a pizza joint. Why is this the first place to think of charging one price regardless of the number of toppings you get on your pizza??? All of the ingredients are very fresh and our two pizzas were delicious. My husband finished his pizza, but was satisfied. I took ¼ home with me or I would have been uncomfortably stuffed. They also have salads — again, one price for whatever you want on it. And the menu includes ideas for pizzas and salads in case you can’t think of which toppings sound good together. There are also 2 or 3 different styles of pizza crust and sauces. You would never have to eat the same thing twice here. I can’t wait to go back and try again in the near future.

We received one«get a free pizza» coupon and another«get a pizza for $ 5» coupon, so we decided to capitalize on those and try this place out for lunch today. Two people getting lunch for $ 5 is pretty hard to pass up. I am told this store just relocated here from their previous Uptown location, and I think this is a good fit near The Village. Basically, anything you want here is generally $ 6.79, whether its a specialty pizza, build-your-own pizza, or a salad. Pretty awesome. They have several types of crusts and sauces to choose from(the spicy marinara actually has a kick to it, I was impressed), and of course tons of choices for toppings. Staff was friendly, seating was plentiful, and the pizza was very good for the price point. It’s a great lunch spot or a great place if you and the other people you are with have completely different preferences on pizza toppings. You can also join their e-club deal and earn a free, which is great. Definitely worth a try if you are in the area and looking for an inexpensive but tasty meal option.
