The food was delicious, the service lacked. We never received our salads, I told them to take them off the bill and we were still charged. Of course I ended up having them take it off, but the server seemed to not be able to find a manager. We did get deserts to go. Also, until I was telling my companions that I was posting on Unilocal the waiter wasn’t even bringing our change!

I love this place. Many people hate the chain restaurants but I still think you get a great meal at great prices. If anything, because it is a chain, they have to answer to the corporate office and also to the very restaurant. I love their seafood platters. This review goes for all of the Red Lobster Locations.

My first visit to Red Lobster in many years. While the parking lot seemed very full there were plenty of tables available. I was greeted both at the door and at the host station. I was promptly seated in a comfortable dining alcove. My server, Sethi did an excellent job and provided friendly service without being intrusive. I was tempted by the endless shrimp promotion. Sethi made sure that my plate was full with just enough time between servings to catch my breath. As to the food quality the biscuits were fine. Salad was adequate and the shrimp were plentiful but salty and without much taste. I will try Red Lobster again and try something from their fresh fish menu.

Food was ok. The crab lags were reheated and were not that great. When the staff came to clean the table, they sprayed winded cleaner to clean. The fumes had us coughing and eyes watering. Yes it was that strong. The waitress was really good and professional. I don’t like the windex smell my food.

Last night was perfect! I go to Red Lobster occasionally because I love their Salmon New Orleans. This time the server recommended the Wood Grilled Lobster Shrimp & Salmon with Brown Butter Sauce. It was cooked to perfection with beautiful grill marks and perfect flavor combinations. Our server made many other great recommendations too. My husband tried something new and I tried a new drink, the High Tide. Wow. My husband and I discussed how it just seemed like all the employees were happy and wanted to be there. It was refreshing compared to other restaurants. The manager even held the door open for us on our way out. Top notch service and food.

Red lobster has definitely gone down hill in the last few years. The salad tonight, was nothing more than plain olé white iceberg lettuce. Yuck. I think I might have had 2 teeny tiny slivers of cucumber, and practically no dressing. So, dry white lettuce. Yuck. I asked for some extra dressing, and she brought the wrong kind. Sent iit back and got the right kind, I think. It was so watered down it was hard to tell what it was. Then I ordered shrimp scampi, and it is just not the same as it used to be. I remember delicious shrimp in a wonderful garlic butter sauce. No more. Now it comes in water, with a little bit of butter(or grease) floating on top. I don’t taste any garlic at all. So, boiled shrimp. The baked potato was ok, but really, what can you do to a baked potato? The rolls were good. We also had three drinks, sangria, frozen margarita and a scotch old fashioned. All three so weak and watered down, it was like drinking kool aid. All this lousy food came to $ 75! No way was it worth anything close to $ 75. Guess it was my last time to eat here. Service wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t great either. They just don’t have the panache they used to have.

Been here about 45 minutes just got our meal. Waitress said they are busy… I can count 3 empty booths and 3 empty tables near us, that have been empty the 45 minutes we’ve been here… go figure?

Went to Red Lobster before and always came up disappointed. Food always smaller then what it’s supposed to be, but not this case everything was fresh and to par. The waitress was by far one of the best and customer friendly person that you don’t see anymore. Thumbs up and will be back.

We came here a few weeks ago for a celebration dinner for my husband. He loves Red Lobster and always orders the Ultimate Feast. Because we were celebrating him, he choose to come here. Red Lobster is located off of Vantage Point Drive, right off of Greenville and 635. Outback Steakhouse and Olive Garden are just down the street. We love this location and how convenient it is to access. Our server was on point. She was attentive without being annoying. Our drinks were always filled and she brought us extra lemons for our food when we requested them. She was super sweet. I ordered the snow crab legs and my hubby had the Ultimate Feast. Both were good and we pretty much cleared our plates & even ordered dessert. While Red Lobster is a little pricey, it is a good restaurant with consistantly good seafood.

Our waiter was very good. I believe his name was Ryan. He sensed that we were mainly interested in talking with each other and so was efficient and non-intrusive. I really appreciated that he brought me a second Coke without my having to even ask.(and there was no extra charge for a second one). We both ordered the combination sirloin steak and lobster tail with crab stuffing. The lobster and especially the crab stuffing were absolutely excellent. This delighted me because the last time I had been to Red Lobster(in another state entirely, the lobster had been rubbery). My steak was ordered medium rare and was somewhat overcooked. Possibly, the two meals were mixed up as my friend ordered medium and it looked to me like hers was medium rare. The steak was spiced a little more than I expected but it was food. We both had the coleslaw and there was nothing wrong with it at all, but I wished I hadn’t ordered it. We were there at lunchtime, and it was not crowded. We were not rushed at all. Essentially, my only complaint was the steak being a bit overcooked. I didn’t say anything about it as my luncheon companion was on a tight schedule and I didn’t want to delay her, so the restaurant wasn’t given a chance to respond to the issue.

This experience, it came right after a HORRIBLE experience for a birthday dinner at another establishment, so we were all on edge when we came here, but we were seated right away, a good 14 people, greeted and served with a smile. I forgot the name of our waitress, but to be serving our huge party all by herself, she did really well. Forgot a couple of things here and there, but she always apologized and made up for it right away. To top it off, before we left, she gave us all a bag of those hot, delicious Red Lobster biscuits. That was so sweet, the cherry on top! A couple of things that could have been better: I believe it was the Sunset Passion Colada, it had not a drop of alcohol. It pretty much was a virgin drink. Also, the macaroni & cheese that was brought to the kids, it was watery, had no flavor and tasted honestly like Kraft Mac & Cheese, which honestly tastes much better. Besides that, everything else was tasty, the biscuits kept coming and even though it did take a little while just to receive our salads, once they came out, all the food kept flowing.

Came here on Sunday and we sat at the bar to watch the football game. The drinks were great, food was amazing and best of all the service was outstanding. The bartender, Audie, was incredible, he made us laugh, had great conversations, and attended us with everything we needed.

We have not dined at this l location in quite some time. As we entered we noticed the restaurant was clean. It was noon time and the restaurant was far from being full. We were promptly seated and our drink order taken. We had three in the party and we ordered two of the Sailor Platters and one of the«choose your own platter». We were given a lunch and a dinner menu so we could have ordered rom either. We chose the lunch as the prices were a little less. The sailor’s platter had fried shrimp which was small but good. It also had a garlic based baked shrimp and three small pieces of baked fish. All were good. The one person ordered fried clams and fried shrimp and they were equally as good. By the way the shrimp are really very small. The wait service was excellent, as he brought us fresh bread twice. Two orders had garden salad and the lettuce could have been a little fresher for those salads. I had the Caesar salad and found it to be very good. The iced tea was just OK as it needed to be brewed a little longer. The meal for each of us was very good. We had a coupon that was from the newspaper and good for $ 3 off the bill.

My birthday and our engagement anniversary fall on the same day, and for some reason we’ve developed a tradition of celebrating with a Red Lobster feast. It’s a tad low brow for the occasion, but that’s part of the fun. They’ve tried really hard to revamp their outward image in recent months, but the ambiance and the food is just the same as always. Honestly, I’m ok with that. After all, it’s Red Lobster not Ruth’s Chris, so you have to go in with the right expectations. This was the first time I’ve ever had to wait for a table at a Red Lobster in my entire life. The hostess projected a 2 – 3 minute wait while they cleaned off a booth for us, yet somehow we waited about 10 – 15 minutes. I could understand if they were busy, but there were quite a few empty tables the entire time we waited. I ended up ordering the Shrimp Your Way, which on Mondays and Tuesdays means you can pick up to four kinds of shrimp. I got the scampi, coconut bites, and a double-portion of fried shrimp. The fourth option was popcorn shrimp, but it seemed a bit superfluous to have two kinds of fried shrimp. The platter also came with one side, and I picked French Fries to keep the unhealthy theme going strong. As always, we were treated to delicious cheesy biscuits. I could probably eat fifty of these things in one sitting, and it was hard to limit my intake. I also got a side Caesar salad with my platter. This time it came with shaved parmesan rather than the shredded variety Red Lobster used to serve. It was a pretty decent salad, though probably loaded up with calories. Each variety of shrimp was tasty in its own way, though not jumbo-sized by any means. The coconut bites were basically coconut-crusted popcorn shrimp. The scampi was good and buttery, though they seemed even smaller than the popcorn coconut bites. The regular fried shrimp are always my favorite, and I typically eat them by the dozen when it’s time for Endless Shrimp. Overall, the meal was ok, but it certainly wasn’t anything special. I didn’t really appreciate them running the floor sweeper up and down the adjacent carpet while I was trying to enjoy my fancy meal. Like I said, you have to go into Red Lobster with the right expectations…
