Hands down the best agency I’ve ever worked with and they are up to speed on the rebate trend that’s happening. Mark and his team was one of the best agents I’ve worked with. I regret being peer pressured by family friends to go with their friend who was an agent after I took a break from looking because that person was a royal nightmare. With redfin they have a full team of people that can help you… Don’t need to worry about one agent and only one agent being able to meet you to show a home or take care of any situation that may arise. They are also super nice and 90% of the team never even tried to remotely pressure me to buy a home. I actually almost wish they did so that I could’ve bought one right before the market exploded like crazy.

Redfin is a great business model in the very traditional real estate industry. We recently used them for both our sale and purchase transactions. A few positives: you get a team to work with rather than just a single agent, so someone is always available should you need assistance; they also rebate a portion of the traditional commission to you, while still giving you all the services as a traditional agent. Mark Riede handled our purchase and Carmen Jones handled our sale. We’d recommend both of them to anyone looking to buy or sell in the Dallas market.

Carmen is the best real estate agent I have ever worked with. I have bought/​sold over 20 homes and have worked with many agents. Carmen stands head and shoulders above them all. She went above and beyond the call of duty on many occasions, often times doing things that were the responsibility of the seller or seller’s agent just because she wanted to make sure my interests were represented and to ensure everything went smoothly. She also put me in touch with some very capable and economical contractors for projects that I wanted to follow up with once I owned the home. I can’t say enough good things about Carmen and highly recommend her to anyone buying or selling a home.

I have been following redfin for a couple of years in other markets. I was happy to see them come to Dallas and utilized them for the purchase of my last house. Their agent, Risa Tompson, is awesome. Great assistance on property, mortgage recommendations, inspection and title company.
In my opinion, Traditional real estate agents (the names you see everywhere) have too much control over the rules made by the Texas real estate commission– and NOT in favor of the consumer, it’s all about protecting their commissions.
Use and support Redfin and other non– traditional approaches to buying and selling property — and save yourself some money!
