Closed! So sad. Only place my kids ever knew of Chinese food. Where are they going to get their chicken noodle soup when they’re sick now? No more amazing orange chicken, duck meat fried rice or chicken in onion sauce. It’s so sad to see them go. :-(

My heart is broken, I visited this place for over 12 years, even drove from Tyler to get some of their great dishes and wonderful service. Dont know where I will go now. Their rice dishes were never greasy and always generous portions. Man, what a bummer! Haven’t located a place yet that cooks as well in my new area in North Dallas. Help!!!

The fooday here is delicious but I only gave a 4 star because of the lack of service and it took forever for our food to come out. Other than that everything was great.

I don’t even like duck… but after having their Peking duck… I am a fan of duck! The bao, crispy duck skin, and deboned duck meat is the best you will ever have. I now crave my Peking duck bao pocket sandwich often.

It was just«ok». Not sure if you all had a different chef or what? The chicken was dry, and pot was decent. They were out of a bunch of items and it was only 7:30? A big table came in, and it was like we didn’t exist after that, like we didn’t matter anymore. We needed a to go box(not for me) and our check. Finally after waiting 15 min, we got all that and left. $ 30 for an app, and two decent meals. Won’t be back…

I always get the steamed lobster for my mom, and she loves it. Seriously, she licks her fingers. The best thing about Sing Kee is the customer service. They are so incredibly polite, helpful, and patient. They never rush me and genuinely try to help me pick the best dish for me. I wish they sell vietnamese food here so I don’t have to deal with the poor customer service of Bistro B!

I like this place but it looks like they are having some problems. They are closing more and more days now. I hope they don’t eventually shut down

Service: 3⁄5 –Cash or Credit Card accepted –Food is made quickly Food: 3⁄5 –The flavor is definitely there. I ordered the pork spareribs in honey & garlic, fried prawns in special salt and the eggplant with garlic sauce. Portions however seemed a bit lacking. Three dishes came to $ 31. –We were full but felt a bit sick afterwards. Now I remember why I hadn’t gone to a chinese restaurant in a while.

Decent Chinese food. Lunch prices were cheap, except it’s +50 cents for take out. Don’t get the Boba Tea drinks. I got the snow rainbow(I think it was called). While delicious, it came in a cup that was full of ice. I doubt there was 4 ounces of drink in it. Cost $ 3.25. Definately won’t be getting one of those drinks again if I come back. Other than that it was a 4 star experience.

This place rests right next to the credible Bistro B and within a plaza of dank Asian businesses. I sought it out by searching for late night Chinese food on Unilocal.Since Dallas has no delivery Chinese scene, I trekked from uptown and started eating at 10pm. That brings me to my first positive: it’s open til 12am. Chinese food is almost always better eaten really late for me, for some reason. I revel at the idea I’ll be awake at 11pm getting my face greasy with lo mein and bbq. It was empty inside, which for that moment was good because I was going to doggedly attack anything that was edible. I hadn’t eaten since noon. I got a nice table and ordered bbq duck and pork on rice. As I waited, I saw everything was clean from what I could tell. Now for the climax of the story… there was no climax! *Sad Trumpet* The food was too average for a climax. It was just tasty enough to finish the plate, but moreso I grew up not leaving tables until having finished plates so a regular person might have just left a portion. Idk. This isn’t to say it was bad though. None of my food was bad. In fact, with enough chili and soy sauce it livened up a little bit. But the pork, though sweet and seasoned, was chewy on chewy. Maybe I arrived too late to get the nicer tender cuts, but I don’t like gristle. The duck was tasty but on the lukewarm side. The rice was good rice. Service was the friendliest I had ever received at a Chinese restaurant. Usually it’s pretty impersonal, which isn’t bad, but the servers at Sing Kee are very outgoing and seemed to enjoy chatting, and I like that a lot. The server lamented on American eating habits, like ordering meat without the skin or being afraid to eat visible fat. All of which I agreed with. In the end, I wouldn’t go back and try the bbq plates. I would definitely go back and try a random dish on their expansive menu. There’s no shortage of options. Sing Kee may be way better than I know, but I know the bbq is just okay.

I get off of work late and it gives me very little options for a nice meal after 10pm that doesn’t have a bar. It’s a great choice if you are looking for REAL Chinese food before 12am on weekdays and 2am in the weekend. They have their specialty items posted all over their walls and we chose the following: –clam soup with lemon grass and Thai peppers. Clams tasted fresh and were very clean. The broth itself was good BUT I’ve had it better at My Canh. I’d give it a 4 out of 5. –fried tofu with shrimp. The tofu was soft and fried perfectly, only wish the batter had a bit more seasoning to it. Also, they literally placed a single shrimp on top when I thought it would be stuffed with them. 2.5 out of 5. –steamed lobster over a bed of fried rice. This was my favorite dish of the night. The lobster was broken down and steamed over fried rice and covered in lobster sauce. The lobster was hard to eat at times because of it being steamed. I couldn’t tell if I was trying to pick at the meat or gills and it would stick to the shell. I’d give it a 4 out of 5.

Possibly the best Chinese in Dallas, and certainly the best if you go by dollar amount. I have no idea how they maintain such a large menu of disparate dishes on hand all the time. It boggles the mind. Fried tofu sounds dull but it is emphatically not. The oyster platter had colossal but flavorful oysters. My father is an oyster aficionado who normally prefers small & flavorful shellfish but these amazed him. My son demands the dry noodle w/beef every time. I tell him he is in a rut. vegetable dishes are a weak point in most Chinese places — all you get are dull sauteed vegs, or even-more-boring steamed ones. But at Sung Kee this is not the case. This was my first time to try snow pea shoots, at our waitress’s suggestion — perfect. Their other veggies are good too. Best of all, each dish tastes and feels like it was constructed completely independently — as though each one is the diner’s showpiece. Man I got to go back there today!

My wife and I invited a couple to the Rikki Derek Christmas show. They(the friends) took us to dinner as we paid for the show. Sing Kee was a total joy. The soft shell crab was cut into pieces and was #*^+€£¥ unbelievable. We had a orange beef dish, a sweet n sour pork, both of these had the meat fried to perfection and the orange sauce was thick dark and robust. The sweet n sour was not that sweet ass stuff you get in amer/asian joints, this was the real deal where the sweet n sour are balanced and exciting. The shrimp fried tofu was superb and the sauce awesome. SCRUMPT-DELI-UMPTOUS!!! PS. Rikki Derek was unimpressive.

We had the salt & pepper crab. For $ 38, I expected this to be fresh… it definitely was previously frozen as th meat in the legs were soo dried out. There were a number of other dishes but not really worth mentioning. Unilocal, you steared me in the wrong direction. I should have stuck to bistro b.

I used to go to Singkee all the time when I first started learning how to drive. The area was far enough to drive to and be away from home. I think they closed down for awhile and then reopen again. I lost touch with this place moving away for college. I went back recently and so glad to know they still have the same great food!!! We used to get lobster fried cheese and peking duck all the time. This time we just ordered peking duck, hot fish, and fried tofu. IMO, I didnt care much for the hot fish because it didn’t match my palate. Fried tofu was good. Regular fried tofu with shrimp on top. The best dish we ordered was the peking duck!!! I love peking duck and the banh bao it comes with. It’s fun to eat. You open the banh bao and assemble some duck meat inside, scallions, and cilantro. You could either add some of the sweet sauce or dip. I just slap some on there and eat. I dont like the messy of dipping. I dont care what entrees you order, you must get the peking duck! service was so nice. It was really hot outside and she said to sit at a table away from the windows so we won’t get the heat through the windows.

Finally I found another really good Chinese restaurant near home! Everytime we are in a Chinese restaurant, we don’t know what to order as there are so many choices and they all look so good. This is our first visit, we ordered clams with fremented bean and garlic sause, spicy tofu and fried rice with chicked and fremented fish. They are all so good, especially the clams. It’s even better than many restaurants in Hong Kong. Everyone should try this!

THEGODDAMNSIGNSAYSBBQONIT I ordered spare ribs. I got fried pork chop pieces. Look at my pic. NOTBBQ. NOTSPARERIBS. This is Texas. The dept. of weights & measures should have jurisdiction to yank the«BBQ» part of their sign down. Hell, Texas should have a dept. of BBQ Verification. It would consist of me, punishing bullshit restaurants posing as BBQ. BBQ is a sacred art and we need to protect it. Just like those endangered animals species out there. Save the whales? Save the baby seals? Save the REALTXBBQ goddammit. Now I get that these folks are Asian and they have a different meaning for BBQ. But, think about it. 99% of Chinese places have those red bbq spare ribs on their menu. 99% of Chinese buffets have them. I was at least expecting those things. Prefrozen with obnoxious artificial sauce and jammed in a broiler. I’ll take ‘em. But a pile of fried chunks? Sing Kee Chinese BBQ& Seafood Restaurant you have insulted me. You insult Texas and BBQ every time you light up your sign. If I get permission from my wife I’m gonna rip that goddamn lying bullshit sign down.
