Spec’s

Not necessarily my first choice in liquor stores but it gets the job done. The staff is nice and they carry a relatively large selection.
If you pay with cash, or I think even a debit card you normally save like 5−10% on your purchase!

I decided to stop at this location as it’s ‘sort of’ on my way home from the office. I was out of one of my favorite vodkas and didn’t feel like driving to my usual Specs located on Central Expressway.
This store is definitely the smallest Spec’s I’ve been in. That said they do a really good job of maximizing the usage of the space. And it was done in way that didn’t result in the place feeling cramped and overstocked.
On my visit they seemed to have the appropriate amount of staff working as the there was hardly anyone waiting in line to pay. And even better, the staff was friendly and helpful.
While this location will not replace my usual Specs, it’s definitely a nice option. And considering it’s not far off my path, I’ll definitely make some return visits.

The employees at this location are wonderful. Ventured into this store and could not believe the selection. The prices were great and I will definitely be returning.

They have the friendliest staff! The one Preston royal is never friendly. At this location, I’ve never been ask how my day was by more people AND with a smile. I’ll be coming here more. Just as easy on my way home.

This location is close to home and suits my needs just fine. Prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. If you’re feeling adventurous with bourbon, Spec’s would be the place to indulge your taste buds. The beer is selection is impressive. Port wine is also well represented. What I have not seen is Madeira wine. Then again, I haven’t really seen this type of wine too much anywhere.

The employees at this location are brainless and heartless. A girlfriend and I had been walking for over a mile in the middle of Nowhere, Texas, trying to find the place that had towed her car from the parking lot at the apartments I live at. Spec’s was the only place to stop at within that walking range (20 minutes in the heat of a summer Texas afternoon).
My friend and I went inside to buy some water because we were near dehydration after such a walk. Since she’s only 20, she gave me her debit card to buy the water with (I’m 27). I didn’t have the money to get the water because my card is being replaced at the moment due to a fraudulent transaction that took place over the weekend. These fools would not sell me 2 bottles of water because I was using her card (with her picture ID on it), even though she stood there and explicitly gave me permission to. I don’t care what the reasoning is behind this refusal of service, but they would have been a lot less irritated if they had just sold me the water than not, because now I’m going to make sure they get the point.
Bottom line: won’t ever frequent this Spec’s, or any other location because of it.

They don’t have Absolut Orient Apple but they’re ordering me some :-) great customer service.
The place is well-​stocked and the customer service is awesome!

This area needed a Spec’s. There are a few different adult beverage stores around this area but Spec’s is the best out of all of them on price and selection. This is a big store with lots to choose from.

I am thrilled Spec’s has moved into the area! The prices are very competitive and the staff friendly & helpful. They are not fully stocked yet but still have a nice variety. Welcome, Spec’s!
