My fiancé and I came here months ago and had such crappy service that we simply walked out. Recently I had lunch here with a co-worker and the experience was positive. I convinced Ryan to try it again. We went for breakfast and the food was good. They weren’t very busy so the service was good as well. Consistently good food at this place. The servers are friendly but seem overwhelmed.

Love this place. Came for a late breakfast on a Sunday morning. It looked busy but still had some tables open. Was told to sit anywhere and we chose outside. They came right away for drink orders and we got those pretty quick. I ordered Veggie Benedict and it was delicious! Fresh veggies and cooked just right. Kids had pancakes and waffles and they scarfed it down. The tables outside were very cute and had a little garden. The people sitting next to us were friendly and chatted with my kids. Sure they were locals. Service was great. Very attentive. Thanked us for coming in and trying them out. I was apprehensive due to the reviews but we are from out of state and I’m glad we tried this place!

Good food. Bad service. Either the wait staff has no training, they just don’t care or they dont like people.

This place was an unexpected and welcome surprise. Ordered a turkey sandwich on some of their homemade white bread with fries. Sandwich was really good, and the fries were some of the best I’ve ever had. The whole meal was $ 7.50!

Still a great place to go. Food is consistently very good. What Else can you say. Everything is prepared here very nicely. Breakfast items are great, wonderful cinnamon rolls. Nice burgers and sandwiches.

Food was pretty good and the service wasn’t bad. We had to ask for water three times before we got it. They seem a bit unorganized and it’s not the cleanest place I’ve been in, but I would return and give it another go.

2nd time eating here an it wasn’t that great the first time. Chicken fried steak was tough an chewy an the gravy was as bland as the meat. Told my in laws if they decide to go there for breakfast, I’d pass on by. The staff was attentive though. Made sure we had our fill of water an OJ

Great food. Had the country fried steak and it was delicious! The seasoning on it was fantastic. Their gravy is great as well and works very well with the steak and biscuits. The coffee is also very good. The service was prompt and very friendly. The prices were very fair and I will be returning again!

Can or frozen Chicken Dumplings soup so disappointed. Frozen tator tots. Services could use some improvement. Not a good experience

Worst experience I have had in a very long time at a restaurant I was so disappointed I really thought the chicken and dumpling soup was going to be home made and it was not and also we were under the assumption with the restaurant being called taters that they would make homemade tater tots and it was frozen we were there a few months ago we had an awesome breakfast but their lunch not so much

My girlfriend and I went in for breakfast. It was around 9am. There were about 5 people in the restaurant. We sat on the patio and we’re the only ones on the patio that morning. Waitress took 10 minutes to bring menus and ask about drinks. My girlfriend then asked about one of the menu items and what it contained. The waitress said she would check on it with the cook and be back. We waited and waited. We sat and watched the waitress conversing with a Co worker while cleaning out the til. In the 15 minutes we waited for a response to the question, she never came back. We walked about before ordering breakfast. It wasn’t even busy that morning. And if they don’t want to take the extra time to serve the people on the patio, don’t have patio seating. We will never return to this place. If I could rate it a 0, I would.

Great potato pancakes! Recommend getting them loaded… Perfectly crisp. Bacon is thick cut and crispy with out even asking for it that way. I like that. Eggs cooked well, good coffee… Liked the back patio and they are pet friendly! Zero complaints

The food is very good. The patio is beautiful with it’s landscape that attracts little birds. The only thing that would make this more enjoyable would be to use real cream instead of the 7 – 11 style creamers and real whipped cream instead of canned whipped cream.

Great place for a small get together over breakfast or lunch. Haven’t tried dinner yet. Food is always good and homemade bread is delicious. Love their French toast. Wait staff is kind and courteous. Cinnamon rolls aren’t what you would expect though with a frosting that almost taste like cherry.

Check out the disc shaped ice cubes! From those to the mix matched garage sale coffee cups to the great breakfast offerings, Taters is a «must try» when in the area. Also serving lunch and weekends they open for Dinner as well. Coffee — hot, fresh and delicious Eggs — Cooked perfectly! Chicken fried steak– huge, delicious gravy, crisp hash browns Corned beef hash– Not from a can, delicious and large portion. Toast– must choose the homemade option! Service this morning was top notch. Thanks for a great meal!

This is a quaint Family café. Our waitress(check out the photo) was fabulous! Food was homecoming and like being at my grandparents home in a weekend :-) Definitely pop over and order something! Delicious!

Nice family run restaurant with reasonable prices and good selection of breakfast(served all day) and lunch items. Food was fresh tasting and large portions. We liked the lentil & bacon soup, the chicken breast sandwich on home bread with lettuce and tomato. I had the biscuits and gravy. Could have ordered the ½ order cause the full size is very filling. Tasted just like the kind your mom would make for you. Nice local place to stop for a quick bite with fast service, good simple food, friendly staff. Low key, simple ambience.

They have the most fabulous breakfast around. No need to drive to Salem for a great breakfast. Very reasonable prices and consistently good meals no matter what we order. Omelets, pancakes, waffles, biscuits and gravy are all wonderful.

Well, this place has pretty good food. Family friendly with simple American style menu items. Breakfast seems to be the meal they concentrate on here the most. The food portions are big and are comparable to cost. The interior is a bit small, cramped and on a busy day, it can get loud. In good weather sitting outside may be the best option here. I rated 3 stars based on the loudness inside and the service. We had 4 orders, 1 was a plain grilled chicken sandwich(nothing but the chicken on the bun, no condiments). The contents of the sandwhich was expressly described by us to the server. Twice the sandwhich had to be sent back to correct. This inconvience came as a result of the server not listening, then not checking the food before bringing it to us both times. That incident aside, the family agreed we would eat there again if in the area.

Good, fresh food, and cosmically huge portions for the price. Friendly, efficient service, and good coffee to boot. Their cinnamon rolls – about the weight if not the size of a loaf of bread – are some of the tastiest I’ve had in Oregon. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Dallas!
