I guess for an airport option it was ok, but there were better places that we saw after we ate here. We stopped in during a layover while the Cavs game was on. We thought this would be a great place to watch part of the game during our layover, well we were wrong. Their TVs are extremely old and small. It was very awkward to watch the game. The food was ok, service was ok. It was nothing special.

My review is a thank you only! Thank you for gluten free options!!! As a traveler, it’s nice to enjoy a burger instead of the GF go to salad!

Great food, great service, awesome atmosphere. Cheers to all that walk in here. Veronica kept my drinks filled and service welcomed.

Very Friendly staff, especially the host. Caesar salad wasn’t bad. My meal was mediocre at best — chicken and fried shrimp. Sweet potato fries were good, but spinach was flavorless. Lots of outlets to charge your phone. Great sweet tea.

We order takeout here often because they have a dedicated gluten free menu and my wife has a gluten allergy. Their service is consistently poor. Preparation time always takes longer than what they say and our orders are always incorrect. Once fixed, the food is flavorful and that’s the only reason we are return customers(and also the reason for an additional star).

When you’re in Terminal E of the DFW airport, there aren’t many options for dining. If you find yourself in this terminal, I can honestly recommend TGI Fridays as a good option. This restaurant is located directly after the security checkpoint, which is a convenient location. I was greeted warmly by the hostess and was seated in a nice booth by the bar. My server, Kara, came by quickly to take my drink order. I ordered the mudslide martini and water, both of which arrived quickly. I then requested a custom appetizer sampler of mozzarella sticks, boneless buffalo wings, and soft pretzels. If there is one thing that TGIF knows well, it’s how to make good bar food. The pretzels were seasoned well, soft, and went really well with the bacon beer cheese dip. Yum! I also enjoyed their buffalo chicken and mozzarella sticks. My server Kara was über friendly and clearly enjoys her job and being around people. She filled my water bottle for the plane, answered questions about the menu, and even tolerated my request to video the making of the Pink Punk Martini(see the video on Unilocal). She made my experience enjoyable, despite the toddler-baby combo making a fuss two tables over.

TGIF at the airport. Can’t complain because it is, after all, in the airport. I recently found out that airport restaurants aren’t run by the actual restaurant of record, rather, the name and concept are used, but a special ‘brand operator’ actually runs the airport restaurants. The food is adequate, and the beer is cold. Mainly, it’s just nice to have a place to sit and relax while waiting for your flight. I had a burger — big, and juicy. Not bad.

Second time through DFW in a month. Last time we stopped at a competitor, very underwhelming, so decided to give Friday a shot. Very friendly service. Wife had the BBQ chicken flat bread, found it satisfying. I had the NY cheddar burger – with bacon and special sauce. It was delicious. Sweet potato fries were also awesome. Recommend strongly when traveling through DFW.

I’d write a lengthier review if the place deserved such. Chef Mike was in full force here, and the results are exactly as expected. No seasoning, lukewarm food with he sauce attempting to provide flavor. The nineties came and went. Please evolve.

This place is really nice and cozy to come in to get a bite to eat before your flight. Rodney was Awesome at the door. Upon seating us he made sure I had somewhere to plug up phone to charge. Also he asked our flight info and told us how long we had and how soon we needed to head back to the terminal. I thought this was I plus on the service.

This specific TGI Fridays gets 5 Stars and the reason why boils down to their service. It was in an airport, I had some time before my flight and decided to have a drink. I was immediately greeted by a server who was polite and directed me to the area to be seated. I actually went in the take out door. but he was nice. The hostess was friendly and polite. She showed me to my table and let me know I can charge my phone if needed…(since I was in an airport). The server was nice and friendly, got my order correct, and helped me pick out which drink I would like the most. She was right and it was delicious. All of the personal experiences that I had with the staff here were great, but it was the service I saw the other host that did not seat me provide that really earned these stars. I did not get a chance to get his name, but I was seated by the entrance and was able to observe his encounters with all the customers he dealt with. He was a great host, friendly, genuine, and overall happy to be there. He asked how their day was going, and upon leaving asked if they enjoyed their meal. He was fantastic.

It’s TGIF Friday’s. It’s hard to even write an insightful review because it’s everything you can expect in chain restaurant. Food is good. Service is very friendly. And it’s a great place to hang out while you wait for your flight. They have lots of big screen tvs.

We had a 3 hr layover in Dallas so time to eat! Headed over to TGIF’s and checked in with hostesses. It would be about a 20 min wait, we were entertained by the hostesses who were not only super friendly, they had us laughing and forgetting about our wait time! Ordered their Jack Daniel burger which was delicious!!! With bacon, cheddar & their signature BBQ whiskey sauce… it hit the spot! Our waiter was fast, friendly and the prices weren’t too bad either for eating at the airport. The only reason I gave it a 4 star vs 5, was because my daughters burger was dry and I ordered salad w/my burger instead of fries. Would definitely go back!!!

I rarely review my airport dining, but I felt compelled to in this case. I’ve been to this TGIF Fridays a few times before and this time was different. It’s like it’s under completely different management. Everyone was extremely helpful and courteous. In fact, I had at least 6 people thank me for coming in on my way out. Beyond the service, the food came out perfectly prepared(I mean for bar food), and quickly. As a frequent traveler this is certainly a bonus and reason to come back.

Great stop off for finger food and just love Fridays appetizers. So to avoid a big meal, got these wonderful pretzel roll corn beef and cheese sliders, and fried green beens. Lexita– our server was great and we got to sit a while waiting for our flight I’m a big believer any franchise restaurant varies by the chef– but I would serve the sliders at a wedding party! They wre perfect!!! Thanks for a good airport food experience. Won’t talk price cause we all know price at airports– but happy! Will be back!!!

We arrived quite early for a flight, my kids and I, so we decided to kill some time at TGI-Friday’s in Terminal E. We ordered the sampler(pick 3) appetizer and a kids chicken strips. It was enough food for all three of us! The kids chicken strips are large and comes with a decent amount of fries for a kid. The sampler, too, has a lot of food for one adult and two kids. I’m not a fan of their new potato skin recipe, I’ll likely not order those again, it seems like they fry the whole thing now so it’s one giant French fry with cheese and bacon on it. My only severe complaint was the cost of my Peach Sangria(white wine, slice of peach, couple juices.) — the flavor is good, but for $ 12 a glass?! No prices were on the menu, it’s definitely NOT worth $ 12; don’t get it. The alcohol content(why else do you order alcoholic beverages?) is very low, and it tastes like peach juice, which is refreshing during summer. They load the wine glass with ice(first ripoff move), then they splash the weak«sangria» on top of it, effectively giving you half a cup of juice for a whopping $ 12. After I paid the bill, I realized we still had tons of time, so I decided to use the handy outlet at our table and charge a few things, so I ordered a dessert(Oreo madness, kids loved it) and a glass of house red wine. At $ 6.75/glass, the house wine was a WAY better value than the sangria. Overall service was decent, the gentleman who took us to our table was excellent, he reminded us to not be late to our gate, too!

There aren’t a whole lot of choices for terminal E. Food wise, I would recommend Dickey’s. But if you have more than 90 minutes to kill, saddle up to Friday’s…because it’s your best option. I actually found the service to be very nice and responsive. Kudos to Julie for that. But, the prices are much higher than norm, and the execution of the food far less. During my last visit a few days ago, I ordered chicken strips and fries. A good portion of chicken, 5 pcs, and a measly amount of fries, 15 or so. The flavor on the chicken was the same as fries, yuck. It had an off taste, likely, bad or heavily used oil. I ate 2 pieces of chicken, and 6 fries… and called it a day. With a pretty large bar, perhaps a Long Island Ice Tea would have been a better choice. Yep. The best of the worst? It’s says alot when multiple DFW airport locations have a 2.5−3.5 star rating. Can you say, management?

This restaurant«is located» in Terminal E by gate E17… it is not 3−½ miles away as Unilocal seems to believe!!! This restaurant has a really fun and lively atmosphere, with a full bar, TV’s all around… a great menu of fantastic foods… flawless service… Perfect!!! Recognizing that this restaurant is located within the airport, one can pretty much expect those coming to eat here are waiting for their plane… perhaps speedy service is expected. I was seated fairly quickly… the waitress(D.D.) was prompt. I ordered an ice tea, the petite top sirloin(medium rare), steamed broccolli, and their tomato mozzarilla salad… oh, and I added a cup of french onion soup to start. My meal was flawless… it arrived at the table quickly, it was hot, very tasty… in fact, very very tasty. If I could offer any suggestions, it would be more of a couple comment’s than anything else… first, even on the plane they provide actual silverware… it is difficult to cut your steak with picnic ware… secondly, not everyone likes A1 sauce, some of us enjoy Heinz 57 steak sauce a tad bit more… but the ketchup did a fine job too. I don’t know when was the last time that I had actually dined at a TGI Fridays… I know that it has been quite some time, and it has never been in an airport anywhere. I’m glad that I did. I liked everything about this restaurant, so perhaps it will now be added to my «small, limited, list of dining establishments»… !!! Good food, quick pace, acceptable prices… I will go back… give em’ a try!!!

When you’re trying to be good and have a Chicken Cobb Salad to go at SFO so you can take it to the gate while waiting. And then find out that they have a dedicated counter for To-Go orders. Very cool. That is unless they are pig-slow and you are late for your flight. The guy after me ordered a burger to go and they were so slow, he had to announce that his flight was boarding before they picked up the pace. He finally got his order before mine and mine was about 20 minutes total. Of course, this was all around 12PM so peak lunch-time. But the salad was good and fresh and I ordered it well ahead of boarding time, so was not too pressed to get it quickly. BUT: if you are close to boarding time, do not press your luck with TGI Friday’s To-Go counter.
