Great service. Sat at bar. Know Stephen Pyle’s reputation and had eaten at the downtown spot — excited I didn’t have to resort to Fuddruckers. Excellent veggie tacos !! Hearty & well made. You know… sometimes a girl just wants a cold Corona Light or a Modelo. Not available here. Unfortunately. The two salsas were killer great. Would have preferred homemade chips instead of Tostito’s though. I would pay extra for that. Worth a visit.

I had the Caesar Salad as shown in the photo and it was fantastic food. Fresh made and came out in under 5 minutes. A great place if you are in a hurry and want great food.

Delicious! Thin and tasty. Nice staff. Had the flatbread pizza, super thin crust as I prefer.

Skip this place! The potato salad had a nasty taste. The waitress asked if I’d prefer something else so I selected Cole slaw. It had no taste and had very little cabbage but lots of peppers. Overpriced to boot.

I had two hours to kill at DFW so I decided to treat myself to a ‘nice’ dinner at Sky Canyon. I ordered the tuna and cilantro ceviche as an appetizer. It had okay flavor but was bathing in a pool of oil and I didn’t taste the cilantro. The entrée I ordered was salmon with green chile hominy. The salmon was burned, bland and lacked any seasoning. The hominy was also bland and had only one or two green chiles. I had to ask for salt and pepper to flavor the food which is something I would never do in a nice restaurant. The hostess did offer to make me another plate but I don’t think that would have solved the problem. I left disappointed and with my wallet $ 60 lighter.

Sky Canyon is located in the DFW airport and offers $ 15.00 Brisket sandwiches that are good I must admit but not worth $ 15! doesn’t come with fries just a sandwich. Now,.that being said the meat is quality and very good sauce and if you do want sides they do have some just not fries. This place offers wine and beverages and neat spot to just chill out until your flight is ready or whatever you are waiting for. Soo will i return… maybe…will just be prepared price wise!

Shame on Mr Pyles. Just because air travelers are a captive audience does not allow one to overlook procedure and quality control. While the service was fine, drinks were tasty, orange refrigerator tasting breakfast potatoes are frankly unacceptable. While this is something which can and will be corrected, D Terminal has many choices to try before returning.

This place is in the newest section of DFW, where I feel the dining options are much better. Ordered the Cobb Salad from here, which I thought would come out quickly. It was a robust salad with thick chunks of chicken. A little too much dressing for my taste and probably should have asked for it on the side. Good place to stop by if you have some time.

This place was pretty quiet, but their breakfast was actually quite impressive. Coffee was very good, and the frittata was fluffy and flavorful. And the service was very friendly and attentive. The price was reasonable, too, especially for a restaurant within an airport.

I am sitting in Sky Canyon near Gate D14 at DFW. I had a cobb. salad and a NZ sauvignon blanc. The service was good. The seating comfortable. The cobb salad was disappointing. the grilled chicken had no texture. It appeared to have been frozen and refrozen. There is no justification for not using fresh grilled chicken.

This is my second time eating here. We actually look forward to drinks and meals here whenever we are flying in or out of DWF airport. It’s a little gem of a place. I like the ceviche and also the brisket tacos. Very good. Nice atmosphere and great service as well.

A cozy(oddly quiet) corner of the D-terminal in Dallas, with your best combo of food, service, and LOCALBEER. While it seems the powers that be at the almighty DFW(Fury Road) seem to have caught on to the cash-power of their local breweries, there still aren’t many options to sample a North Texas brewed beer on your way out of town or during a lay-over. I only had a beer – a gorgeous Mosaic hop IPA from Community Brewery – but it was very pleasing. I skimmed the menu and with offerings like carnitas tacos and ceviche, there’s a little something for everyone. The service was very gregarious and laid back. We all know airports can be cesspools of toxic stress, but when you’re at Sky Canyon you will feel miles away from all that. Charge your phone(the booths on the right of the tiny café have chargers RIGHTUNDERYOURSEAT), have a local pint, watch a game, eat a taco. Whatever you do here, you’re doing it right.

Get their brisket tacos… And a glass of cold Prosecco before you take off… It’s a nice and classy slice of Tex Mex before you head to your destination.

Wanted to try somewhere new in this airport as I travel through DFW often and I was craving a Moscow Mule so I chose the spot first — what a disappointment! First, they serve their Moscow Mules in a glass. When asked if they serve it in a copper mug, the bartender said they will not allow him to have those in the airport. Interesting as the Irish pub I ended up going to does which I knew from previous experience. Next I ordered a Diet Pepsi and Chicken Cob Salad. My drink was served in a can and the chicken was cold and tasteless/rubber like. From the atmosphere and prices on the menu I thought this was a classier place that would serve fountain drinks from the bar and have warm grilled chicken on their salads! The soda tasted awful and had expired in March 2015 as I looked at the expiration date on the bottom. The waitress took it back then returned offering me water instead as they only had expired soda! I had only taken 2 small bites of the salad then told the waitress it tasted awful and this was a poor experience. She offered to return the salad and I left and went to the Irish pub instead. Disappointing experience as I was looking forward to this place based on the look and prices on the menu. I will not eat here again!

Had a couple hour layover and had read about this place so wanted to try it for a late lunch. Was not disappointed. The menu looked so good and I was so hungry that I did not know WHAT to try but I went with the ceviche sampler. OMG! So good, but they should put a «disclaimer» next to the sampler stating it is big enough for two! It comes with tortilla chips, and I could have used more — but oh well. I was so full after eating the three ceviches that when I got home at about 8pm, I only had a salad for dinner. The shrimp ceviche was my least fav out of the three, but the salmon and tuna were excellent and I loved all the different flavors in each one. I also tried a local Dallas beer — Dallas Blonde — and it was really good too! Service was really good as well and I will return the next time I am passing through the Dallas airport with a layover.

Y’all, let’s get down with some Tex-Mex! For being an airport restaurant, I have to give props to Sky Canyon for a unique spin for aerial options. This place is like Tex-Mex meets Indian and it’s surprising naan bad.(Did you see what I did there?) Go with the tomatillo salsa with avocado. Legit! Secondly, the brisket tacos or naan sandwiches are great choices. Lastly, the service is on point. In true Texan fashion, it’s laid back but efficient. Verdict: For airport restaurants, I’m impressed. Yeehaw!

Sick of airport food court experiences? I am. I was so pleased to find myself an hour early for a flight and sitting at the Sky Canyon bar. I knew from previous Stephan Pyles restaurant experiences that I would not be disappointed. Nursing a cold, I decided to get a delicious bowl of their chicken tortilla soup. It was so rich with cilantro and avocado and generous portions of chicken! I left very satisfied. Everything else looked delicious and I hope to find myself at the bar again before another flight in the future. The service was also very friendly and attentive.

Had the pork adobo tacos and apple cobbler while waiting for my next flight. Service was good, attentive and quick. The pork adobo tacos were very good, tasty and light. The portion is just two tacos, so it’s not a lot of food. My only complaint is that the tortilla fell apart because of the salsa, but maybe I put too much salsa. The apple cobbler was excellent, just how I like it. Not too sweet, just apples and a little cinnamon, definitely worth it! Also, big enough to share, but not so big I couldn’t eat it all. For being in the airport, the prices are spot on. It’s not cheap, but the quality is way above regular airport overpriced food. $ 19 + tax and tip.

Interestingly, not bad. Sky Canyon is located in Terminal D, a Stephen Pyles restaurant. While waiting for our flight, we grabbed a seat at the bar. The food is prepared right in front of you as you wait and watch TV or chit chat while sipping on a libation of your choice. We ordered the Chicken Makhani with rice and naan which we initially thought to be a meal for $ 14. The server warned that it was appetizer portion so we just decided to go with that alone to see if passed the taste test. Again, for airport food, it hits the spot if you’re craving Indian. It’s not authentic by any means but definitely worth trying if you’re in the mood for something different. The service was great at the bar and the staff friendly.
