The Brick Dallas

This bar is a great place to relax after a long day and have a drink. They have different daily drink specials everyday, and the bartenders really know how to make a drink. The staff is super friendly and the customers are so welcoming. I will definetly be going back to this bar.

Horrible venue. 30 bucks to see the back of people’s heads. Think it can be better organized. Don’t think I’d come back. It’s no rose room.

Just visited for the first time and happened to coincide with the return of BEARACUDDA to Brick. Had a fantastic time. Strong drinks, friendly sexy gogos, lovely big men, friendly patrons and a HUGE dance floor made me very very happy.

Friendly, classy night club that’s a gathering place for happy hour, special events and a late night dance party. Walk in the door and you’ll be treated with great service and top-​notch entertainment. Try it, you’ll like it :)

This night club is far nicer indoors than I had anticipated. It’s not much from the outside. While my friends and I stuck out like a straight thumb, the patrons were friendly and were very welcoming. No one made us feel out of place. Thoroughly enjoyed the Ida Mae Drag Queen Show with a Twist. Have an open mind and you’ll have a good time here.

This place has been a second home to me for many years now. The owners and the staff have always been very welcoming. I am proud of their involvement in the community and their willingness to always give back. I have seen many staff member get there start here and then take those skills and move to other places and adventures. The selfish part of me is sad when this happens but at the end of the day we always have the Brick and it will always be our home.

I went on a Saturday night. I was expecting something different but ended up with great music, pretty good drinks, and a fun crowd. Bartenders were fantastic. It was great to get away from the typical club music of Dallas. Loud music so expect to dance — too loud for a conversation.
Close to downtown — it’s a $ 6 – 10 Über from Uptown or Downtown. There was a $ 10 cover on a Saturday night.

Since I’ve lived in Dallas (about a year) I’ve tried most of the night spots. Most that I’ve visited have a definite air of arrogance. Not The Brick/Joe’s. This is one if the most chill, unassuming bars I’ve frequented. The bartenders, besides being extremely good looking, are very well versed in tending bar. When asked to make something delicious, I’ve never been disappointed. Unlike most gay bars in Dallas, this place is not inundated with straight girl birthday or bachelorette parties (definite upside). Their monthly Second Saturday or SugarStix Saturday brings the most talented performers from RuPaul’s Drag Race.

My partner and I arrived around 4:30pm on a Friday afternoon to enjoy the Happy Hour. Micah, a great bartender, greeted us as soon as we walked in the door. Three other bartenders soon joined him at the bar where we were sitting. There were seven male dancers around the room. Every where you looked the scenery was quite nice. I recommend this bar for all travelers who want to be treated with true southern hospitality as though you are a regular. I’ll be back and The Brick Bar & Joe’s will be at the top of my list of places to visit while in Dallas.

So. This was new. I think I liked it too. Came to The Brick Bar for a friend of mine’s Bachelorette Party this past Saturday evening and I was forewarned that this was a gay bar. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but consider myself: braced. LOL.
The cover was $ 5 (woop!) but some poor minors in front of me ended up turning around because the cover was $ 20 for minors. HA. Parking was pretty easy, there’s a lot in front of the building that spans across the other businesses that are in the same shopping block (Dickey’s, a sushi place, a pizza joint and some other places I didn’t pay any mind to), so yay for plenty (and free) parking.
The venue is pretty interesting in that it seemed like everything in the place was «VIP» seating/​booths. There were booths along the walls, «private» tables in the center stage area and tables (I think) in the back area behind the open stage. (I didn’t venture around because I didn’t want to be snatched up… lol).
I’m not sure if The Brick is like this every Saturday night but it was like a full program: there was a host & live entertainment. In between the acts the host would crack jokes, heckle the crowd and the DJ would play music. Now, the entertainment took the cake. It was a strip club, drag show and dance off all in one. I mean, you can’t beat that for $ 5! LOL!
I had a pretty good time and enjoyed the show… oh, there is a full bar as well (I needed to be sober for this, so I stayed away) but there were some pretty good drink specials — $ 3 long island ice teas and another special drink as well.

Talk about turnt down this is the place you wanna be a basketball headboard, or a sleepys man las resort. DO NOT ATTEND.

sunday funday block party… it was cool… they had a block party $ 10 to get in… and you got fish or crawfish… yummy! drinks reasonably priced so it was all good… real chill… good shows & music

Awesome place I went on a Saturday night 10 to get in 18 and older to get in. Very clean on the inside. Awesome drinks I was paying 6.75 for Malibu Red and Sprite. The dj was nice music was great crowd was good and well dressed. I had a really good time. I went for a birthday party.

I only come here every so often for poker tournaments. I’ve never been here at night, or for any other events, but it’s a nice bar with great bartenders. The patio is a bit small, but good for smoking, and opens up to the parking lot, so it’s whatever.
The parking is minimal when it’s busy, but that’s no big deal.
Basically, the drinks are good, the people are nice, the bartenders are awesome, the place is moderately clean, and I have a good time playing poker with some gay (and straight) friends!

I love this bar. I came here on a Friday evening for Frisky Fridays. They have an extended happy hour from 6−9pm on Fridays. Our bartender was extremely friendly… I believe her name was Ginda. The go go dancers here are quite entertaining… and since it was happy hour, I thought the $ 3 drinks were awesome. I think it was a nice and fun environment to gaze at some go go dancers.

The Brick & Joe’s is a great place to chill with your boys or Boy or girls… Or whatever you prefer, either way I don’t judge.
I like to come here on Thursday nights when they host an amateur strip night and the Grindr party, basically if you show them your Grindr you get in for free and get more raffle tickets for a chance to win some pretty darn good prices.
Also, Drinks specials change every day of the week but if you’re not sure what the specials are just text their number and they’ll kindly send you a text of what’s happening that day and/​or drinks specials.
On saturday nights they have $ 1 wells from 9−11pm so if your plan includes doing some bar hoping around the neighborhood, then I would suggest to stop by and get some drinks here before you head out to another bar. The bartenders are always fun, especially Joao who is freaking awesome! Joao makes some of the best drinks I’ve had here at the Brick, and he is also pretty funny AND the fact that he is from Sao Paulo, Brazil makes him ten times hotter! As always for me go here for happy hour. (Old prefer to be in bed by 10!) Nice friendly staff (why I followed Kevin here) that are responsive to your requests to change the video through having someone removed from my side (long story — don’t collect 2 legged strays anymore)

Recent renovation makes this place a shiny penny. Clean bar with all the essentials, including dancers. Patio is very small, so if you like who you’re squishing next to, you might have a blast.
