I just learned about Wingfield’s and man was I soooooo behind on this place. These burgers are what burgers are suppose to be, big, hand pressed patties with excellent seasoning cooked to order. Just what you think of when you think of «old fashioned homemade burger». Simple and greasy with awesome fries and lemonade is sooooo great! So please don’t get discouraged but the rough neighborhood and the shack appearance, you will absolutely miss out on one the burgers around.

Man this is one of the most favorite places. The berger & fries are so good it’s the kind of place were you can take the other half of a meal home afterwards. Love this place truly.

One of the best burgers in DFW. it’s been a while since I’ve eaten at Wingfields. The burgers are huge. What is often overlooked is the breakfast menu and the other sandwiches offered. You have to get ready because it’s a lot of food.

Trust me, you can pay more for a burger but it will be difficult to find a better burger at any price. I live in the area and Wingfields is a local treasure. The burgers are BIG, so a single with cheese is enough for me. You can call in your order and pick it up, thereby avoiding the wait outside. I have often seen folks double parked waiting on their orders at lunch time.

Ate here a few months ago on my first trip to Dallas and been fiending for more ever since. I’m a healthy man and couldn’t finish a double in one sitting. The best burger nothing’s topping Wingfield’s. Only advice is call your order in because it gets crowded and really no where to wait for your deliciousness!

Hands down, best burger in town! Call ahead to order, or be prepared to wait 15 min or so. First time in there, and will go back when I’m craving a cheeseburger.

Whenever I’m in a mood for beef and pure gluttony, it’s on! These are the biggest burgers I have ever seen… and I don’t see how anyone can do a double or triple in one setting. Love the local hole in the walls!!!

I have no idea why this place is so popular and is rated so high. This burger was very disappointing. It is way too much meat for a burger. I do not see how anyone could get the double patty. The fries were horrible as well! This place is definitely a no go on my list.

Taking a bite of this bigass grease bomb, expect mayonnaise in your eyebrows. You won’t understand why the bag is so oddly weighty til you unwrap the beast, and then you’ll laugh out loud at the first sight of this impossible burger. I’m the fattest person in all of Oak Cliff and could only eat half before I hurt myself. The good news is I made a few salads and a pot of spaghetti with the leftovers and saved on groceries that week.

Best. Burger. Ever. The fries are unremarkable, but the onion rings are great! Call ahead if you don’t want to wait. It’s standing room and take out only. Very limited parking and not the most savory part of town. Who cares? Best. Burger. Ever.

Thick deep fried bacon on Texas Toast, crowned with a cup of fresh lettuce and 2 slices of tomato… delicious brunch, not too heavy.

This is one of the locations that you would call a hole in the wall. However the Burgers are to Die for! The are very Huge and the meat is very good. It always goes well with my digestive system. I can never eat the whole Burger. Don’t even try to add bacon to it. It’s like they use a whole pack of bacon and it is very thick! Hands down this place is better than most chain burger joints around town. It stays packed so it’s best to call in for quicker service. Parking can be a challenge but it is well worth the juicy delicious Burger!

Hometown signature restaurant. Never disappointed. Screw the paleo, low calorie diet. Perfect for cheat day. I’ll spend an extra 40 minutes of cardio but it’s always worth it.

OK so I’ve totally fallen off the Burger wagon the last few years and have been all about«no red meat», only Turkey burgers. But I suddenly thought I’d try a regular Burger and distinctly remembered that Wingfields use to be a place my friends liked to go. So I venture to the side of town and pull up to the tiny place with standing room only and order my cheeseburger well done.(Regardless of the tenderness of a medium well, I don’t want my cow mooing at ALL when I take a bite) After about 20 min of waiting, I received my burger and fries and proceed to take it back to my truck where the smell of my sandwich was taking over. I attempt to take a bite and realize that the burger to mouth ratio was a little off. The meat is just too thick for my preference. It’s really a BIG Burger. The bun was toasted and yummy but I just couldn’t bring myself to finish it. The fries were average but one does not come for the sides… Not to take anything from the taste itself, I just don’t think my body was ready for such a greasy sandwich. If you are looking for a big burger with a great taste, try wingfield out.

My favorite burger spot of ALLTIMES! This place is order and go. Please call ahead, if not you will have to wait. They have WONDERFUL lemonade and onion rings. This place is small, so if you don’t like to be bump or accidentally stepped on this isn’t the place for you. In my book all the wait and battery is worth every bite of that burger. THANKS, MR. RICHARDFORKEEPINGTHEQUALITYTHESAME… NEVER A BADBURGER!

It is decent! I think the size and the fact that it is native to Dallas makes this a hit not so much taste or service for that matter. Not sure why they charge an additional $ 1.75 for the lemonade without ice but it is still good. Prices are on the high side. Hopdoddy is cheaper and tastier than this restaurant, it is a lot nicer inside with wait staff, plus you can dine in at Hopdoddy. If I am in the area and craving sweet homemade lemonade with a huge burger with greasy onion rings that stain the white bag it is served in, it is not a bad place to go. It would be great if they had later hours, offered drive-thru, expanded their restaurant to make it dine in and revamped their look and got a better A/C unit(it is HOT in there), seasoned their burger meat a little more and offered friendlier service that organized the chaotic line that crowds the entrance.

My fiancé loves burgers. And when I say loves burgers, I mean, drive to the southside of Dallas to try a random hole in the wall place that he heard about from his co-workers, loves hamburgers. I wasn’t ready for the Wingfield’s experience but I actually enjoyed it. It’s definitely a little mom and pop shop that has grown by word-of-mouth about it’s notoriously huge hamburgers. Don’t expect a place where you can come in and sit down and enjoy your hamburger(because trust me, you’re going to need SPACE to tackle this big boy), Wingfield’s is as big as my kitchen. If more than three people are in there, you’re sweating because it’s hot and you’re rubbing shoulders with the next person lol. It’s definitely a grab and go, call your order in and pick it up type of place(we didn’t call in this time because we didn’t know what kind of menu was offered). On to the burger — It was literally as big as my face. Like, when I opened my mouth to bite it, my jaw popped out of place(it didn’t), but it could have. But it was good ya’ll. The meat was big and juicy… and the bacon. Ohhhh the bacon. It was real, thick and crispy. *holds hands up in praise* yeeeesssssssss. I couldn’t finish the whole thing. I think I might have struggled to eat half of it, if that. It was massive. I think one burger could feed a small village. They’re that big. Lastly: they DONOTTAKECREDITCARDS. Bring cash. You’ll need at least $ 20 for two people. And expect to wait at least 20 — 30 minutes depending on how many orders are in front of yours. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

I GOTSTHE –ITIS! Lord up in heaven that burger was good. Okay, so lets get to the nitty-gritty. If you are on a diet or like eating super healthy, why in God’s name are you at a greasy spoon? This location has been there forever and there is a reason that they are an Oak Cliff staple. The sheer size of the burger is the first thing that you will notice. Get a double or a triple at your own peril. The burgers are juicy, greasy, well-seasoned goodness, and I had the audacity to get bacon which was thick cut, cooked perfectly, and there was lots of it. I honestly never have been able to eat one of their burgers with my hands because it is so massive. I always grab a knife and a fork. Add a size of fries(they are old school crinkle cut), and a lemonade and you are set to get full as a tick and as sleepy as the 4th Dwarf in Snow White. Honestly, this whole review may be incoherent because I am fighting the –itis at work RIGHTNOW. I am one step frommmmmmmm… zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
