Disappointed. I recently relocated from CA and saw with excitement a sign stating HONEYPIG above the restaurant sign. Expecting an actual honey pig experience, I was sorely disappointed that the restaurant was only honey pig in name. When I entered the establishment, we were literallly the only ones there. Keep in mind this was at prime dinner time. There were no round grills. Only normal table grills. No Kim chi on the grill. Waitress looking at me like I had a third eye when I asked if they had dukk for wrapping. Unless they actually make this into a honey pig grill, I foresee bankruptcy in their future. Honey Pig proprietors, get your act together.

Food was delicious! Service was not very friendly or attentive. They do not prepare Korean barbecue at the table. I was the only patrons in the restaurant on a Monday at 5:30PM. Lots of choices around this area, so I will probably not come back

Located in the strip mall next to You Chun noodle lies this lonely place. Lonely as in it’s the only store that is somewhat active or running. Came here as a second choice but I’ve been curious about this place. They don’t specialize in anything nor do they have a superb dish to recommend. I got the galbi tang(soup), it was a huge portion and it seemed kinda plain but as I was digging for goodies I noticed it had quiet a few pcs of beef inside. The soup itself didn’t taste like it had msg. The other menus ordered at my table were dwen jang(fermented soy bean) bi bim bap, regular bi bim bap, dol sot(hot stone) bi bim bap, and spicy seafood bi bim bap. Of these I personally liked the spicy seafood bibimbap. I noticed on their menu they also had«country lunch plate» which is soup, fish, and other stuff. That is on my list to try! The price was not so bad same as other restaurants.

Come here with family it’s especially good for breaking people in who aren’t open minded to chicken gizzard and those sorts of things.

I really like this place, the price value point is GREAT ! They have a really good $ 7 lunch special with over 15 things to choose from. My favorite is #18 ! I have taken many friends, family members and all have enjoyed. The ladies are always sweet, however be warned… word has spread and it get’s a bit busy for lunch. In other words, if you only have 30 minutes to eat you may want to go somewhere else(jack in the box?). If you are looking for great food at a great price, come here.

It’s In the Korean section of town over off of 35 and Royal. My waitress was very nice but didn’t speak much English it seemed like. You have to point to what you want basically, unless you know how to read and speak Korean. The food was great and very flavorful. You get 5 or 6 different little side servings to go with the meal. They have an inexpensive lunch menu, I got out of there for less than $ 10. All around a pleasant experience.

The first time we went, my husband and I ordered just one dish, the fried rice with chicken. It’s very delicious and it has plenty of fresh ground black pepper in it, which makes it great. Even tho we only ordered one dish, the waitress was very nice and gave us side entrées for both of us, and she brought us another set of it, once we told her how much we loved it. The service was great the first time around. We went back last night again because we were craving the fried rice. I service wasn’t as tip top like last time, but it was still good. This waitress was a bit slow. But she was still nice. We ordered the fried rice and the soft tofu soup with only shrimp. It’s supposed to come with seafood(mussels, shrimp, etc), but gave me only shrimp since I didn’t like the other stuff. The fried rice didn’t live up to it’s expectations, but the tofu soup was amazing. definitely will go back again!

This is a great home cooked korean restaurant. They always serve a variety of side dishes with free soup. Their fish combination dish is delicious and is enough for two people for $ 15. The decent pricing combined with the large quantities of food is well worth it. The owner and people there are really nice and are always gracious enough to give extra on the side dishes without being scolded or looked down upon.

Met up with Diana J for lunch. Like she said in her earlier review, the place is cute and lunch is flat $ 7. We both had dolsot bibimbap(mixed rice in a stone bowl), came with panchan and soup. The people are nice and the food was decent, but not amazing. I liked their kimchi, but the other side dishes were nothing special. Definitely good for an affordable lunch if you are in the area, but don’t go out of your way.

If you want good Korean food or decent enough for a first time try, you have to know whats on the menu and the groupings of each category to find a sense of whose cooking back there because if its like this place where I ended up at where I experienced a unusual taste of Korean Food. Sigh** I will make this short and just let you know the traditional Korean dish I tried and its the Kim chi jigae and taking a close observance to my spicy cabbage soup to the the little side en-trees, I’ve come to the conclusion that even the Bar food places in the so called Asian district we call Korea-town sell more praiseworthy deserving food. I mean who puts mushrooms in a spicy cabbage soup? This gives the soup a weird mushy taste to my palate and I was quite disturbed. I apologize this wasn’t to a decent standard my Unilocaler friend, but I will have to disown my culture of culinary in the Dallas region because of this horrendous torture I’ve done to my palate and my life… I can still taste the mushrooms, shrugs** Seriously no more Korean food.
