Hardee’s

Edit: Well, times change I guess. The food here is still my guilty pleasure, and it’s still clean, but the last few mornings the crew has been… well…lets just say it’s not the old crew. Still great biscuits, though, and the best coffee IMHO. Just use the drive-​thru. :/

Their chili dogs have way more flavor than the ones at Burger King but the last two I got were both burned black at one end. That never happened to me before in the 30+ years I have been going here. Years ago they would forget to put the chili and onions on the dogs but they don’t do that anymore. I no longer get «burgers» here because some are more like some sort of cheap meat loaf. As they get worse the less I go. There are too many better places. They are like a lot of other hamburg joints: one thing at a time in slooooow motion. At least they give you a number instead of asking for your name. Remember fast food? They don’t! They think they are some sort of special place but they aren’t.

Hardee’s is a real pain the way they make you wait and wait for your food. I’m not sure which fast food place started the hand made one at a time good idea but it sucks! I ordered two chili dogs and it took them forever to make them. There was only two of us inside and no more than three customers went through the drive in. The assistant manager kept yelling at the sandwich makers to hurry up and they just ignored her. How long can it possibly take to make two chili dogs? I thought I was going to die waiting. Their burgers are terrible. They no longer make good ham and cheese or roast beef sandwiches so chili dogs are the only thing they can’t screw up unless they forget the chili sauce and onions which happens quite often (how stupid do you have to be to do that?).
