Clean X-Press

I used to come here all the time, I liked this place, it’s clean and near everything… BUT what i dont like is how expensive the dryers are, used to be $.25 for 6 minutes for the big dryers, now they changed it to $.25 for 4 minutes?! and even if i put 10 quarters, my clothes are not guaranteed to be dried so, moved to westlake $.25 for 10 minutes! 20 minutes — 2 $.25 my clothes are dry!

The coins need to be removed from the machines more often. I have come here twice and all of the larger machines could not be used because they were full!

Outdated. The machines itself do not show the time left until when laundry is done. It is a little cheaper than the usual laundromat I go to, but I would rather to go the more expensive due to more quality/​cleanliness. Will not be coming back

Love this laundromat cuz they have huge washers that I can get all my laundry done in 1 or 2 loads. They have 20, 35, and 50 lb loaders I believe. Love that there’s a good amount so I never really have to wait. Only gripe is that for a laundromat that can take on so many customers at once, there’s only 3 seats, lol. –_​– Other than that, workers are super nice too. They keep the TV on the Filipino channel, which I don’t mind, but I watched a Spanish-​speaking family give each other «wtf» looks, but what can they expect from a mom-&-pop shop based in Daly City?!

Nothing to complaint beside me doing laundry. But one think I dont understand why people gotta hog carts. if u still washing let the next person use it.

Located in between Verizon & Boston Market, fairly clean facility with a bathroom. Two TVs (one on sports and another on a channel from the Philippines). One Pepsi machine and a snack machine with very limited selections. Only three chairs in the front unfortunately, however, there’s plenty of folding space in the back if the two front tables are in use. Two quarter machines available for change and an ATM machine for cash (though there is a Chase a couple of doors down). There’s a friendly attendant who sweeps and helps you when there’s an issue.

I’m no longer victim to laundromat usage thanks to my recent relocation, however, I would like to endorse Clean X-​Press Daly City as my go-​to spot pre-​move.
I was a frequent customer for eight months and would spend hours at a time here just waiting for my laundry to be completed. Thankfully, everything Clean X-​Press has going for it made this process as painless as possible:
1. Clean Machines and Facility — Machines were always in top shape, clean, and available. The best time to go is early morning, especially on a weekend, to avoid the lunch time rush. That extra hour really does make a difference. The storefront as a whole was also maintained well.
2. Affordable Rates — I’m not mad at a $ 1.75 wash or a $ 0.25÷6 min. drying session. Obviously, if you use the bigger volume machines, they cost more. I think the most was $ 10 for the super size. They also have bill changers on site — yay!
3. Attentive employees — The workers there are always friendly and appreciative of your patronage. They respond to issues quickly and promptly.
4. Convenience — Clean X-​Press is located right off Gellert and is easily accessible. Parking is never an issue.
Thanks to Clean X-​Press for making my laundromat experiences tolerable! You guys were wonderful and I hope I’ll never have to see you again (not in a bad way, of course)!

There were no other dryers available for me to use ‘cept a top one.
I was able to put all my clothes in — no problem. Just tossed em in.
Getting them out though… -.- Posed a problem.
I couldn’t reach all the way in.
I was already tippy-​toeing.
I was already making «ughhhhh!» stretchy arm noises trying to reach in as far as I could.
I already tried jumping up and forward, but my breastesis took the heat for that move.
And when I WAS able to grab something from a jump, the force was so strong that when I was coming back down, I ended up flinging the piece behind me and across the laundry mat right onto an elderly man’s chest.
I don’t even think he realized my sock (right, my «sock») was on his chest until I walked up to him, apologized, and took it off.
I think he was asleep.
Other than that, the laundry mat is great. Clean.
Machines work and all that.
Nice workers who remember you from last time.
Not one of those joints that change your dollars into «tokens» that will only work for their machines.

I would like to give myself 1 star for being short.

Wow! What a change this place has made! This place really has made some MAJOR improvements lately due to new ownership. It’s SUPER clean, the attendants are nice and helpful, it has a restroom that’s available to customers, there are TVs for entertainment, and cheap dry cleaning. Wash and fold at $.99 a pound is a great deal! Prices are very reasonable and there is always a ton of parking.
Make sure to fill out a raffle slip to WIN FREE GIANTS TICKETS!!! The drawing is held twice a month, so make sure to get in there!

Dropped my clothes off on Friday afernoon and they were ready first thing Monday morning. I love the nice clean seams on my trousers, none of that double seam stuff, that you often get at the dry cleaners. Nice staff!

I would give this place a zero, but there isn’t the option. My husband and I went here only once and it was the last. The time our clothes were ready to be picked up from the dryer, our clothes were already taken out by someone and put into a basket. SEVERAL of our shirts were gone and stolen. How ghetto is that? People were hand picking through our stuff within seconds. And the lady working behind the dry cleaning window didn’t do anything. What are the cameras for? I think to prevent stealing should be one of the answers. There isn’t enough room to wait in the laundromat for the clothes either so outside in the car was the only place to stay. There are only a few seats by the window. If you go here, just be prepared to leave with less of your clothes with the compliments of thieves. This was the absolute worst laundromat I have been to in my life.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR DRY CLEANING! I never take the time to leave reviews, but this place was so horrible that I had to. I wanted to get one small, womens coat dry cleaned and the woman told me that the machines broken and it would take two days longer. I said no problem! SHE LIED! I came in the day it was «supposed to be ready»…not ready. She called me the next day… not ready. And the next day, and the next day. A week later she wouldn’t answer my calls so I drove over there again, AND IT WASN’T READY! I still do not have my peacoat back. There are so many wonderful, cheap places in SF, DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!

The place and more importantly, the machines are fairly clean. Not much can be said about the grouchy female attendant who gave us an attitude when we told her that one of the dryers did not have any heat (we were refunded), thus we ended up spending an additional 30+ minutes drying our clothes all over again! Make sure to inform her about faulty machines and be sure to get a refund, otherwise, she won’t give a crap about even putting an «out of order» sign on them!

I usually liken laundromats to grungy looking folks and machines which are half working or out of order. This place, glamorous by no means, is awesome. We had a few loads to do and our shared apartment laundry room was full so we took our stuff to this place. Large load washers and excellent dryers kept us there for little more than an hour.
Will definitely be coming back here when we have a large amount of laundry to do.
