One night, I was freaking out because I had so much homework to do and I needed to do some laundry because I haven’t done laundry in about 3 – 4 weeks and I needed clean work clothes. I kept re-wearing my work clothes and trust me, you only want to do that a few times before it starts smelling(gross, I know). I was frantically looking for a laundromat and I was complaining to my roommate that I really needed to do laundry and that my boyfriend forgot to take me once again to do our laundry together. She was so nice enough to drive me to this laundromat because 1. it’s open until midnight and 2. there’s free Wi-Fi. Who doesn’t like that?! When I arrived here with my roommate, it was pretty easy to find parking because there’s a small parking lot. Just be careful because some of the parking spots have time limits on them. This laundromat is a fairly decent size and the best thing about it is that YOUDON’T HAVETOBRINGQUARTERSATALL. There’s this card that has this security chip for you to use, so you can automatically just reload the cards using your debt/credit card or cash. The card itself costs $ 2 and if you’re scared of using your debt/credit card to reload your card, there is an ATM near the entrance for you to use. For a single load, it costs around $ 2.50, for 4 loads, it costs around $ 4.50−5.00? and the bigger ones for 5−7+ loads, it costs around $ 6.00. Drying is around $ 0.25 for around 6 – 8 minutes I believe? I thought that this was the CHEAPEST place to wash your clothes(drying wise, I kinda don’t remember the rates of other laundromats). If you compare the prices to Westlake, It’s WAY cheaper. Also, in the day time, this laundromat has a little café, so that you can get a sandwich or a smoothie while you’re washing your laundry. Also, there are TVs around the building that you can watch while you’re waiting. **ANOTHERPLUS, this is part of a plaza, so there are other food places around you + a 7 – 11 near by! I’ll definitely be back again to do my laundry here!

I have been here 5 times already, and at first I thought it was my fault that one employee there is so rude to me. First of all, I cannot speak Spanish. For some reason, this offended one of the workers there(he does a good job cleaning, so I would give 2 stars). Let me tell you that this guy has no boundaries. This is the last time I’m going there because of said lack of boundaries. 1) I do understand Spanish(completely) but suck at speaking it. Alright, that is my fault, but you didn’t have to literally talk about that flaw behind my back about it. 2) I’m pretty shy so I don’t like talking in general. 3) I have school and work and I’m so dang tired, however I appreciated the wifi in order to get my homework done. Thank you. This is one of the main reasons I keep to myself. 4) Whenever I moved somewhere, he was always moving towards me and touching my little basket. This has been done so many times that I just chalked it up to my own fault, again. Then it happened: he opens my dryer. I’m done. My clothes were in there dude. So I am not coming back here again, even if you have good sandwiches and wifi. I took a picture of one moment where he invaded my personal space, yet again. Idk. I feel horrible.

Such a great idea to have a laundry mat and café! Also the cash card is so much easier than carrying a handful of quarters. Wish they kept it a little cleaner(floors, benches, tables) since they get a lot of traffic.

We have been using Sam’s Laundry for several years now. It is clean, kept in working repair, has amenities and is open early and late. I have found no fault at all with this business. It is a business I am glad to see established. Linda L.

I’ve been going to Sam’s Laundromat for over 3 years now. I have a large family and I do quite a bit of washing, at least once a week, sometimes twice a wk. I’ve been to a few places around Daly City and SF. This laundromat rocks!!! The family and friends I’ve recommended are now regulars. I love the card system, as oppose to using coins, which allows you to reload with a debit/credit card. Saves me a trip to the bank. Clean machines. Let me tell you why that’s important. As I’ve mentioned, I’ve gone to A LOT of laundry mats. It’s super gross to see MOLD(those black things you see around the soap dispenser). I’ve yet to see any here. The price is affordable. I love the extra wash feature for 25 cents more. You don’t really need the extra wash though… let’s just say, you cldnt tell there is a drought by the amount of water the machine uses to wash your clothes(granted you don’t over stuff it of course). My clothes comes out feeling and smelling clean the way it’s suppose to. That my friends is the main reason why I started coming here. Sam, the owner, hasn’t stopped improving & updating this place. Last month, Sam gave the place a fresh new paint job. Looks great by the way!!! Before that, additional outdoor seating area. Months bfor, he lowered some tables and added benches for ppl to be able to sit and fold. Then, he added a latch to the door so it’ll stay open. Just to name a few. I’m telling you, this guy cares for his customers. He looks for ways to make it better for his patrons. Did I mention FREEWIFI? Speaking of free, last December, Sam was randomly handing out free $ 25 laundry gift cards. He said. «Its not much, but I wanted to say thanks for your business»…I was like… Whaaaaaat!!! Like I said… great place to do laundry… and the deli makes delicious sandwiches too.

I started coming to Sam’s when I moved to Daly City, so for about 9 months. I don’t have much experience with laundromats, so I didn’t have anything to compare it to. After months of my weekly Sunday visit, I grew more and more weary of it. I found that often times stains on my clothes, that in any other situation would have come out in the wash, didn’t. My clothes just didn’t seem clean. Also, the facility isn’t well maintained and there were times where the driers have been broken or I used them for a full cycle to find out that the heat hadn’t been working, which takes up more money and more time I don’t want to spend at the laundromat. Also, their driers are $.25 per 7 minutes. Now that I’ve made a switch to place with cheaper driers, cleaner and better machines, I wonder why I «cleaned» my clothes there for so long. Two stars for the fact that the deli attached is mediocre and the people that work there are super sweet.

This is my 3rd time to washed my clothes here. At first I find it convinient the fact that they’re open until midnight, it sure does clean and wash my clothes. So I’m grateful but my only concerned is the staff… thinking that I guess the owner should teach their staff the proper way to asked people to moved or be aware that people’s around that will surely inhale the dust! He is wearing a masked in his face but doesn’t care about the people around him! Plus the fact that he doesn’t speak English so its difficult to make him understand that«hey, could you please wait until were done to vacuum the dust. After all we are paying customers. I like the equipment but don’t like the staff… so my review is based on customer service! It sucks! Not healthy wise!!! if only I can post this without giving a star I would!!! P.S That’s the one next too Daly City market!

Tried coming to this place to wash my clothes and it was only 11 o’clock and some dude came out saying they were closed without any reasonable explanation. If your placed is open from 6am till midnight, then close at MIDNIGHT! False advertisement!

A laundry mat that allows you to use debit instead of coins. I never can estimate how much my laundry is going to cost because I normally live in places with washer and dryers so this is a life saver! I came on a Sunday at 9 and it wasn’t too packed it started to fill up around 1030 but there were still plenty of machines available. They have a full café so that’s great especially because I forgot my soap and I could buy a whole bottle of liquid and not those weird powder packs lol. Hate doing laundry but when I’m forced to do it this is a cool place to come to! The place was also ran which made me feel like my cloths were actually being cleaned in there machines

Sam’s laundry and attached deli opens promptly at 6am but with a small army of patrons ready to use its services. The place is clean with an adequate number of washers(various sizes) and driers($ 0.25 for 7 minutes). It took about $ 1.00÷28 minutes to dry a medium load of white towels. This is not a coin laundry in that your money is loaded onto a debit card. Note you will need exactly $ 2.00 to initially purchase the debit card(refundable). Then load what you think you will need to finish your wash and dry. Plenty if rolling laundry carts available for transferring your laundry around. Laundry soap and other supplies available for purchase in the attached deli. Attendant was extremely helpful, especially to this out of towner, thus warranting the Five star rating. Bathroom was clean and adequate.

Very clean laundry facility but the dryers suck. For a 24 minute wash your clothes still feel wet. Located in a convenient area and across the street from 7 – 11. The police station is around the corner as well. Sometimes the owner comes by to clean and he’s very nice and approachable. :)
