This store has a very helpful & honest worker! Her name is Veronica! I went to purchase some hats for my hubby & I forgot my change. That same day she calls me back that I forgot my change! Not a lot of people do this! I will continue to purchase my hubby & kids hat here!!! This place Rocks! Good honest people are hard to find! Thank God for her & having a membership with my phone number :)

MUSTREAD! Even if this is the only part you read on my review. You all should know this. Be careful. If you buy a hat here, and they ask you if you want the special protectant spray, they will charge you an added $ 1. I know it’s not much, but they try to pretend it’s complementary. I’ve had it happen to me before, and did not notice it till the second time I bought a hat here. So BECAREFUL… Both girls seemed nice. They REALLY do not want you to mess up their hat size order though. Anytime I started to look through the hats, the girl with the buzz cut and pony tail would come over and ask me «what size I was looking for.» At first I thought she was just showing good customer service, but then she would leave me and do the same thing to someone else who was about to look through all the hats. She made sure I did not sift through the hats about three times. haha That’s when I realized they do NOT want you to mess up their hat size order. I was ready to pay, and that’s when I noticed girl with the buzz cut and pony tail charge me extra for the protectant spray, which I think doesn’t even do anything in the first place. She then tried to get me to sign up for some hat club member card where you get discounts and offers, but I said«no it’s okay.» But she kept pushing for it… And I had to tell her 3 times«no I’m good.» And THAT’s when I saw her roll her eyes at me… Terrible… It’s JUST A MEMBERCARD! I don’t want it!

This is one of the few spots I buy hats from. They have a decent selection and their staff is super helpful. Every time I stop by, I usually buy a hat. I’m not sure if I have a small head or business is slow, but they always have my size in whatever style I like. The store is a bit tiny and cramped, as others mentioned, but most hat stores I’ve been to around the SF/DC area are about the same size. If you’re an avid hat buyer, you should opt for the membership card. It’s a one time fee and you get special discount from the usual retail prices of the hats. The thing I like about it is that it’s a one time fee, not a yearly membership fee like Lids. The only con is that their website advertises a lot more styles and colors than what they have in store. This is expected as it is a small store and people usually purchase regular colors/styles. Overall, a great place to get hats!

Great selection of hats, it does get a bit packed depending what time of day you go. Good customer service NIca is great. Too badd the hats still pricy even with the 20% off still comes out to $ 30, overall its a cool store.

No good. Tiny, cramped space and pretty limited selection. Staff was OK but the clientele sucks. A group of sketchy dudes came in reeking of blunts demanding that they get cash back for some clearly used hats that they had no receipts for. Couldn’t find the hat I was looking for and couldn’t really get help from staff because of the no-receipt-guys. Not really the staff or stores fault I guess but when you cater to a certain clientele you alienate other potential customers. Concord location is much better.

This location and in Concord are the ones I’ve scored a jackpot in regards to the hats I’m looking for. Excellent service and this is one of the reasons I look forward to heading to SF whenever I have the chance

Only because they had the hat that two Giants Dugout stores didn’t have. Large selection. Large quantities.

I come here to get hats occasionally. Great service! I think the guy that helped me out finding a particular hat was named Kevin. Thanks man! Keep it up!

This is the only place I know that sells Pinoy hats, thus the reason I patronize the place. The rest of the selection is mediocre at best. I was interested in buying a discontinued hat as a gift, but the product was missing the size sticker and had stitching missing on the back(obviously been tried on several times). The female staff on duty that day said that she could not sell it at discount despite the defects. WTF! Who the hell is going to buy a defective product! Talk about bad business practice!

It’s always awkward here. The space is limited and the clerk is right behind you when you are browsing at the hats. Customer service is pretty much hit or miss as is the sizing. There is usually an MLB section, alternative MLB, and a full on SF/OAK section with a plethora of colors. Selection is decent and gets rolled over fairly quickly. I have the membership which gives me the lowered price and I am always a sucker for the dollar spray on. But it always seems as if nobody here wants my business. Very odd. Are they not aware that Sports City is in the same building as they are?

Pricey hats, but a pretty good selection. If you don’t wanna pay an arm and a leg for every hat, you need a membership to the Hat Club which is a one time fee of $ 5 bucks and after that, every hat you get is like 10% off or something like that, which makes it worth it if you buy enough hats I guess. Why do I know this? I just bought two hats and the membership I purchased made it cheaper… lol Not too bad though, great for the urban crowd. Holler-lujah

I usually stop by here when I’m at Serramonte to look at the hats and everytime I come here, they don’t have what I need. Apparently they do not keep any stock in the back as I’m always told that what you see is what you get. It gets kind of frustrating that EVERYTIME i come here, they don’t have what I’m looking for. I guess each time I come here I hold out hope that one day it will be there. The workers here do seem friendly but I think its a prerequisite to work here is to act thuggish and to wear a cap sideways or backward. Also you must wear some type of hip hop clothing or they’ll send you home for the day. Points for easy location and a decent selection of hats. Just not the ones I’m looking for.

How come every time my boyfriend wants to get a hat – he can never find the one he wants from here? It’s a conspiracy? Why are the guys that work here act all tough when you ask them a question? Less gansta and more friendliness, please!!!
