Starbucks

Things don’t change. Service is horrible. Staff too busy chit chatting with coworkers then giving customer service. No good energy from here. I remember why I stopped coming here.

I love this location! The cashier Celeste was absolutely helpful on helping me pick out my drink and totally understood my lack of dairy! She rocks!

The baristas are fast, and accommodating, and neutral. For that, I give one star. Someone had took my drink and they were nice enough to provide me with another– Strawberry acai with soy milk (they ran out of coconut milk). However, the baristas had just noticed me after standing there for a good solid minute.
The cashier– the person who was taking my order was oblivious– rude, didn’t feel as if she was paying attention to my order because I had to repeat multiple times. I didn’t take a glance at her name but she was squinty, white, and tall. Although this does not sound accurate, you will recognize her, as her service and features will match my provided description. I was wondering why the people in front of me were taking awhile to order– because of the cashier’s lack of attention to the customer’s orders.
There’s a Starbucks in target that is more attentive and friendly to customers, go to that one instead, the wait is worth it and will probably be shorter this one– as the particular cashier will make a 3 people line a 5 minute wait for order.

I didn’t think this Starbucks location could get any worse, but today, it did.
Who serves iced coffee with coffee grounds included? They do!

Usually there are baristas here that are nice, or just even neutral (not too friendly, but not rude). I usually don’t mind coming to this Starbucks location but the baristas on this one particular shift were rude. There’s this barista here, Jessie (she has a nose piercing), who seriously did not look like she wanted to be there. When I came in, there was no line. So I was standing somewhat near to the counter waiting if anyone can take my order. I just looked stupid standing there while the girls were just walking around. The one who takes orders, Jessie, was cleaning or pretending to do something else.
When she finally took my order, she had such a dead tone in her voice and seemed like taking customers’ orders was such a nuisance for her. She did not even look at me. When I was paying, the scanner beeped but I didn’t go through. I didn’t know it didn’t go through, and instead of telling me, she instead started talking to her coworker. So we stood there for a couple moments until I asked her if it went through or not. After I paid, she didn’t even say anything. She didn’t say «thank you», or «that’s it», or even a «bye» would let me know that the transaction was done.
This branch should teach some of their baristas customer service. Until then, I’d rather go to the Starbucks in Colma.

#28 My go-​to Starbucks. Although I’d get 5% off at the Starbucks located inside of Target, its still fairly new and the workers there are alright.
Everyone here is really sweet. No one’s ever been rude to me, nor have I ever sensed any annoyance amongst the workers. Even during the early hours. This could probably be because they get a lot of elderly customers in the morning, so patience and being friendly is an essential.
My drinks are not always perfect. I ask for extra hot and it isnt or there isnt enough chocolate in my mocha, etc. However, if I have the time to ask them to remake it, they would do so without hesitation.
Wait time average is about 5 mins. I usually stop by around 10am.

I am a regular Starbucks customer at various locations BUT I just had to write a review about this one in particular. I’m not sure if this location has updated their staff since I have been here last but I was truly impressed. The male cashier helping my mom, sister and myself was extremely nice! He gave his opinion on all of these different sandwiches and genuinely wanted to help us out. I feel like most of the time when I ask questions at the cash register they get frustrated but he wasn’t! (so sweet!) We received our drinks very quickly but noticed they forgot about our sandwich. When I mentioned it to the barista she was apologetic and immediately gave me a «next drink on me card»! The last Starbucks I was at and they forgot my sandwich all I received was a dirty look. I was so taken back about the GREAT customer service here. I wish I got their names so I could shout them out. Keep it up!
All Starbucks locations should take care of their customers like this!

My favorite Starbucks! Out of all the Starbucks I go to my drink tastes perfect here! Also, the workers are very polite!

I come to this Starbucks every time I have a morning shift. And as a regular, there are a few employees that recognize me. Three girls that know me by face are always so nice and they almost always recognize my drink. Lately, I see Carlo every morning when I go and after two visits he remembers my name!
My usual order is a Grande iced white mocha w/​no whip. I’d rather have that instead of just plain coffee. This place usually gets real packed in the morning.
I do highly recommend ordering your order through the Starbucks app!!! When I see the line go out the door i just order through the app and my drink is ready in less than 5 minutes. No joke! Since i work in the mall, i dont have the time during my break to wait the long line so I just order through the app and i’m out the door!

I just discovered this Starbucks in the morning and LOVE LOVE LOVE it! The ladies who work in the morning are truly delightful and customer service is top notch!!! It is a treat to go there every morning and be greeted with big smiles and positive energy!

I went to this location today for a coffee and I was very upset by the service I got. I wish I would have got the names of the two girls who gave me a hard time, messed up my drink twice, and charged me twice for the same order.

This is the only Starbucks inside the mall. Lines are long, but if there was a Peets then 70% would most likely go there instead. I know I would, even with my gold card.

Starbucks is always my to go place to start off my day with a drink! I always get good vibes and greetings from friendly workers. However, whenever I go to this branch it always gives me bad vibes. However, I always come back for bc of convenience and giving it another chance. Not only are some of the workers and baristas rude, they also can’t make a simple sweetened vanilla ice coffee with soy and light ice correctly. This has happened to me 3 times already bc either the cup was ¾ ice when I said light ice or they forgot to replace milk with soy and gave me a stomache. and every time I ask nicely if they can remake my drink they give such a nasty attitude.
I recommend going to the Starbucks 3 minutes away in Target in Colma instead.

I’ve been here a few times and had good service, but today Vanessa went above and beyond. She’s extra friendly, really personable and seemed to be enjoying her day even though it’s early. Thank you!

It’s hot day I asked for a cup of ice water and the guy working here refused to give it to me. Yet I see other customers with cups of ice water sitting across from me! Not a fair policy!

Came here to get a drink and to use their wifi for some work.
They have more tables and spots for people to use their computers and charging spots
The bad thing was the wifi was super slow.
I had to take an online class and each page took a few minutes to load! My wifi at home is slow but definitely faster than starbucks!

They were super busy when I came in this morning but the line moved quickly, employees were friendly, and the place was clean. Good for you, mall Starbucks.

What you see is what you get. This coffee place is actually pretty packed for a starbucks – there was barely any standing room left inside because there were so many people. The service was fast, and so was the drink quality – the latte they gave me was actually decent, with a good warm temperature and frothy flavor. The vibe inside is also pretty nice as well, with warm lighting /​music, and generally comfortable atmosphere
Overall, a pretty good place to stop by for a quick coffee. Definitely a above average Starbucks location

I like Starbucks, but this branch isn’t the best.
For one thing, some workers are rude. I get that you feel the need to socialize once in a while during the job, but dont do it when there is a line of people waiting to order their drinks.
Another thing, the slow service. Read above and you will know why the line grows longer instead of shorter.
Another thing, some workers always mess up an order. I dont remember asking for whipped cream to any of my frapps, but they always add whip. I just let it slide and slouch that crap off at home.
One star for at least making my earl gray tea latte sweetened with soy O-​K tasting. And another star for wifi.

Did I just see what I just saw?
A grown up fat man wearing tight leggings, black high heels, a pink shirt, and a cowboy hat asking «Where’s the Starbucks?» as he’s standing outside of it.
Now, last I checked I’m in a mall, and not in Castro or SF, so I feel oddly voyeuristic watching this man, and wanting to take a photo of him just to prove I saw what I did, at the same time.
But since he’s 300 pounds larger than me, I thought I’d better not.
If I wanted my ass kicked, well, that’s what work is for.
Maneuvering around the crazy, lost man, I went and got my usual drink.
Two people in front of me. Felt like a lifetime to get rung up.
The coffee was bitter and the espresso shot felt like it had sat their overnight.
Bad Starbucks experience, but entertaining show.
The only reason this is getting 3 instead of 2 stars is that they remade my drink.
