Went here for my second time with a friend(my friends first time here) and ordered two leche flan shakes because the first visit i came here, the leche flan shake was really tasty. The drink comes topped with a lot of whipped cream, and they pack like 15 pieces of small flan inside the drink. Pricing for one is $ 5.50, but the cup is large, so its pretty reasonable. Ordered the chocolate malt drink too for also $ 5.50, it was good as well, but prob a little too chocolatey for my taste. I also ordered the hot dog and pizza waffles, with the mild sauce that comes with it, is pretty good tasting too. It was 2 for $ 5, so a bit more pricier. The owner was really nice and sweet, providing excellent service throughout the cashier processing, remembering my name, leaving thank you’s, even asking if it was our first time here. I told her it was my friends first time here, she even said to me «thanks for bringing a friend!».(I never heard of any other service person ever say that to me before in all my life, that i recall at least lol) Lastly, she even showed me a new upcoming drink that looked tasty called cookie monster on her phone, priced for $ 6 [i didnt even request/ask her anything about that]. Now that is service! Would come back again, this time adding boba into their already good tasting shakes.

I had high hopes for this place cos of all the pictures on Instagram, but it’s honestly not that great. It’s also not that bad either, but for the price that you’re paying, you’d expect something better. The first time I went here, I got the Leche Flan Shake and it was very bland. The«Leche Flan» that is in the shake is more like a combination of pudding and jello(definitely does not do Filipino Leche flan justice). The second time I came here, I tried the Ferrero RoShake and that one was way better than the Leche Flan Shake. All in all, it’s not really worth the hype.

#79 + Leche flan shake — Lots of syrup on the bottom so mix it up before you drink it. Their leche flan is firm compared to traditional leche flan. My auntie, who is the leche flan maker of the family, would be very disappointed. + Milo shake — Tastes like a chocolate malt shake. My sister and I kept fighting over this drink. I think it tastes better than the leche flan shake because it wasn’t as sweet and it reminded me of my childhood. + Ferrero Rocher shake — I didn’t order this but the lady that works there let me try a sample of it. If she would’ve given me the sample before I’d ordered, I would’ve gotten this instead. + Cheese lollipop waffles — Surprisingly good. The cheese was like string cheese and I didn’t expect the waffle to taste savory and have herbs in it. The prices aren’t bad for such a huge shake, but I would’ve liked a smaller sized cup since neither of us finished our drinks. I didn’t like the lid that they used because every time I tried mixing my drink, my fingers would get all sticky from the syrup and whipped cream. Overall, I enjoyed playing the board games with my little sister but none of the items gave me a reason to come back.

Friendly staff. Drinks got so much better from when they first started. Best known drink is leche flan shake, it’s just right not super sweet, it’s a must try. First sips of my milo shake I didn’t taste much of the milo until I got near half way the cup, but is still good maybe add more powder. I personally get the milo drinks from pacific super and you can really taste the chocolate and I was hoping to have that distinct taste with the shake on those first sips but it was better on the half way point. Still two thumbs up. Place is small but they do have tables and seats. They also have board games. Street/meter parking.

Check out this new spot! You’ll love it! It’s Filipino food with a twist! I came out with some good friends to their grand opening and was not disappointed! I like how they incorporated classic food(like adobo) and made something fun and new with it(like adobo mac n’ cheese)! It makes the food even more exciting and sparks a sense curiosity to your palate. I really liked the lollidogs(pepperoni with cheese and Belgian waffle) with the special sriracha mayo… bomb dot com! But from everything I tasted, the star of the show has got to be the leche flan milk shake! Its different. When I first sipped the shake, I didn’t know how I felt about it. It was creamy but then I got a taste of the leche flan pieces in the shake that surprised me. It was a party in my mouth! I’ve decided it’s my new favorite drink. It’s not too sweet so you don’t get tired of it, it’s just right… pretty perfect actually. I need to taste the ube milk shake ASAP! This is gonna be our new hangout. The staff were really nice and friendly. One of the owners, Ursula, came to chat with us and is really down to earth. She said they are adding more stuff to their menu, which is pretty exciting. I’m coming back for sure!

No restroom :(but there’s a sink to wash your hands. Owner is awesome. She gave us a free oreo lollydog and ferrero rocher shake sample. Everything tastes good! But I think it is too sweet for me who likes 50% sugar on my boba drinks. My friend loves everything we got. It is filipino owned so theres a lot of pandan and ube on ube on ube! Yum! There’s games on the table and wifi. Now there’s only 3 tables. Street and meter parking available.

It’s been few months since I’ve been here. Came here around the time they were still new. Leche flan shake is good. I’ve tried their ube shake and buko pandan and it was blah. It tasted fake, too much flavoring. I’ve also tried their sandwiches and waffle sticks… good. If you’re on a diet don’t come here. If you got the munchies and want something yummy come here. Oh yea good service.

A small spot to chill and relax in Daly City! They have a really good variety of sweets and food you can choose from. The style of this place is to order first at the register then sit down and wait for your food to be freshly made. The types of food are fun and interesting and you have a good amount of options to pick from. This place is Filipino-owned(not surprising for it being in Daly City!) so expect to see Filipino items on their menu! The owners are SUPER nice and since it’s still fairly new-ish in the area, they work really hard to find improvements of where they can fix or tweak menu items to make it better. They are very genuine and friendly so if you have any questions about their menu items I’m sure they’d be happy to explain and describe anything to you! Definitely check this place out if you’re craving to snack and just chill out from a busy day. The only bad part about Phusion is their location, where parking could be a little difficult to find during peak hours. But their food is bomb so it’ll make up for it!

That milo shake and that ube shake with leche flan? Two straight sugar rushes in two very large cups, topped with whipped cream. If you aren’t down for that, share. Despite the twitchy eyelids and limbs that followed, both were delicious — definitely would order them again. I also ordered two of their savory waffles(2 for $ 5!) because I was needing some salt to balance out the sugar: the mac n’ cheese and the hotdog waffles. MAYBE because I JUST had some amazing, slight-crunch-on-the-outside, all-fluff-on-the-inside waffles from another place, I thought the waffle wraps here were too crunchy and not fluffy enough. I probably wouldn’t order these again, or maybe I just got a bad couple of batches? Oh well. Sit back, relax(if you can) with your sugar in a cup, and play some Connect Four with your friends in this little shop. Maybe even buy some Chiz Curls. It’s a good day.

The chocolate malt drink was very satisfying. Great flavor. The savory waffles w/mac & cheese on the other hand, not really a fan. The drink and snack didnt really go well together. The staff was very friendly, they offered free samples and it was delicious.

Upon entrance it seems like your typical small Filipino restaurant, but the food is a lot more different than you’d imagine. I highly and strongly recommend this place! I ordered the leche flan shake with the leche flan topping and that itself could make me drive to Daly City and deal with street parking. It was very sweet and creamy, as expected with any flan dessert. It was definitely rich in flavor, but a little on the heavier side(especially with the flan in the shake). I love that about it though, and I think it really is worth the $ 6($ 5.50 for the drink + $ 0.50 for the flan topping). I also ordered two waffles, one savory lolly waffle and one sweet lolly waffle. I got the«lollymac» which is a lolly dog(hot dog) and Mac and cheese in a waffle. That itself sounds like heaven already. It was very rich in flavor, and the cheese, meat, and sweetness of the waffle all complimented each other to make one amazing dish. My boyfriend had the s’mores lolly waffle. I’m not sure how he liked it that much, but after he let me have the first two bites he devoured it in a matter of seconds, so I guess you could say he loved it LOL. It was very sweet which isn’t always my style, but for someone who has a sweet tooth as big as my boyfriend, you’d love it. It looks appetizing(and like diabetes, but I mean if it looks that good just go for it). The one drawback is for being on a street rather than a plaza/shopping area, is that there’s no bathroom and I felt like my bladder was going to explode :( However, I’ll be looking forward to stopping by here again for the food because it’s definitely worth it; decently priced and amazing in taste!

You know you’re meant for the dental field when you NEED to have dessert after every meal… because let’s face it. who else is going to fix all those cavities? :p No one wants to fork out hundreds and hundreds of dollars for dental work… Joined forces with my super long overdue food buddy, Steven T. to have some good lookin shakes. Eyed this place for the LONGEST time but never had anyone to go with nor the time. .: Service/Parking/Atmosphere:. AMAZZZZING service from everyone there. SHOUTOUTTOTHEBEAUTIFULJESSICAWERKINIT. Parking was not too bad on a Tuesday afternoon around 1pm. We found free street parking down the block from the place. The place is SUPER hole-in-the-wall. Next to medical uniforms and some random car place. Interior may not be wonderfully decked out but that’s when you know their food/drinks are AMAZING because they dont need no distraction from their already awesome products. .:Dranks:. Leche Flan shake 5.50: supposedly their most popular one. consists of: vanilla shake, drizzles of caramel, fat chunks of flan, topped with a heart stoppping stack of whipped cream. YUMMMERS. Everything blended well together like milk and cookies. size of shakes were GINORMOUS, which I love because I always think theres never too little dessert. Sampled: Ube Oreo: basically Ube(purple yam) with Oreo bits. Super delish combo and I usually do not like Ube at all. Ferrero Rocher shake: ferrero rocher chocolate drink that tastes exactly like it topped with some wafer for texture. Super tasty and even a bonus since I LOVE ferrero My friend tried their Lolly Wafers and said it was SUPPPERRR good. Although I didnt get to try anything other than their shakes, just the drinks itself were memorable. Will def come back to try more things! ****MINIMUM $ 10FORCARD***

Phusion is your one-stop shop for cheap and delicious eats with unique Filipino twists! Familiar favorites like corn dogs are transformed into«lolly waffles» — waffles on a stick with your choice of sweet or savory filling inside that’s a treat to eat! The rest of the menu is relatively simple and includes pork adobo or bistek sandwiches, and a variety of other fruit/specialty shakes and teas. One of Phusion’s most raved about items is their creative and delicious Leche Flan Shake, which is a vanilla shake laced with ribbons of caramel syrup and chunks of flan. The flan definitely has a more jello like consistency to maintain its shape and texture in the drink. Not the most authentic, but it still tastes bomb so no complaints here! The chunks of flan also mellow out the drink’s sweetness. They have other tantalizing picks including buko pandan, s’mores, and mac ‘n cheese lolly waffles and ube oreo and ferrero rocher milkshakes! Phusion is definitely more of a snack type of joint, but you can certainly have a meal here if you go for one of the sandwiches. Their menu offers enough unique options to be a destination spot — namely the leche flan or ube shakes and you can’t go wrong with any of the lolly waffles. Service is very friendly, although they can get very busy and thus distracted at times. Small space with a few tables equipped with board games and a flat screen tv. Cheap eats with a family owned vibe. A fun spot to visit!

Loved the waffles on a stick(AKA lolly waffles) — we tried the S’mores sweet version and the hot dog /mac & cheese savory version. Both were very good, but the S’mores waffle was heavenly — who can go wrong with chocolate, marshmallows, and graham crackers? Super friendly staff too!

This hole in a wall joint in Daly City is packed with delicious contemporary reinvention of Filipino desserts. Here you would find ube waffle, buko pandan waffle, turon shake, leche flan shake, red velvet waffle etch. They are so good and people are lining up to try their delicious menu. Service is fast, very friendly. Free wifi! They accept charge card with minimum $ 10 purchase. Street parking only and it might be a challenge as it is off Mission Top of the Hill. The place is small and it gets packed! Reserving my 5th star when they moved to a bigger place.

Leche flan shake! Gets you curious, right? So when I friend suggested we try this place, I jumped at the idea. It wasn’t what I expected a shake would be. The flan was in pieces and you have the option of adding boba. The shake wasn’t that sweet enough to my liking. The flan was bland maybe to compensate for the sweetness the whip cream will be but even that I wish it was sweeter as a flan should be. I also tried the adobo pulled pork sandwich. It sure tasted different but not adoboish enough. I’m yet to try their lolly. I’m pretty sure the kids will like it.

Phusion is a small shop towards Top of the Hill, that opened up late Summer 2015 on 6785 Mission at the corner of Eastlake /Westlake. Things to know before you go: * Their big red & gold Niner flag /SF Giants flag(depending on the season) seen waving out front makes for a noticeable landmark; * Metered street parking is(somewhat) available; * Cash or credit with a $ 10 min. purchase; * Quaint shop with two benches and one table for 2 inside so seating is limited. Menus on the wall and board games while you wait. A couple rounds of Connect Four is all it took for our merienda(afternoon snack) to arrive. Staff is super friendly and very accommodating. The owner, Ursula, is sweet and asked us to taste our smoothies, offering to make any adjustments like the baristas at Philz. The flavors were on point. I only wish the smoothies were thicker, they were pretty liquidy upon coming out. Perhaps cuz it was nearly 80°F this afternoon? During our first visit today we tried the Ube, Mango, and Leche Flan smoothies. Ube goodness. At $ 5.50 it’s a lil pricier than Jollibee’s Ube Cooler but I’d rather support the mom n pop shop than a corporation. Leche Flan shake, also $ 5.50. The flan is not the consistency I anticipated. More gelatinous than the traditional eggy flan, but I suppose it’s to hold up inside the shake. The 24 oz smoothie was loaded generously with leche flan cubes and the cup was coated with Pinoy Walls. I just made that up. Imagine Thai Walls @ Starbucks in Hawaii but caramel sauce instead of condensed milk. LOL Mental note made on our future To-Eat list, based on recommendations: * Milo shake * Melón(fresh cantaloupe) juice * Everything lolli-waffled(sweet: s’mores, savory: Hawaiian pizza) * Pulled Pork Adobo Sandwich: curious to see how it fairs to Café Gabriela’s smackin ass sammie in Oakland. We’ll be back, albeit the pricey treats, cuz we love to SUPPORTSMALLBUSINESSES, especially those owned and operated by our kababayan(Tagalog word of the day, brought to you by the Letter K | Modern day translation: «Filipino community», or traditionally known as «countrymen»). Salamat, Ursula & Phusion friends!

Social media had me going crazy over wanting to try the leche flan milkshake(caramel custard) over here. Finally tried it and… it’s really good! It’s more along the lines of Stabucks frappuccino, milkshake, and boba since they use ice cream, syrups, and good sized chunks of leche flan custad. Lots of action going on, sweet but yeah every once in a while kinda treat. Maybe the evolution would be like a leche flan shave ice sundae?!? The owner, Ursula, is super nice and since they weren’t busy the first time I went here gave me a sample of the freshly squeezed cantaloupe juice. It had little shreds of cantaloupe which took my back to my childhood when my grandparents would do stuff like this. It’s a Filipino thing! Other things I’ve tried. MILOSHAKE $ 5.5 chocolate malted shake, super good for that chocolate fix. UBE/TARO shake — Legit! Good consistency. BISTEAKCHEESESTEAK — Good flavor, I liked this better than the adobo sandwich. Street parking isn’t too hard to find. If you like this place, you’d probably also like Toast Deli, Rhea’s Deli, and One Way Mission. Support your local mom and pops! I’ll be back!

GAGAFACEFORSHAKES I have an obsession with shakes and I go out of the limb to find good ones. I definitely found a shake that’s «different» and with a twist of «that so hella Daly City» LECHEFLANSHAKE We Filipinos are so inventive. Why not drink your dessert through a straw!!! It’s not overly sweet and I love how big chunks o Leche flan goes up the boba straw and into my mouth. In my books, they get 5 on it. Until the next review…

Phusion. Or, as my mom would say… Più-SHUN! F.O.B. jokes aside(I’ll do my best, at least), Phusion hits the mark when it comes to fusion food. However, I do find it hard to call it «fusion,» per se. I mean, they have a Pork Adobo Sandwich with Mango Chili Slaw and some delicious Sriracha mayo. The Filipino part isn’t really fused with another culture. I guess the sandwich part might be if you want to push the envelope. Okay fine, so it’s basically Filipino food fused with… Quiznos?!? Whatevs. Still awesome! Anyway, aside from that mammoth of a sandwich on dutch crunch bread, they also have a «Lolly» or two on the menu. A Lolly is basically a pseudo corn dog. During my visit, they had 2 varieties, a Pepperoni and Cheese version and one with hot dog and mac and cheese… yes, you read that right… a corn dog WAFFLE, filled with hot dog and mac and cheese! Don’t overthink it, just eat it. All will be good in the world. Trust me. Now, I saved the best for last. My favorite part of the meal was the Leche Flan shake. Yes, leche flan, caramel, and vanilla ice cream all in one drink. I guess they will also need to FUSE multiple cholesterol medications together if you want this! But again, whatevs! I’m not eating this every day! Bring it on! They also have Ube(Taro) and Milo(Chocolate) shakes, as well. I hear they are both good, but man, that leche flan… The owner, Ursula, was super cool! It’s a small place and she is usually the only one running the joint on weekdays. You might have to wait 9 minutes instead of 7 for your food, but reeeelaxxxx, you’ll be rewarded with some…(cue Alton Brown’s Good Eats music).
