Nice area. Parking can b hard to find.
No bathrooms. Water fountain.
Baby n reg swings, slide, etc.
Cement path thru, sand area around train, wood chips under remaining play areas n structures.
Completely fenced. As the name suggests, appropriate for toddlers, w a few notable exceptions– one end of slide structure is open, w a 5′ + drop. Watch out

Polaris Tot Lot is a small neighborhood play area for little ones, and you can’t expect that much from a tot lot. Most tot lots are really small and have basic play equipment to entertain toddlers — they’re the vestige of a society that has moved to full-​time daycare and preschool. In fact, you’re probably wondering why a city like Daly City would spend $ 2 million renovating tot lots all over the municipality.
And that’s a good question.
The tot lot on Polaris Way is near my home, and its redesign was done with help from residents. It should exist in that neighborhood because little ones need spaces to play on weekends or weekdays, and cities like to keep families from moving away. (Sad to say, but if you want to see what happens when families leave, look at San Francisco.)
This tot lot is gated and clean, and it is safe. Its equipment is still on the new side. The only negative is that parking is hard to find.
