Besides the friendly bar staff that works here the rest of bar staff/security allows the ladies of this bar be harassed by the intoxicated men found in this bar. When confronting these disgusting individuals the only interactions will be met with violent/crass delinquents ready to stab and/or hold you at gun. As is evident by the 20+ patrol cars handling the gun fight that happened tonight as we tried to celebrate my nephews 21st birthday. Never come here, it’s best for your safety.

The vibe and the music was cool, thanks to the dj and the crowd. But the service at the bar is the reason for my 3 stars. Took us like 15 minutes just to get their attention. They were looking down the whole time, one bartender was just putting away cups. I had to basically scream at her just to get her to look at me. When I told her my order she didn’t even look at me she was basically just like«what???» I went to the bar a total of 4 times to get 4 different drinks and every single time, took 10 – 15 minutes. $ 5 shots all night, you think they would staff up and hustle their butts off, none of that tonight.

*hmmm, what y’all tryna do tonight?* *hmmm… $ 5 drinks and shots?* *lol who’s driving.* *not me* *are you ok to drive?* *uh, yeah I guess I have no choice* Lol kind of how it goes when we go out to bars… But $ 5 though, how can you beat it? Pretty small intimate bar/lounge. Security is nice and once you enter the bar is already PACKED. It is almost impossible to order your drink in a timely matter. But give it a couple minutes and they will help you eventually. Just lots of people on a Friday night. I personally love their Moscow Mule, not too gingery and not too much lime. Music is alright… Felt like it could have better choice with Bay Area slaps, but forsure it wasn’t too bad but it was all Hip Hop. I just like to drink and do hoodrat shit w my friends.

This place is not managed well. Their POS system charges your card over $ 100 even if you don’t spend that much. Their bartenders are hit or miss. Second time I went the bartender didn’t pay attention and didn’t know how to make any drinks. They need to hire better people to run the place.

Great venue and friendly staff. It’s a chill lounge on weekdays. Too bad it’s tucked away in a little corner of Mission, it’s easy to miss :(and parking in the area isn’t always the greatest. But nonetheless it is the best that Daly City has to offer for nightlife.

I think this place needs better advertising or something, because the food and bar are surprisingly good for a place that is so consistently empty in the evenings. It’s kind of a hole-in-the-wall. From the outside, you can barely even tell it’s a bar, let alone whether it serves food. Ever since I realized what it was, I’ve gone a couple times for a drink and dinner on my way home from work(my bus stops right outside). I must say I’m impressed by the quality of ingredients they use in the food. I think a lot of it must be made from scratch in-house, not ordered in freezer boxes like most bars do. Good cuts of meat, original sauces, fresh ingredients. Nice and filling. My favorite is the chicken katsu strips, but the slider burgers are great too and the fries are decent. I like the Big Daddy beer on tap too for the happy hour. I wish more people would find out about this place and actually go there, so they could hire more kitchen and wait-staff. As-is it’s pretty empty. At least I got the place to myself for now. Btw, I would love to see them serve brunch on Saturday/Sunday mornings. Pancakes, eggs, bacon, mimosa, bloody mary, mmmm.

The bartender, Mark is super friendly and makes yummy drinks and is fun to talk to. :) Overall just a nice place to be at.

I am giving this place two stars because the staff is friendly and the place is clean. I am a little disappointed how understaffed they were for fight night. There was only one cook and one bartender, and we kept seeing the manager go back and fourth trying to help his staff. Like I said the staff is friendly but not to sure if I will come back here.

Just came here tonight to check out the Warriors game. The food and staff that greeted me were very nice… Decided to stay for their Thursday’s Beer Pong tournament and I HIGHLY recommend it! The bartender Mark helped patrons out immediately and knows how to keep a crowd pleased. Will DEFINITELY come back for the food I missed out on that everyone was talking so highly about! If you’re in the area or looking for somewhere new to go to, I suggest to check out the Hideout. They informed me about their Friday and Saturday night club events, I will definitely check it out!

We went to this place on a Wednesday night. I was cashing in on a groupon I had. The place was pretty dead. The service was awful. The buns on my sliders were burned and the onion rings which took so long to be served were overly battered. My husband complained in the car ride going home and said we’re never going back there again. If you want food, don’t come here

I came here last Friday with a few friends for their Flashback event. I wasn’t sure what to expect but Hideout is definitely one of the nicest bar/lounges I’ve been to in the Bay Area. The place is clean and the event was pretty packed. The bartender was extremely friendly and made me and my buddies feel welcomed. 5 stars, will definitely come back again!

Hidden at the borderline between SF and Daly City comes this lovely venue. I was here during their last beer pong tourney last Thursday, it was packed with people. Registration was full and I couldn’t register my team! I will definitely sign up earlier for the next tourney coming up next Thursday. I tried out their cowboy sliders, awesome pretzel buns! The popcorn chicken was very tender and goes great with their spicy aioli sauce and house ranch! They also have a night club on weekends, I’ve went to a few. Some nights were good, while others were packed with sorority ladies. I had no complaints. Will come back again soon!

Typically i would give this kind of bar a 3 star but the bartender Adeline was very friendly and nice. Wandered here looking for a quick drink after a long day at work. Food: Chicken Katsu sticks — pretty good. not overly breaded. Cowboy Slider — meat and bacon was great Friendly bartender who knows her drinks and food was decent. They have different events on different nights so i may stop by for another look some day.

Hit up The Hideout for the first time to see my man Jackson– nice ambiance, good food, great hospitality. Chicken Katsu Sticks– tasty, surprisingly tender. a definite must get. Slaw Sliders– nicely flavored, the pretzel buns were good as well(freshly baked every morning?) House Wings– got some of that garlic flavor paired with some good sauces(see below) Garlic Fries– nice fresh taste, not too greasy Mini Corndogs– nice and small so they weren’t too bready Sauces– handmade; the ranch especially was delicious Definitely worth checking out; I believe the restaurant part of the venue is called The Slider Haus, separate from the bar, but they’re nice and cozy next to each other.

Went here for a drink tonight and lucked out because they were doing a free tasting for the new upcoming food menu! Sampled a bunch of appetizers that were all great. But, the Pretzel bun burger slider and chicken and waffle sandwich were really on point! Oh, and those mini corn dog bites with the different sauces were so good too. I didn’t catch when they will start food service, but I can’t wait to try the rest of their food. The place has a nice layout with a big bar, a bunch of couches and projection tv’s. Bartender’s were friendly and they have a great selection of beer on tap(I had a Big Daddy). Also, had one of their specialty cocktails(can’t remember the name) and it tasted really good. Overall, great neighborhood spot and will be back for drinks and food.

If I could be completely honest, this place was not my first choice to throw my birthday party. I originally had planned to have it at The Grand in San Francisco. But let me just say, I AMSOVERYHAPPYTHAT I ENDEDUPBOOKINGHERE. The ambiance of this place is amazing. It’s the perfect balance of calm and party ready. The way everything is set up is absolutely perfect. There’s a red room, I believe for champagne) and a couple of tables and booths for Bottle Service. Let me start with how cute the Red Room is. It’s a dim lit area with a few tables –the perfect set up for an afternoon, early dinner date. Holds about 20 people or so, if I remember correctly. Perfect for that secluded, intimate date. The bottle service room is located on the main floor. There’s a few booth table things and let me tell you, they’re all placed really well. There’s table 4(I believe is it’s number) which is on the right side, closest to the kitchen and that’s the perfect place to be IF you want to be really close to the DJ. Table 1(the table I had) has the perfect view of everything. Literally, everything. You can see the ENTIRE club from here and it’s right next to the door which is the best because after all the sweat from dancing, that wonderful Daly City breeze just swings right in. Table 2 is practically the same, but closer to the projection screen. Table 3(the awkward corner) isn’t as awkward as it looks. It actually has a nice, charming feel to it. On to the staff! The owner(Jackson) and Marketing Director(Minh), did such an amazing job keeping in contact with me, answering all of my questions and requests at a timely manner. They really went above and beyond to please myself and all of the guests who attended. If you knew me, you’d know that I can’t drink to save a life. Minh took so much time out of his days to ask me what I wanted, explain what chasers were and even gave me a tour of the place on short notice! I seriously didn’t think he was kidding when he said I could call /text him anytime and he’d reply. HEREALLYDOES. Talk about service! The night of my actual event, I came early. They introduced me to the people who’d be taking care of my party and myself. They went above and beyond answering my questions, elaborating on every single detail that I didn’t even think about(which actually really helped because I was all over the place that night). They even watch to make sure when people have had their limits on drinks and deal with it in a timely and courteous manner. Honestly, if I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. I definitely plan on coming back and keeping this in mind for all events my friends and I throw.

The Hideout just opened, and Daly City is blessed to have it in town! The vibe stands out not just because of how great the deejays are, but also because of how welcoming the bartenders and staff are. There is plenty of space to dance, get drinks at the bar, or just chill(hideout) with friends. The drinks are strong and there is never a dull moment with their music.(Shoutout to DJ eTunes!) Love this place and definitely going back with more friends. Go check it out!

I attended the«soft opening» of the Hideout Bar & Lounge a few weekends ago and it would probably be blasphemous to say that there aren’t any quirks and kinks that they’ll need to figure out before they become fully operational(before the grand opening this coming weekend). However, I do commend the new owners for: +The complete renovation & clean up from what Mink use to be. Hideout now has an old school feel with up to date interior and decorative furniture. +Friendly and welcoming staff(bartenders and owners). One of the owners had actually asked for tips and opinions on what areas needed improvement. He also bought my friends and I a round of drinks. No snobby attitude whatsoever. +Only bar/lounge area to be found within Daly City. Otherwise, pretty much industrial/residential. Couldn’t really tell since it was dark– all I know is, nothing else seemed to be «happening» in that area, I’m excited for the new addition of nightlife events to ensue once the Hideout is officially up and running. Their Grand Opening event is this weekend 8÷22÷14 and 8÷23÷14, something worth checking out if anyone happens to be in the area.
