Omg the shoes at this Renys!!! Tons and tons of boots and things. They aren’t in the clothing store but the underground. Found some great boots for my 18 year old that had the rubber at the foot, leather top, and fleece inside at a very reasonable price. As the commercials say it is a Maine adventure. This particular one seems less picked through than some of the others. We even found snow shoes for trekking cross country in the snow. If you see something you like get it then because items do change. Oh and currently wool socks, but 3 get one pair free. :)

Excellent discount store with a find around every corner. You never know what you are going to find. There are bargains everywhere. The employees are friendly and helpful. There is so much in there, stuff everywhere. Inventory is changed frequently, so items you see today may not be there tomorrow. I love this place.

I come here every summer when I’m in Maine for vacation. I usually get the same tote bag that is similar to LL Bean’s boat and tote bag except its usually white with either blue or pink handles and decorated with moose or lobster. I also used to get a puzzle to do every summer, except their puzzle selection has gone down hill within the past 3 years or so :(I miss those Charles Wysocki puzzles. I was also very pleased with myself for finding the perfect sized buckets for only $ 1.99 each to go collect rocks or shells on the beach or catch sea life during the beach days. Some kiddie nets would have been cool, but no biggie!

Good olé’ Renys I LOVE this store. This is the ONLY store I do not mind shopping for clothing at. You might have to dig a little but the prices are super reasonable. Selection is vast. And the folks are helpful and friendly, and they know what they have and what they don’t. The folks of Maine are lucky to have ah local store like Reny’s. I have never received ah Christmas present from Reny’s I did not love. The place sells men’s alpaca socks for crying out loud. And I LOVE my alpaca socks !!!

Don’t expect a Family Dollar Store type of cheap stuff cheap. This place functions as department store for locals with an incredible range of products available. Just the right mix of necessities, camping stuff, pet stuff, toys, dry goods, and touristy items like the Reny’s diner mug which proved irresistible. Like the West Concord Five and Dime in MA, this is a place that encourages buying something, anything! Came here with a friend from Bristol. If I lived nearby, this would be my go-to place for all the things that you DON’T want to go to Walmart for. An original and deserving of our patronage to stave off uniform mediocrity.

Renys is a Damariscotta staple. It’s kind of like their local Walmart, but with a random assortment of essentials and other things. They’ve got clothes, dishes and cooking utensils, gardening supplies, cleaning stuff… you name it. The prices are great. For the clothes, they even carry some brand name items now and again.

Reny’s = AWESOME. It’s a great place to buy towels, puzzles, plastic horse toys, lawn ornaments, leather boots, salad dressing, shampoo, batteries, napkins, glassware, cookies, coloring books, warm socks, beach umbrellas, and basically anything else in this world that you could ever want or need. The prices are wicked low and the workers are super friendly. Visiting the Pemaquid area and skipping Reny’s is pretty much a sacrilege.

They’re great. They have almost everything. It’s sort of like an old fashioned general store on steroids. And everything here is pretty cheap. The only bad thing I can say about them was I couldn’t find any decent«I– just-went-to Maine» type t-shirts! Must have been too late in the season. If your going to Maine and you’re renting a place and it needs a few things, this is the first place you should stop. It’s in town and there are two of them on opposite sides of the street. One has more cloths and is smaller(It’s on the North side) and the other is more of a general store(and is on the South side or harbor side of the street). They are a literally within a stones throw of each other. I know this because a threw a stone to find out.

Reny’s Underground is a great go-to place for pretty much anything you need, from electronics to spices to camping gear to toys to power tools. The prices are always cheap, and the selection, while not big on the high-end brands, is certainly good enough if you want no-frills solutions to your needs. Fortunetly, this Maine department store chain hasn’t lost its small-town mom-and-pop feel or its loyal local customer base, giving it – at least for now — an edge in its ongoing fight against giants like Wal-Mart.
