It was my first time here and I had a pretty great experience! Loved the décor, although I felt kinda weird walking through a woman’s legs on the way in(there’s a cloth with a woman’s pattern), but the atmosphere was cute. I ordered a chicken teriyaki yakisoba and my friend got the sweet potato roll and volcano roll. We shared and I think both were delicious. The volcano roll was delicious in only the way seasoned mayo can be(yum). Sweet potato roll was new for me, and the proportion of fried sweet potato was perfect, with not an overwhelming layer of rice wrapped around. Yakisoba was so so good. Noodles were a bit softer than I would have liked but the flavor hit the spot. Chicken was grilled perfectly, but what really made it was their sauce. Prices are not overwhelming. Would def come visit again!

The food is very fresh. They have been very accommodating to the questions and different types of «sushi» I will eat!!! They even have a soy bean paper wrap for my sushi! The box for dinner is a great deal. I did not think Damascus needed another Chinese type place, but Tokyo Fire is a nice addition.

Went and picked up sushi from here tonight and it was amazing! We got 6 different rolls of their House Specials and the combinations were fantastic. Not your typical combinations, and everything tastes very fresh. The staff was very nice, and gave us a roll on the house when I realized they had forgotten to make a roll that we ordered. Damascus definitely needed a good sushi place!

Just had a fabulous meal at Damascus’s newest restaurant, Tokyo Fire! Great side salad and miso soup, followed by an amazing sweet potato roll, a complimentary seaweed salad, and our hibachi entrees – salmon, beef, and chicken – on top of a medley of grilled fresh vegetables. All of our food had amazing flavor and was carefully prepared. This place is small, casual, and very busy on a Saturday night, so we sat at the bar. No alcohol is available, but I assume you can BYOB. Definitely one of the best Japanese-style restaurants we have ever visited. Not fancy, but they offer top-notch food at a great price. Staff was bustling and very friendly. We hope Tokyo Fire continues to excel! What a great addition to Damascus Town Center!

I’m not a fan of sushi so I tried the Hibachi Chicken and it was fabulous! Light sauce and a delicious grilled flavor. The atmosphere was very clean and comfortable. My friend got the Teriyaki Chicken and it was really good as well. The fried ice cream was also delicious. The prices are very reasonable. I’ll be going back for sure!

First time eating from here. We got it to go. We had cali roll, salmon roll, eel roll, spicy crab roll, spicy crunch shrimp roll, yellowtail roll, fire roll, and phoenix roll. Also had miso soup and appetizer of tempura shrimp. It was all delicious, took about 15 – 20 mins to get ready on a Saturday around 5pm. I would highly recommend and will be going back. There is another sushi place by harris teeter which was horrible. I wouldn’t go there.

So impressed with this place! I was a little hesitant because, well it’s in Damascus. However, the sushi was fresh and delicious. We got 5 rolls between us two and didn’t waste a single piece! Only reason for only 4 stars was because I was expecting to be able to order sake. Either they don’t have their license yet or they don’t plan to get one. Little disappointed there. Outside of that it was a great experience. Service was great too and the guys behind the bar making the sushi were very pleasant and offered us a free appetizer. Definitely worth trying out for those of you unsure about it. I will be back soon!

Only four stars but it’s because we’ve only come here this once. But the service was very good and they were pretty helpful. The menu is extensive and hard to decide. We were very satisfied with our dishes. Presentation was spot on. Open décor, light as expected. Not sure about the curtains on the windows but… I know they’ve just opened and it was late so perhaps that’s why there wasn’t much traffic there. It looks like they have a good deal for their box lunch. Overall, we were satisfied with our visit. We will be back.
