This is my go-to pizza place! Anybody whose anybody knows that Ledo’s has the best pizza around. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because aside from the pizza, I have had one or two meals other than pizza that left something to be desired, but that won’t deter me from coming back! Yesterday I order their new Mediterranean dish, the Fettuccinni Filomena. I have had other pastas in the past like the chicken and broccoli fettuccini alfredo and that was delicious. I especially love the garlic bread that comes with it. Just with this new pasta, it was very lemon-tasting, more than I”d like and it took over the dish. Plus, there was not enough chicken on the dish in my opinion, only a few pieces here and there. Maybe I am just not a fan of this particular Mediterranean dish. Otherwise, any pizza I have gotten here has been delicious, consistent and always made fresh and fast. I can pick up the pizza within 10 minutes of calling. Our go-to is the pepperoni, but I do switch it up from time to time with some added bacon or sausage. Really, any pizza there is delicious. Go get some!

I don’t understand why they still haven’t updated their hours. Unilocal says they’re open until 10. They aren’t. :-(

Our families have been eating here since they opened. Love this location. They always get our order right(which can be hard) and the service is great! Really nice people and great food!

Friendly service. Food was blah. Not the typical Ledos experience. Pizza is not akin to other Ledos. Don’t recommend.

Every time I come here it doesn’t matter what I get but it tastes awful. The pizza is you either love it or hate it and I hate it… the service is mediocre and definitely has room for improvement. Until they make their food start tasting less like crap I don’t plan on coming back anytime soon. Everything’s just overly greasy and tastes super cheap/poorly made.

On days with nice weather, my friends and I like to ride out here and stop by for a quick break and a bit of food. Their avocado BLT is amazing… and now that I’m thinking about it, I want another one.

Yum. Went on a Saturday night and thought I was really testing my luck, ordering a salad at pizza place, but was pleasantly surprised. The spinach, goat cheese, bacon salad was delicious and fresh! Service was great, too. Prompt and friendly.

Love it here. Great service. Manager always comes by and makes sure everything is great. The food is Ledos. Overall I would highly recommend this establishment. The management does a great job.

One star for quality of food, one star for the fact that the teenagers that work here are capable and friendly, and one star for nostalgia and small town spirit! The pizza is unique… some love it, some hate it. the crust is flaky and thin and the pizza is square. the sauce is sweet and the cheese is plentiful. give a personal pan a try! highlights: Spicy toasted(fried) ravioli, Old Bay wings, and the Ledos Italian salad. disclaimer: I worked here as a teen over 13 years ago. not much has changed, and for the most part that is a good thing.

I came here with a friend we ordered the baked cheese fries w/bacon and a medium pizza. The pizza tasted rather rubbery but the fries was fresh and yummy. I would definitely come back for the fries but definitely not the pizza.

We tried two of Ledo’s new Craft Pizzas: Margherita and California cool. We were disappointed. The Margherita was tasteless and just not good. The pesto on the California cool was overpowering. Stick to a regular pizza.

My wife and I have eaten at Ledo Pizza in Damascus on several occasions and always found the food to be a good value. In the past, we tried subs, calzones or Stromboli. On our last visit about a week ago, we decided to try their pizza(since the restaurant name is Ledo Pizza, we thought that would be a safe bet). We ordered a white pizza — something new for us. When the pizza arrived, we couldn’t believe our eyes. A super-thin crust was topped with a thin layer of over-baked(dark brown) cheese, all drowning in a lake of oil. It was, without a doubt, the worst meal we had ever been served at a restaurant in 30 years. When our waitress, Nikki, asked how it was, I said the pizza was very greasy. She replied that Ledo Pizza is always that way and to just use the napkins to sop up the extra oil. In hindsight, we should have sent the pizza back and ordered something else, but we were strapped for time and left half of the pizza behind. We will never return to Ledo Pizza again for pizza, maybe not for anything else, either.

The reviews for this location are amusing. I don’t know anything about the original Ledo Pizza, or which one is best. I do know that my wife and I have two kids and live in Damascus, where there aren’t many places to eat out… Ledo Pizza is perfectly acceptable. Pizza ranges from okay to good. Some people love it. Their red sauce is solid. My family really likes the pasta there. Service, as previously mentioned by other reviewers is… handled by kids. It used to be a lot worse actually, this isn’t fine dining folks. Bottom line, we can go with the kids during the week occasionally, and my 4 yr old can act up some, and we don’t get served bad food, and it’s a reasonable price.

I think most people either really like Ledo’s pizza, or really hate it. I’m sort of in the middle, but my mom loves it so it was a frequent take-out place when I was younger. I’m not a huge fan of the regular pizza because to me it tastes soggy and greasy(except for the pieces with crust, they’re acceptable). However, I LOVE the white pizza, it’s exactly what white pizza should be like. Recently, I’ve only gotten takeout when at my parents house so I haven’t been inside this actual place since high school so I can’t really comment on the service, although when I was in high school it was mostly apathetic high school students working so I imagine it’s still the same.

Holy Christ on a crutch! This place is still open?! I used to go to high school down the street from here. One of us would sneak out of woodworking class(Teacher’s name was Mr. Eilers. He was the MAN) everyday and get a shitload of food from here until they started to deliver. Pizza, Old Bay french fries, and steak subs. Oh my poor arteries and the hell I used to put them through. Man those were the days. Glad this place is still open for the kids to eat at.

Living in Damascus brings a certain wary eye to Ledos. I had a lot of friends work there over the years, so I can say with authority that their kitchen staff doesn’t take things too seriously … meaning, don’t expect Gordon Ramsay to be baking your food back there. It’s a 17 year old who is reading from a pamphlet on calzones, or a Hispanic guy working his third job that day who could make your pizza with his eyes closed… and often does. Waiters are always, ALWAYS work-permit-aged girls who try hard, but really don’t know how the service industry works yet. Food is pretty standard fare, their buffalo pizza with the chicken and hot sauce is my favorite, but absolutely horrible for you. You can feel the food just sit in your heart valves. Still, not awful. The new location, down by the Post Office, is much nicer than the older one. It’s brighter, more windows and new, clean carpets. It’s … OK. If you find yourself stuck, car broken down in front of the restaurant, go ahead and give it a try. Otherwise, save up for a trip to the Adelphi location(still the best), so maybe venture up to Frederick or to Rockville for better fare.
