Dana Point Donut Shop

The entire strip shopping center they were located in has been closed and the windows papered over, Not sure what’s going on, looks like the landlord is making improvements to the building, but all the tenants including DP Donut have been moved out. We all hope this is temporary, but no one locally I’ve asked really has any information.

Homer Simpson’s dream came true… right here at Dana Point Donut Shop! Complete with pink boxes, colorful sprinkles, lots & lots of donuts!
Donuts are fresh made everyday! You can taste the quality and freshness with every bite. Glazed, Jelly filled, Chocolate, Cake, etc… an impressive selection! I don’t know of that many places around anymore that bakes their goods on premise. The fact that there is a baker who wakes up for the sole purpose of making fresh made products for my consumption makes me insanely happy!
Croissants are about as big as my head! They are a must try! Ham & Cheese, Chocolate, Butter! Bear Claws are about actual size to a real Grizzly Bear, and I think the Apple Fritters are as Mama-​Smacking good as you can get this side of the Mississippi!
My Hazelnut Latte was the perfect blend of sweet and strong! Which happens to be just how I like my men!
If you can pull your face away from all those lovely donuts and look up — you will notice the amazingly reasonable prices! Ummmm… maybe they are typo’s? But let’s not say anything because I definitely don’t mind paying 0.90 for a huge, light, fluffy perfectly glazed donut!

Blueberry muffins! Ham and cheese croissants! Chocolate covered buttermilk donuts! Some of my favorites from this local donut shop. The owner is very outgoing to know all of his regular patrons and takes care of them. The staff is friendly and always has smiles to welcome you. Price… come on, it’s a donut shop… you’re not going to go broke. Tons of coffee, tee and beverages to choose from too. Excellent quick stop donut shop. Check them out.

Your run of the mill donut shop… but gotta love the local vibe! My hubbie loves this place and goes out of his way to come here!

Great beach town «old school» donut shop with local crowd passing through each morning. Spacious interior, with inside and outside seating right on Coast Highway. Large selection of Diedrich coffees, and the owner always makes me a strong latte — much better than the competition! Typical doughnut selection, plus bagels, ham and cheese croissants, and some breakfast sandwich type things. Snapples, juices, energy drinks, milk, chocolate milk, etc. Owner, Kevin, very friendly and knows all his local customers.
