Stuft Pizza

this place is the WORST. I’ve had issues with them a few times and never once have they so much as apologized. they’re incredibly greedy and care about taking your money more than they do about offering good food or good service. I’ve given them multiple chances and they somehow always manage to disappoint. they’re pizza is alright but their customer service is terrible. rudest workers I’ve ever encountered.

I can’t believe this place only has 3 stars. My comments apply to the business as a delivery customer exclusively, but as a long time Dana Point resident, having Stuft Pizza in the neighborhood has been a huge plus. We often entertain friends and our guests are always impressed with Stuft, particularly The Duke’s Butcher Block and the Basil Rathbone. That Stuft will also deliver bottled beer (24oz in some cases) is a huge plus.

Where do I begin. Save your money better yet go to the dumpster of any restaurant in Dana point and you can find a better meal than what served out of this trash hole. The so-​called manager or owner Juan is clueless and does not support the community and does not understand how to run a quality eating establishment. The food was so bad that I had to finger plunge my throat to get the disgusting fecal matter what they call food out of my stomach so I didn’t get sick. Do not go there. Go anywhere else. As a former executive for a well-​known restaurant I’m embarrassed to call this a restaurant it is an absolute scar on the eating community. I only give it one star because I can’t post this unless I give it something.

I ordered a pizza for delivery while I was down at the COA meeting, and it was one of the BEST I have ever had! Just wanted to give you guys and gals there a shout out for a great meal!

Pizza tastes like it was pre-​made way to greasy and sour tasting sauce. the place was really run down and needed cleaning.

Third time I’ve gone here. The pizza has amazing flavor with the best crust of any pizza I’ve had. The lasagna is incredible. The traditional calzone was also very good. It came with fries that are exceptional, that meal was good for lunch the next day it was so big. The staff taking the orders are very friendly and the place has a family atmosphere

This place so unsanitary. The workers are all dirty looking. The pizza is all dough. It’s a shame Stuft Pizza used to be good years ago. No longer.

Absolutely horrible! The girl that served me today has the most awkward and thee worst customer service… Pizza tastes like a frozen pizza ! I don’t eat pizza and dominos is better then this place they use tapatio on there wings instead of buffalo sauce !!! That’s disgusting!!!

Very disappointed in the management. The other night we ordered a specialty chicken pizza. We have ordered this pizza several times before and it’s been okay. But this last time the chicken was very dry we only ate 3 pieces and throw the rest out. I called to let them know that I was unhappy with the pizza the girl took all my information and told me management would call me back later (strange that the manager is not in the restaurant at 6:30 on a Sunday night) that was 3 days ago. I called yesterday and management was out on a break. I called again today strangely enough the manager again is out from 3 to 5. Customer service is not very good. Very disappointing. You’re not the only pizza place in town.

Been here a couple times. Once coming back from Catalina and just recently on a short trip to Dana Point.
First time we shared some kind of meat lovers pizza and an antipasto salad… Was yummy.
This last time we had the salad again, but my wife had a calzone and I had a Philly cheese steak sandwich. Still yummy. Would go here again.

Got spaghetti with marinara and meatballs, it was alright. Famous Hawaiian pizza with red onion too. Marinara is sweet, and crust was on the thicker side. Overall it was good. Cabernet wine was not good, serves too warm. But the joint is chill.

My wife and I love this place. The servers are friendly, there are lots of TVs to watch sports, and my wife can get GLUTEN FREE pizza that tastes good. We love their Italian Sausage.

San Clemente location is much better

The bloody mary’s taste like soap. There is this constant beeping sound queuing me to write a bad review and the boy at the register has a sweet tan but acts like he’d rather be working on that than taking my order. The breadsticks were ok, but lets be honest that’s hard to mess up. Get it together Stuft Pizza.

I LOVE Stuft Pizza and have since 1993. All the food is wonderful-​they deliver AND there are tons of tvs to watch your favorite game (not to mention ice cold beer):)

Always good pizza at a reasonable price and a great location if you’re staying in Dana Point. Great beer selection and lots of TVs if you’re a sports fan.
I may have given a five star review but they really need an interior paint job.

Let me begin by saying it was sweltering hot in there. The salad was ok. The stuffed pizza wasn’t that great. Flavor was below average. Being from Chicago, it was quite the disappointment. Also a changing table in the bathroom would have been nice. There was no soap in the women’s bathroom and no paper towel in the men’s.

This place has the worst cleanliness standards for its employees. The guy I presume to be the owner blue hat gold watch, was eating food while making others food. Then the women cooking was handling money then going directly back to cooking. I saw no one wash their hands. And as I write this he just coughed in the ingredient fridge. They need a health inspection asap!

Awful. Seriously. I am not being mean. I am being HONEST. This place is dirty, stinky and ghetto. And that is not even what turned me off or even what made me want to give 1 star/​bad review… its just so not worth anything they charge for their pizza.
Stuft pizza reminds me of a homeless shelter soup kitchen… they literally just want to stuff your ass with their cheapest ingredient, which would be the dough… Its a scam, they want you to think you are getting what u pay for.
Order thin crust if u want a normal pizza and also ask for extra cheese because the skimp on that too… BUT… Expect to pay extra for them to move their arms around more to make your crust thin… Or just be prepared to cut off 5 –7 inches of the crust. there was so much crust that I wasted tonight, it could have fed a small country!
We ordered a 4 topping pizza MEDIUM SIZED and it cost $ 20, that is 4 pieces each for two people… It didn’t even taste cooked. Usually pizza is greasy and crispy… This stuff is just toasted. They have 30 Employees working in that kitchen… No wonder they can’t concentrate on perfecting a pizza, there is too many ppl working stupid and useless positions. The employees are not even personable. They suck and dont have any character. So many crappy reviews and nothing has changed here… I will NEVER COME HERE AGAIN, and most importantly this food disgusts me. Its for overweight people who have no true taste buds & just like to stuff their mouth
