Beautiful store, great service. Purchased a pair of Minntonka boots, got them home and realized that one had some flaws (as handmade stuff can). I called Diane and she ordered another pair and called me promptly when they came in to come back and exchange them.
This family business is worth your time. Anyone can buy a pair of shoes from Nordstroms, but you will not get the warm experience nor will you support a local business. Win, win.

The White Pelican is located in the Dana Point Harbor. My husband and I purchased two very unique and colorful canes at this store. We were in the store to purchase yet another beautiful cane when the owner noticed that the old cane my husband was using which was purchased from the White Pelican Gallery was discolored and faded. She said that shouldn’t have happened, and offered to contact the cane company for us to see what could be done. I was pleasantly surprised with her offer to make this right. We were there to buy our third cane… not to complain! I never expected that level of customer service! Thank you and KUDOS to The White Pelican for going above and beyond our expectations!
