Our new favorite burger place hands down. So much more interesting than the usual cheeseburgers. Juicy burgers! Gourmet ketchups! Attentive staff! And the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had. Nice to go to a local place run by a great guy with delicious food at decent prices.

To address what could be some concerning comments regarding Bick’s burger: first off, the size, while it appears to be small in it’s size, it is quite filling and quite flavorful. Which brings me to my other point. Bick does a mix of chuck, boneless beef short rib, and brisket, the result-one very flavorful and unique burger. So if you’re used to just your everyday straight up chuck burger, this may throw you off a bit. But it’s SOOOGOOD! Fireworks slaw, and the zucchini pickles added even more flavor, that didn’t overpower the burger. You can tell everything is fresh, and is made with love and care. We will definitely become regulars, as there are so many different combinations one could make with all of the different toppings and buns. And the perfect drink to wash it all down, especially on a warmer day, basil lemonade. Yum!

My new favorite burger joint! Love the Sriracha aioli! Staff is super friendly, burgers are fantastic and the fries are hand cut, fresh and crispy! Will be back again and again.

Burgers were very, very good, but two burgers and one order of fries and two sodas came to $ 30? It was too expensive. Fries were not crisp, I prefer crisp fries. Not much of an atmosphere here. Good for a quick burger. Burgers were also very small.

Following the lead from my buddies over at I went to Bick’s in Danbury and I was really glad I did. The burger at Bick’s is one of the finest in the area. The interior is NJ Diner from the 50−60′s with its four red and white booths and ten swivel bar stools overlooking the griddle. The base price of $ 6.95 rises quickly as you can choose from five cheeses($ 1.25), eight sauces($ 0.75), other toppings($ 1.50) including three different varieties of onions, avocado, bacon olive tapenade, mushroom ragout or fireworks slaw, served on your choice of sesame, potato, house-made brioche or a truffle brioche. I ordered my traditional bacon cheeseburger with American and caramelized onions on a brioche with umami ketchup. With a choice of either regular French fries or sweet potato fries, I asked for half-half on the fries. The burger was outstanding. The meat delivered a deep, beefy flavor, the grind was loose and the patty was perfectly prepared with a char on the exterior and medium-rare on the interior. The onions were buttery soft and sweet, delicious, and the thick-cut bacon added just a touch of saltiness without overwhelming the meat. The cheese was melted and the brioche brought great buttery flavor in a soft and moist bun. The umami ketchup delivered a wonderful earthiness to the burger. The French fries were hand-cut on the premises and were fantastic. They were crisp on the outside and soft and moist on the interior and the flavors were excellent. You do not need any ketchup to enjoy these fries. The sweet potato fries were very good, but compared to the regulars, well, I would order a full order of the regulars. If you want to add spice, order the Cactus ketchup, it has a great kick. Bick’s is serving one outstanding burgerand the fries are equally on par.

I just ordered from here and was excited to experience this new place. Sadly, I was severely let down! I got a burger, the fried buttermilk chicken sandwich and a brownie. I feel like my wallet was robbed. The burger is small, not at all what I was expecting for the price including the giant up-charge for topping such a tomato and lettuce. I didn’t see any real good flavor profile in this burger, it was just a mediocre burger, even the bacon I added didn’t hit my mouth with flavor. Now onto the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich, while the flavor of the chicken is there as well as the zucchini pickles which added a nice ting; the«fireworks» slaw was not appetizing what so ever. It seemed to be just shredded cabbage, no flavor and was too raw for me. Slaw usually has some sort of dressing that’s noticeable and the cabbage has had time to break down a bit, this did not at all. Like I said these burgers/sandwiches were small, too small for the amount paid. Opening the container to the burger I thought I had been sent a slider to try out! Lastly was the cappuccino brownie. It was good but wayyyy too expensive for the size. It was thin not even an inch thick and looked uniform as if the cosmic brownie company made it. I was expecting a bigger slice for $ 3.25. I will not be returning my service to this place.

This is the place to catch a bite to eat — burgers, hot dogs, chicken, pulled pork and so much more… made by Chef Mike Bick, his son, Ian and their team. Everything is made to order with care and attention to detail. Truly unique, with a yummy taste, like nothing you have experienced in the past! Work the trip to downtown Danbury… As the spring comes, have a burger, some fries and enjoy it out on the green! They even have a wonderful veggie burger…
