My second time eating here and the prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. I like that the combination plates come with an egg roll and a bowl of soup. Wonton or egg drop.

Been ordering takeout here for a while now just because the food is always so amazing, the only reason I give it 4⁄5 stars is because when I call they speak very very fast and I feel rushed, but just know your order prior to calling and you should be fine! Overall awesome place to get your Chinese food!

I feel like a lot of Chinese takeout places catch a lot of flak for being… well, Chinese takeout. It’s a shame too because there’s always one or two good ones in a sea of about a dozen in any particular city. Great Wall is among those one or two. We’ve been ordering takeout from here as a family ever since I could remember and never had any complaints about the food. The only gripe I have is whenever I call in for an order I usually feel rushed and sometimes never get the full bill amount unless I ask for it. In time though, I’ve grown accustomed to it, and you’d totally understand as well if you physically came to pick up your food. The woman who manages Great Wall, and I’m assuming owns it, runs the show. If she’s not answering calls she’s taking care of customers at the registers, if not that, she’s cooking, if not that, she’s packing up food, etc. There’s usually one or two other chefs in the back cooking other dishes, but she does an awesome job keeping that place in line. She’s usually a pretty nice person as well. I’m a pretty big fan of the majority of Great Wall’s menu, but I always end up falling back to the Singapore Mei Fun and asking for it extra spicy. The thin noodles cooked with curry and shrimp really take over the dish and there’s a blast of flavor coming from both sides when you take a bite. The curry is super potent, but it’s not overkill, so the general experience is rather delightful. Not to mention, the portion size is huge, easily enough for two meals. Along with the mei fun, I also recommend the lo mein, the hot and sour soup, the ribs, and the pork fried rice. Probably my favorite Chinese takeout in the area, give it a try sometime.
