A great place for middle eastern food. The food is great, but the show-stealer is the bakery. The desserts are fantastic and the selection is incredible. Come for the food and stay for the dessert. The atmosphere is relaxed which is pleasant. You can’t leave without having some kibbe. They’re fairly inexpensive, but delicious. Enjoy!

We drive from central Connecticut to NYC all the time and this is a stop we always look forward to. The food is so good. Amazing falafel, humus, and many other Lebanese specialties. Really nice people work here too. If you are in the area take exit 2. It’s just up the road from Trader Joes and Starbucks.

Never fails. Always delicious. From shawarma salad to the delicious coffee and baklava.

Kibbe just like back home in Lebanon and variety that I havent seen yet in the US: lentil, potato, pumpkin… Do yourself a favor and try them all. The tabbouleh is authentic as hell and the spicy falafel are a must. Lovely service and vibe, nothing like munching on some Lebanese food with Fairouz playing in the background and photos of Rawche on the walls. Definitely comin back while in Danbury.

I stopped by for dinner based upon the great Unilocal reviews — you typically can’t go wrong at a 4 star establishment! That being said — I’m not sure what people are raving about. I ordered the falafel salad(and after seeing the Unilocal photos was super excited about it). It comes in a pita bowl which is neat and the falafel itself was actually really, really good, but the rest of the salad was so boring! Simple shredded iceberg and a mount of watery, flavorless tomatoes. I was so hungry I finished it, but was not super satisfied. This place is ok and would probably be good for lunch, or with a different dish from what I ordered, but the salad itself needs some help. Servers were friendly and quick, they are doing a great job. My review all comes down to the salad!

Very fresh food! The meat used in the beef kabob was tender and delicious. The falafel was also excellent. We enjoyed the hummus and accompaniments and definitely look forward to returning. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I agree with other reviewers that the whole experience would be improved by having regular(not plastic) utensils and also by having the staff bus the tables.

I find myself aligning with the other reviewers who rate this place in the middle of the pack. The are some really good things going on here. The red pepper humus and black olive humus were both excellent, as was the chicken(very moist when we visited). The lamb was also good and the emulsified garlic, oil and lemon sauce was a surprise treat. I almost laughed out loud when I read the reviews(while waiting for our food) that compared the décor to an airport lounge — because it’s so true! I also did not like the plastic utensils and plates. It cheapened the experience and subjectively lowered my enjoyment of what was very tasty food. Some of the prices are a little high given the cafeteria service style and plastic acoutrements, but not all and not ridiculously so. I wish I could give 3.5 stars and we will probably try it again to sample different things on the menu but this place seems much more suitable for a more casual lunch experience.

I just might be addicted to the falafel pocket. It’s my go to item on the menu and it always fills me up. I haven’t really tried some of the other items but if you’re vegetarian or vegan(they offer vegan tahini) the falafel pocket is the way to go!

Kibberia is one of my favorites — thanks the seriously delicious food and the lovely family behind it all. The schwarma salad is my current go to dinner. The meat is deftly spiced and sits warm under crisp lettuce and onions. The tahini dressing is creamy and adds the right amount of flavor. I add feta(at the suggestion of the smart guy behind the counter!) which is exactly perfect. My previous favorite is the steak kabobs which come with the most magical white garlic sauce. I’ll be back to that one I’m sure.

Not very authentic more like fast food. Okay dishes with a large variety of desserts but flavor isnt there for me.

We found this place when I first started u new job in Brewster, NY. Have been wanting to try it for about 3 months now. I always got outvoted and got some generic American/Italian eatery with my co-workers. Today I was by myself and decided to go to this establishment to try it. Good thing I did it was great, I am from Bulgaria so I know some of the items(have different name but same taste basically) I got the beef and lamb kafta pocket, a beef kibbe, a date stuffed cookie. It came out to be about $ 11 with tax. When I got out with my order and drove with the food, the smell started making me to salivate. I got to work a 10 minute drive I sat down and started chowing; no looking around no cell phone just honest eating and tasting the great food. This was fantastic food, there were only two problems with this I didn’t get enough food(I wanted more this) and they do not deliver which would of made great.

Kibberia has me hooked. Kibberia’s tabouleh, hummus, rice, chicken, and FALAFELS omg the FALAFELS are just incredibly tasty. Their food tastes clean and does not leave you feeling greasy and bloated. Their salads are very refreshing, going well with their meats and falafels. Their Baklava alone is good enough to start a dessert shop. Can’t say enough good things about Kibberia.

Really deserves 3.75 stars. Good middle eastern fast food joint. The food is a bit on the expensive side, especially if you are like me and like to sample around, but quite a bit of fresh air in a city that has every fast food joint around and very little outside the American or Italian options on the take out side. The falafel isn’t the best I’ve had, but it is perfectly respectful and you can’t go wrong with the spicy falafel option. Several types of hummus are also available and quite delicious(although really, have you ever found bad hummus?). I’ve also sampled many of the pies offered and can’t get enough of the spinach and feta pie. They offer several flat breads that look delicious but I haven’t gotten around to sampling any of them yet. My biggest complaint is definitely that they stopped making the stuffed grape leaves. So tasty and I don’t know anywhere else around to get the fresh hot variety. Sure, Whole Foods sells them, but they are cold and no where near as good. I also do t like the way they cut their chicken up for certain types of salads. It taste delicious but looks like cat food.

Defiantly a good choice if you need something quick. Every time I’m out that way, I get the falafel salad. It’s delicious, they have a selection of tasty treats at the end if the meal and every one of them taste great. The place is bright and cheerful and the staff is always friendly.

Pros: delicious, consistent, fun, fast, online ordering, diverse menu Cons: weird hours(closes at 8 during the week) I’ve wanted a cabbage and lentil salad for dinner twice on a Thursday at 8pm. Not even kidding. What’s up with that? Something about 8pm makes me crave iron apparently… anyway– try the cabbage and lentil salad, it’s good. The stuffed pies are awesome too. What more is there to say?

Pleasant, airy, colorful interior. The club chairs are super comfortable. I really don’t like the order/waiter set up. It’s confusing & disorganized. The food was ok. Nothing amazing. The flat breads & the spicy falafal were the best things on the menu. I didn’t care for their tabbouleh salad– it was mushy, the chicken kibbie was flavorful but didn’t like the consistency. Hummus was average. Babaganoush was good. They serve Lebanese wine & beer which we all liked. Sorry, but Layla’s Falafel is excellent & over all way, way better.
