This Super 8 wasn’t too bad, and my room was fairly clean. The only problem was, there was a pair of dirty boxer briefs hanging on the hook behind the bathroom door. EWW! When I went to the front desk, the staff seemed genuinely concerned and apologetic and offered me a completely new room. They received points for that! But they get three stars because, how do you miss underpants?!

While not expensive for area, it is very difficult to exit to 84, the breakfast is almost non-existent, the parking lot was full of some other companies trucks, I saw a cockroach and the blankets were the thinnest i have ever seen.

Pros: The beds were firm and actually comfortable. The linens were clean. Cons: Our toilet didn’t flush properly, and ended up clogged after only a handful of uses. The hairdryer was broken and we ended up drying our hair on the heater by the window. Only one lamp in the room worked. The continental breakfast was meager. There was no restroom in the lobby.

Yes, I am a fan of this Super 8. I was cranky and tired when I pulled in to this place. The regional manager just happened to be there this evening and the guy was so polite and friendly. Here is the thing about the hotel… it is SOQUIET! What the heck did they build this thing out of? I stayed here two seperate nights in two seperate rooms(2nd and 4th floor). I did not hear any noise from anywhere. It was awesome! OK, it isn’t the nicest hotel on the planet but it was clean and it more than worked for me. The staff is great. I think I paid around $ 80 a night with the taxes and everything. Oh. and for Costco fans… there is one close by… in Brookfield. YAY!
