Less crowded than other Uniqlo stores like the one in Stamford. That said, the clerks are not trained in service which Uniqlo says they are famous for, being a Japanese brand. I used to frequent the brand but now because the staff is always too busy chatting each other up, I now frequent the store is Stamford! They are way nicer and still seem to understand which brand they represent! I would highly recommend Uniqlo to retrain their staff!!!

I hear a lot of people say that Uniqlo is like the Japanese version of H&M or Old Navy but I disagree. It’s much better quality than those two stores and slightly more expensive. I would say its more like how Gap used to be in the early 00s or 90s. Nothing too trendy, just very basic affordable clothes that are good quality for the price. Their linen modal tees are so comfy and keep you cool in the summer heat. Their ultra light down is pretty good for the price. Keeps me warm in about 30°F weather and is so conveniently light. Stay away from their $ 30 cashmere blends. Those suck. For you shorties out there they do free hemming on pants. Pretty sweet deal.

Compared to other uniqlo stores, this one wasn’t crowded with customers and store is spacious. Because of that, clothing were nicely arranged and easy to find. There were leggings that I wanted which was out of stock. I was disappointed to know that they didn’t give student discount as they do in other locations in Trumbull and Milford. Sales associate also denied me like I was dumb saying they do that at restaurants or movie theaters. If they take student discount they should at all locations! At least staff should be trained to be friendlier or be more polite to customers! 5 for store arrangement and cleanliness 4 for clothing stock 2 for service
