Selecting the right photographer for your wedding can be one of the MOST stressful decisions, your memories are in there hands. With very little experience in choosing wedding vendors, and limited references, I wanted to make sure the pictures came out great. When I met David and saw his work online– it was a no brainer. His work stood out and I knew I had to book him!
Dave was there through for the entire wedding planning experience, answering my questions and suggesting photo locations. The day of my wedding, David and his second photographer, Jen were simply outstanding. They were efficient and gracefully had our large (and a little rowdy!) wedding party organized and focused. They worked with us to determine what we wanted, and even climbed the rocks of the back shore in Gloucester MA to get the perfect shots, with the ocean in the background.
Dave went above and beyond and the pictures came out amazing– magazine quality! I would absolutely recommend Benoit and McCarthy to any bride. David is the ultimate professional to work with.

I was not surprised that the photos were so beautiful. When I went to their studio with my parents while looking for a wedding photographer, I was completely impressed by their work — it is so artistic, so carefully done, and so, so beautiful. Meeting and planning with David and Gaby was so easy, and they were always on top of every detail. On the day of the wedding David and Tom did our photography. They were such a pleasure to work with — they were well acquainted with the venue at which we were getting married, so they were quick to make suggestions of locations for photos. They were excellent in directing everyone on how to look their best, for a variety of poses — formal, serious and fun — in a variety of locations. We ended up with LOADS of photos — they gave us a grouping of the 250 best, plus all the rest– now the hard part is choosing which ones we wan to put into an album book!
I cannot recommend these photographers any more highly — they were probably the best people we worked with for our whole wedding — from start to finish they were a joy to work with and really care about the work that they do. True professionals, and now we have the most gorgeous photos to last us a lifetime.
