Just Ok. I’ve been to a few too many Big Lots stores throughout the state and this one is my second least favorite, Bridgewater is the worst. Not only is this location always a bit more crowded than others, they never have enough registers open, and usually have less stock than other Big Lots(i.e. — Franklin, Milford) I don’t think I’d come back.

I only give one star because I have to… it won’t let me give 0. Dirty store, cheap crap, and the employees fit right in. Cashier 1395514 is the worst type of customer service I have ever expierienced in my entire life. Rude, obnoxious, and dirty-not just dirty looking-actual dirty clothes and her hands were filthy! No please or thank you-she threw my purchases in a bag and then tossed the bag! Really! Why would anyone hire someone like this! I will never go back and will warn all my friends! Gross!

This past weekend while my partner was shopping at David’s Bridal, I decided to stop in at this Big Lots location to look for some goods for our house. As I wandered through the store I was amazed at how large it was and at how diverse their selection was. Unlike some other Big Lots locations I have been to, this particular store was well stocked, organized, and clean. They had a ton of deals and they actually had a lot of items in their furniture section. The staff here was really polite, but they were a bit slow when it came to checking people out. This was the only slight inconvenience we had, but for what it was worth, it had to have been the best Big Lots I have been to.

James, a sales rep in the Danvers Big Lots, helped me so much. He is wonderful – he made me feel that Big Lots is a place I can buy with confidence and feel trust in the quality of the items. He was direct, clear, kind, and a great listener. Answered all of my questions with a genuine interest in helping me. I have visited many more expensive stores and almost never felt so positively about the company. I would buy a whole store full of things from this man. Thanks, James, for an amazing shopping experience! You’re the best.

I have an affinity with Big Lots. Growing up in rural PA, it was our go to Building #19. In fact, I didn’t even know they were a chain until I moved up here. Then they seemed to grow out of nowhere and classed themselves up a bit while actually having a TV marketing campaign! It’s tough to describe the store to people that have never been there. I guess their business strategy is to buy up overstocked items or liquidations from out of business retailers… I’m sure there is info out on the web somewhere that can explain it better than I can. I love buying name brand items on the cheap, so seeing my favorite deodorant, shampoos and things like that always makes me happy. It can be hit or miss, these things won’t ALWAYS be stocked… but it’s always smart to check. The furniture section is also a can’t miss. Even though I recently bought an entirely new living room set, I oogle at the sectionals and coffee tables they carry at super low prices and wish I had another room to furnish. My last trip there, I scored five items for less than $ 8. They included a package of sponges, side mirrors for my car, deli bags for packed lunches and a few other things I can’t remember. Anyway, the total absolutely shocked me, the most expensive item was the sponges at $ 2. Even Wally World can’t compare to the deals you can get at Big Lots. It’s not going to be the cleanest store and some people may be turned off by the bargain hunter experience… but the little retail shopping I do is all ABOUT the bargain hunt and that’s why they get a solid 4 stars from me.

You can get some great deals here. Just beware on brand names items know what they cost else ware because sometime there is no savings. This is a place you can find different and unusual items!

Has a lot of household goods & random things at really cheap prices… Has several aisles of food with different weird items… They have great selections of spices & sauces, I seem to always pick some up when I go there… They have good seasonal items as well… Furniture there is fairly cheap as well(although I have never purchased anything major –I dont know if its cheaply made also)… All in all a good store, I frequent when Im in the area…

A great store for furniture but you have to hit it just right! A shipment of Thomasville can visit the store often. A good place to buy your summer supplies too… accessories for the pool, bubbles for the kids, Americana decorations. My big savings was a box of 50 slim hangers for only $ 20…the best price I have seen yet! Come September visit the store for school supplies. WARNING: The store can be messy at times. Sign up for their newsletter so you know when furniture is arriving.
