We came across this restaurant after looking for somewhere to eat in Danvers. We were pleasantly surprised when we sat down and saw the menu and saw the selection. The bartender was an a beautiful Italian woman that offered us some wine… we chose between Malbec and a Pinot. We then both ordered the arugula salad and the Amish boneless chicken. We were amazed at the presentation and when we tasted the food… oh my gosh! This was he best meal I can remember eating – and I travel extensively. The chicken was so tender and moist… the skin was delicious and crispy. It literally melts in your mouth! We were so impressed with the entrees that we decided to try some desserts. After being presented by the chef, we followed his recommendation and decided on a peach tart that had raspberry reduction and Madagascar vanilla ice cream. It was fabulous! We finished up with a warm cup of cappuccino. We were so impressed with the meal and the conversation from the owners, we returned the next day and was excited to be able to chat and enjoy the company of the owners once again. If you are in the Danvers area, do not miss this place and be sure to have some discussions with the owners. They are fabulous people that showed us amazing hospitality.

Went to IPazzi for a business dinner meeting tonight and cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. It is about the 4th or 5th time I have been here and I always have a great experience. The service was perfect and the food delicious. I started with the fig appetizer and it was fantastic. I am not usually a big fan of figs but these were done to perfection. For the main course, I had the fettuccine with shrimp. The shrimp were good sized and cooked perfectly. The sauce was delicious and the pasta was cooked just as pasta should be. For desert, which I usually skip, I had the raspberry cheesecake sorbet. I was not sure what to expect from a sorbet that was raspberry & cheesecake flavored and was surprised to find it great. It was the right way to end a wonderful dinner.

My husband & I went for dinner and quite enjoyed our meals. I got an excellent risotto(they’ll make it however you want with whatever you want in it… I just wanted a vegetable risotto) it came out to me in a skillet, it was HUGE and delicious!!! And my husband got the tagliatelle & pancetta, he normally doesn’t finish a meal(just not a big eater) he ate the whole meal and loved every bite!!! Somewhat limited menu, but the food was amazing, what you’d get in the North End, but in the comfort of Danvers. It was quite expensive as well… but we splurged anyway. It was a tiny restaurants with not that many tables.

I’ve been to I Pazzi atleast 25 times and have never once been disappointed with my food or service. Caprese salad is sooo good and raviolis and cream sauce is my favorite! All of the seafood and pasta dishes I’ve tried have been delicious and I normally am not a big red sauce person but I actually like there’s! Cute and cozy little atmosphere if you’re looking for a nice date night or just a place to go with a couple friends. Whatever it may be if you’re looking for a delicious, freshly made Italian/Mediterranean meal you now know where to go!

The pasta was homemade and the service polite. Food was good, but having grown up in predominantly Italian areas where food like this isn’t hard to come by, there probably could have been a little less oil to our pasta and mushroom dish, and maybe a little less sauce to the ravioli. A solid experience and I would be open to coming back after seeing what else is in the area.

Service was very good. Company was great. Food left a lot to be desired. Gnocchi was bland and tasteless, sauce was terrible and very acidic. My salon fish was very salty. the the polenta was just good. 2nd time there. I wanted to like it, but I was disappointed the first time, and unfortunately again.

Food was fantastic, you won’t be disappointed with anything you order. However I’m docking 2 stars for the subpar and extremely slow service and overall disorganization of the staff, as well as the outrageous prices. $ 46 for a ribeye? $ 17 for mussels/clams app? This place is all about getting the highest margins and you sense that throughout your meal. I get it, but if you’re going to charge those kind of prices, you need to shine in the service department, which this place does not.

My grandparents took me here for dinner the other day and you could tell it was their favorite restaurant. The waiters seemed to know them, and the service, wine, and food were equally impressive. The pastas are homemade and you can taste literally how fresh they are. I ordered the linguine vongole(clams), my grandmother had the Amish chicken which came with pasta, and my grandfather had the linguine puttanesca, which they prepared in a white sauce. My grandmother’s favorite dish there is their figs which is stuffed with mascarpone cheese and rolled in prosciutto. It melts in your mouth and she raves about it every time. I had asparagus parmigiana, which was to die for, and for dessert we ordered the pistachio and coconut gelato which were super fresh and actually tasted like pistachios and coconuts. The scoop of pistachio was creamy, rich, and had a light smoky flavor to it. My grandmother ordered their tiramisu which had a light coffee flavor to it. It had the perfect balance between moist and just dense enough so it wouldn’t fall apart. The wine was not too dry and this place has a menu devoted to cocktails, a separate wine list, and more. My grandmother said, «It might look like a pizzeria from the outside, but don’t worry, this is a really nice place!» It looked and was fantastic. There was a group of fifteen engineers sitting in the back who were having a fun time. It was funny because of the fifteen, there was one woman who sat at the head. If you want to propose to your partner, have a family outing, or just enjoy some high quality Italian food, this is the place to go.

Surprise… walk in Friday night restaurant with excellent food. We had clams and mussels appetizer and the grilled calamari salad to start. The calamari was huge and delicious and could have been a meal in itself, I had a rigatoni dish with zucchini and other veggies. Nice thick pasta and the veggies were not too mushy in the tomato sauce. My partner had the rigatoni Bolognese with boar. Though he is a bit skittish to try new food, he loved his meal. The service was terrific and bread good. The owners have opened a new gelato store and kept the dessert menu very limited to that. It was good, but what if you don’t like gelato? Great neighborhood spot. We will go back.

The homemade ravioli’s was good, ground beef in a brown butter sauce with pistachios. Very generous amount of ravioli’s. Found it interesting our server offered to refill bread for another table but not to us. We normally would have ordered an appetizer, but nothing appealed to me. We had ordered(4) sodas, which were not even that fixxy or large and were amazed to see $ 10 charge on out bill, $ 2.50 for each soda. If you are going to charge for soda at least get a high end bottled soda to servce. I am always amazed to see servers pretensious about working in a restaurant, seriously. It was also very odd at the end of dinner how she did little speech about owner opening a gelato place and gave to each us of us a business card, how classless and tacky. I will not return or recommend.

My girlfriend and I had a great experience here. Although carpaccio is on the website they no longer offer it which was a bummer. We shared a caprese salad that was delicious. The fresh bread was good and served with a little dish with options of balsamic vinegar and olive oil, Parmesan cheese, and red chili flakes. I enjoyed homemade ravioli and a few bites of my friend’s dish which was beef and ricotta. The waitstaff was lovely and attentive. It is pricey but the meal was excellent.

I can’t believe I have never reviewed them for Unilocal. This is one of our favorite places to go ANYWHERE! This is an extraordinarily GREAT restaurant, I am forever thankful of my friend who first brought me there for lunch, many years and many meals ago! Everything is exquisite; the owners, their children, the wait staff(especially Sanir!) the atmosphere and the FOOD! Fresh, creative, delicious, always too many delicious choices! We have our favorites that we could eat every night, but there’s always something new to try, too! Definitely a place to taste everyone’s! And, the gelato… I even missed it when I was indulging in Italy! I need more stars to help you understand how great this restaurant is!

My father is a big fan of this place, so he took me here during a visit. Overall, the food is fantastic. The eggplant tower appetizer was delicious, and I adored the scallop dish I got. Their freshly made pasta is simply fantastic. I am docking a star because the service was very slow, and at times, very rude. One of the waitresses grabbed a dish out of our hands while we were talking, and when we tried to make conversation when she returned, it was clear she was just looking over our heads and not interested. Also, PASS on the caprese salad. I have had many a caprese salad and this one was sub par.

I am a huge fan of this restaurant. Interesting and well executed menu. Creative drinks and thoughtful wine list. Many healthy, flavorful organic and interesting entrees. The caprese salad is sublime. Attentive and proactive service. The sign outside makes it looks like a pizza joint– this combined with it being in Danvers — might lead you to believe it’s a lower end place. Not at all. This restaurant could compete anywhere. Highly recommended.

Beautiful restaurant and atmosphere. Entrees are very thick, you will be filled up. Seems to be a popular spot since many of the items we attempted to order were sold out. A little pricey but provides a romantic environment. It is dressy attire, make sure to prepare accordingly. Gelato is amazing!

As good as the first visit! Good news. The ambiance was better. They’ve turned down the light!!! Also, my fish(Chilean sea bass) was to die for, although pricy(32−35… Can’t remember). I also think they need to come up with a better side. There’s a reason people are leaving over half of it on the plate. Again… Good pasta. Fig appetizer was good, but a tad pricey at $ 12 for 2 figs(cheese and prosciutto).
