Stay in the area once a month for work, and felt like some Thai on this occasion. Looked like their menu fit what I was specifically looking for best so I decided to check them out. Got the«create your own» basil with chicken which was great. My only complaint was that I got it to go and they put the noodles in a separate container. When I got back to my hotel the noodles had taken on the shape of the box that they were in and were difficult to mix with the chicken, sauce and veggies. Tasted very good nevertheless. Crab Rangoon was excellent and they pair it perfectly with the pineapple sauce. I had some wine at the bar while I waited for my food to finish and the service was great, they didn’t even make a face with my constant indecisiveness and order changing! Also they had no problem honoring the 20 percent off the bill for checking in on Unilocal.I’ll definitely hit them up again next month!

I’ve been here many times. No matter what I’ve ordered, it was always delicious. Love the iced Thai tea. The town needs more handicapped parking.

Great service great presentation great atmosphere. However when it came to the meal that I had there was nothing spectacular about it. From the appetizers to the entrée everything had an overwhelming peanut flavor to it. My entrée looked nice beef was well cooked and the vegetable seemed fresh however the sauce was bland and left nothing to the imagination of flavor. Maybe next time I’m in town I’ll try another dish The overall experience definitely warrants a second chance.

We love this place! The food is the best I’ve had in New England. The prices are VERY reasonable. The staff is always very pleasant. The crab Rangoon is a must! The yellow chicken curry is delicious as well. Despite the 20 minute ride for us, we order out here about once a month.

This place was great. We were sat right away and helped right away. Everything we ate tasted FRESH! We had the crab Rangoon that came with a pineapple sauce. It was delish and the crab meat was good. The ginger dressing on the salad was good. We had the Honey sesame chicken as on entrée… It was so GOOD!

We’ve been here many times before but this last time was different. Reservations were useless. In the past, we had almost always gotten the table I requested but when we arrived, there were no reserved tables and they never looked at a reservation list. Each time a dish came, it was brought by a different person who quickly disappeared, No one came over during the meal to refill water glasses or to make sure everything was okay, which it wasn’t. The Thai rolls were burnt. The Pad Thai, always my favorite was dry and had no crushed peanuts. The rest of the food was bland. It seemed as though everything had changed and not for the better, the waitstaff, the service, and the cooks. Too bad because this use to be my favorite Thai restaurant.

I grew up in Danvers, and I haven’t quite found a Thai food place as good as this one. First of all, the quality of the food here is amazing. Between their noodle dishes and their duck dishes, I have never been wronged. I love that their food always contains the perfect consistency of moisture, which can be a faulting point for other Thai restaurants in having dry noodles or rice. Second, the décor here is gorgeous. Sawasdee truly embraces its brick wall and has so elegantly decorated the location. Also, they were smart enough to put heavy curtains by the door in order to block out any drafts during the winter time. Can I take a second to appreciate the usage of the paper for the straws, and how they roll it into an origami rose to top the straw with as the servers bring out your drink? Every time I go back to my hometown, I either stop by to eat here, or pick something up for takeout to bring back into the city.

Great place for lunch! Prices are great, food was delicious. Service could’ve been better. Upon trying Thai food for the first time I needed a few extra minutes to look over the menu. My waitress came to our table 4 times to ask if we were ready to order yet. Then was quick to take our plates as I was still chewing my meal. I felt a bit rushed. Second time there, we went for dinner. we waited over 15 minutes before our drink order was retrieved. Other than that service was fine, food still delicious!

In the area on business and this restaurant did not disappoint. They were out of Fresh rolls so the waitress suggested Thai calamari appetizer which was lightly friend and crispy without being greasy. I had the Drunken Noodles as an entrée and they were delicious. Service was prompt and friendly. I’ll definitely eat here again next time I’m in town.

The service is great and one of the better places for variety outside of pizza and pub food in Danvers. I really enjoy the pad thai. The dish is enough for 2 meals. The price of nearly $ 10.00 compensates for that fact. The beer imported from Thailand is a much try as is the thai iced coffee.

Loved the scallion dumpling, scallion pancake and shrimp in a blanket. Hated the soggy vegetable tempura and mushy shrimp dumplings but the above loves will bring us back, if we’re in the area.

Love the food and the location. Have to try crab Rangoon, gyoza for apps. The Lunch menu is awesome– soups, apps and meal are best I’ve had and I’m a huge Thai fan!
