I think the last review (considering it was almost two years ago) must have been when this place was under a different manager! I love this place! It is the best kept little gem in blackhawk! You can always find a smile on the face of the staff and they really know their stuff when it comes to helping you find a wine you will like! Add that to the intimate atmosphere, the weekly events and the live Jazz on friday and what more could you want?! They always have fun things open on the bar and there is never a shortage of things to taste! I would highly reccomend this place to anyone who has never been, who LOVES wine, or is just looking for something fun to do after work! Cheers!

I heard about this wine shop/​tasting bar from friends in Danville so I gave it a try. Walking in the door it looked like a pretty run down warehouse sort of building. The wine selection was OK but I was treated like a bother to the guy behind the counter. He was having what seemed like a loud personal conversation with someone else at the bar who was clearly way more important than me. This is really not a place to go for wine or atmosphere when there are so many other choices. Not to mention the fact that it is just a boxy room in a strip mall.
