The best thing about this company and the product is it does what I want, which is to keep our pets out of the pool. The Baby Barrier also gives me a little peace of mind about having young children in our backyard. However, my compliments end there. I will take ¼ the blame for the bad review because I didn’t make absolutely clear what I wanted, plus I couldn’t be here during the install. My son and husband were here. But, I called severl times to rectify my issues. Out of the 3 or 4 calls I made over 2+ years, only one was returned with a promise to send someone to talk about my issues. It is a challenge for me to make these phone calls because I can’t call at work or take a return call. My husband will not call them because it was my idea to have this installed. Well, we never have received a return visit or a call back, since. My issues: 1. I cannot remove the fencing easily, as promised. My husband has to do it and he has a hard time because the poles are so tight you have to pull with more strength than I have. 2. When we met for a quote, I said I wanted two gates. Because it would add to the cost, they and my husband talked me out of it. However, I told them I did not want the gate in the shallow end of the pool. I wanted it next to the spa, which gets used more often. Guess where it was… I can’t pull out the fence, so on a cold night, I am discouraged from using my pool and spa! 3. Not an issue any longer, but we had to fish concrete pieces out of the bottom of the pool. Sloppy work! At this point, I have gotten out the drill to try and loosen the holes for the poles. I have almost burnt up one of my husbands expensive drills. I only completed two sections of fence before I gave up, for now. The worst part about this is my husband’s desire to just remove it, because it is an eyesore when we have company. I thought the owners were lovely people and wish I could say better.
