This was my favorite candy store as a child. I vividly remember the giant lollipops, bubble gum cigars, snow globes, and delightful whimsical décor. The fact that it’s been open for as long as I can remember speaks volumes. There’s nothing not to love about this candy shop!

I just called and this store has been closed for 2 or 3 years now. They still sell things on a website though.

Leave this for the last stop if you or your companions are sweet fans or risk being sticky for the rest of the shopping experience. A mix of traditional candy shop and gift shop that has really grown as a gift & collectibles show over the years. Many of our nutcrackers and family ornaments have come from here as well as a lot of grandma’s candy gifts. Truffles and gummies were always a favorite. A wonderful representation of regional artists and artisan work along with various world famous figurine producers. And like most places in the mercantile… family owned.

Wow, the Livery needs some Unilocaling love… This is another one of those mom and pop joints in Danville. Nice owner-super nice with a sense of humor. Even though there is candy here-some dipped chocolates behind a glass case, gummy like stuff, and misc. wrapped candy as well(hard to find stuff-not the regular M&M’s, etc.), I have never bought candy here. I have, however, bought several gifts from here. From ornaments to snow-globes, and other misc. stuff. I guess this Jim Shore guy is a big deal with the folks around here. There are tons of stores that sell his«art», but this one seems to have the best selection around.
