I love this place. It is decorated really neat, eclectic. I got the Bloody Mary and made mine with their Bloody Mary bar. Yum, great selection! The mahi-mahi is the best fish sandwich I have ever had. Huge piece of fish with really different toppings that work well together on awesome bread. The patty melt was really good too. Friendly staff. If I am ever in the area again, I will be there.

Whatta FUN place. We went to see my favorite female vocalist Maggie Koerner and it was FANTASTIC. It was a perfect venue with about 75 – 80 tickets sold. We sat 3′ from Maggie and loved the place and the service. I highly recommend going there for any reason. I’ve heard the burgers are great although we didn’t eat. Super cool stuff to look at EVERYWHERE.

Really wish it was still under the old ownership. The service was some of the worst I have had in recent memory. My party was there 15 minutes before we received our drinks. Once we ordered that was the last time we saw our waitress until we had to go find her to try and pay. Never came back to check on us or refill drinks. The food was very bland and just didn’t do it. Ordered a grilled shrimp po boy and the shrimp had very little taste. Another in our party ordered the patty melt and did his was also very bland. I would not recommend this place.

Awful service. Food was salty, so salty. We got the chicken sandwich with pepper jack… not sure it was that nor did it even cover the sandwich. I ordered a Titos vodka tonic. Not sure there was vodka in there at all, asked for lots of limes and got a tiny wedge. French onion dip… really? Sooooo salty and just bland. I am so disappointed in what I thought would be an amazing experience.

Food and service was great. Had the reuben sand which with home made coleslaw. Looks like they reorganized the place since the last time I was here. Atmosphere is a lot better.

Great burgers. Consistently very good food and great atmosphere for kids and adults. We have sat inside and out… patio has about 6 – 8 tables that for 4 – 6 people comfortably. The place cleaned the clutter out of Mancis original yet kept enough to keep the ambiance with the original feel. One of the best burgers on the eastern shore and their chicken sandwich is awesome, as well. Had the special of tomato, goat cheese and bacon. Was so tasty.

I have tried to like this place. I have. But even under new ownership, it is terrible. I ordered a burger. I now know what a Kingsford charcoal briquette tastes like. It was burned black and the bacon was deep fried and black as well. The chicken sandwich my husband ordered was equally burnt, and insultingly, it was a thin slice of a chicken breast, not even a whole piece. It was a single slice of burnt, shaved chicken on a plain bun with a single piece of wilted, slimy lettuce. At least it was cleaner than the last time I went. I was told this place is supposed to have waiter service, but I had to beg the bartender to bring me this slop. After nearly 40 minutes, we got our«food». I guess we had to wait so long so they could char it into oblivion.
I truly cannot believe the the owners of two of my favorite places took it over. I know what they are capable of, and this is not it.

It feels odd going in and not seeing Alex Manci behind the bar, but we still love it. The owners of Callahan’s Irish Social Club and Rosie’s Grill joined together to save this legendary bar and burger joint. We went for the first time right after they reopened. At that time, the menu was pretty limited. We started with the tuna dip, then both ordered burgers. We were not the least bit disappointed. The tuna dip was amazing and the burgers were as good as always. The last time we were there, they had expanded the menu and I opted for the Big Kahuna sandwich. This was a blackened mahi filet on Gambino’s French bread, with a link of Conecuh sausage, tomatoes, chives and a special chive sauce. It was the bomb-diggity! One of my sons had a Reuben and enjoyed it. My other two guys stuck with burgers. You can’t go wrong with the big, thick, Angus burgers. They now have a very creative chef on staff and I have to admit, the food is even better than before. It was a gorgeous day and we went hoping for a spot on their newly improved patio, but all 5 or 6 tables were already taken. The patio is still pet friendly, so yay! The inside is cleaner and brighter, and we didn’t mind sitting inside and looking out the new windows. Even thought it’s cleaner and brighter, the new owners did a great job keeping the nostalgic feel of the place. The ambiance is still quite interesting, but it boasts far less«accessories» than before. The Jim Beam bottle collection still adorns the walls, along with some old prints of Manci’s and Daphne, as well as other collectibles. The prices haven’t changed much, so you’re looking at about $ 10-$ 15 per person. We don’t know the new servers yet, but they’re knowledgeable and attentive. Manci’s is still a fantastic option in old town Daphne!

Nice staff and neat décor. Apparently under new management. Food was fine but The Jezebel sauce doesn’t exist anymore and not DDD trip worthy.

We went to this place based off Diners Drive in and Dives. Completely new ownership not the same menu that is posted online. Completely disappointed. Good was okay, I definitely have had better. Nothing there is different from any other bar food.

My wife had the burger and I had a patty melt — both came highly recommended. They were both good. A couple tips for your first trip to Manci’s; sit at the bar or the first room, and enjoy a Fairhope 51 brew.

A good dive bar with a hit or miss menu. My bacon cheeseburger with pepper jack cheese was awesome. The hot pastrami sandwich was just okay. They also have a meager beer selection but at the time of this review they had only been reopened for about 2 weeks. So it will probably get better. The décor on the walls is my favorite part of the place. Just glancing around at the walls you get a local history lesson.

Still a great bar but the new menu is pathetic. There is a reason some things stay the same forever guys… Because they are great.
