I eat at this location about twice a month and it is has really improved over the past two years. The store was remodeled and it is looks good with the new TVs and updated seating. The staff is fast and friendly. However, I have one issue with all Burger Kings, STOP using the microwave. Lettuce, tomato and mayo should never go in the microwave.

We stopped in here en route to Myrtle Beach for a spot of dinner. A good place to grab food is hard to come by on the back roads of South Carolina, and that goes double when you need a place that’s vegeterian-friendly. Of all the burger chains out there, BK is the only one that actually offers a true veggie burger, so this is where we stopped. The restaurant and bathroom was clean, but the bathroom door in the men’s room was broken and would not remain closed, so anyone walking by would get a free show. Our order took a VERY long time to be placed, despite it not being busy at all. Food-wise, it was the same you would expect at any BK. I had a Whopper and it was ok, and the missus’ veggie burger was decent. We split an order of sweet potato fries which were kind of meh… I actually preferred their regular fries in the end. The lackluster service and broken down bathroom were both reasons to lower my expectations of this particular Burger King. We’ll definitely try harder to find a better meal option if traveling through the area again.
