This mall has really stepped it up! They are full of great go to stores. Express, Gap, old navy, justice for the kiddos. There’s a ton a new stores. There are a couple they could do without. Years ago this was getting pretty bad but not any longer! The whole place was buzzing. I’m kinda a get what you came for and get out shopper. I’m not a person that shops for hours. I usually have a plan. This Mall makes it easy for me to do that. :) It’s not Providence Place, but I did get some nice deals in several of the stores. Food court is ok. I’m not a fan of fast food. The Mall is clean and there’s not a lot of kids hanging out. I guess it shopping made easy here.:)

No thanks. This is the most dismal mall ever. It reminds me of the once popular Hawhorne Mall in L.A., that went to the wayside, became a ghost town, and was demo’d. From the patrons, to the retailer selection, to the décor, this place blows. As a rule of thumb, any mall that leases space to Pay Half, Charlotte Ruse and Wet Seal are malls made for kids and old folk. Seriously. I didn’t even realize there was still a such thing as Wet Seal or Charlotte Ruse — thought they went out in the 90s, but I digress Anyway, this place is a ghost town. The AMC is it’s only draw. If it weren’t for the AMC, i’m sure this place would be demo’d, as there would be nothing to justify its continued existence. Smh.

I was surprised by the inside after seeing the outside. A quick stroll around the mall and … I doubt I’ll come back unless I –need– something. Its your basic mall. Clean, general stores you’d expect to find, and nothing else. Only bonus is some good restaurants and the movie theater.

It’s great because it sucks. Let me break it down for you: Stores– Decent variety of stores. Extremely high number of mobile phone stores/vendors(MetroPCS/TMobile/Verizon/Radioshack/Best Buy Mobile) though. Good clothing stores. Gamestop is also always good. Shape– The mall is a slope. Literally. It goes downwards. I could roll a ball from the top(Macys) to the bottom(Sears). Mall Cops– Dartmall’s cops are old and/or fat. They couldn’t do anything, except one time I saw one of them yell«get off your skateboard» from the patrol car. Food– LOL!!! EDIT: I think I should explain. The food court is a JOKE. However there are enough eateries along old westport road and in New Bej to last you a while. Ambiance– The mall is clean but doesn’t play music. It’s strange. Also they got rid of the fountain and made a ‘smart lounge’ to charge your phones. AMC– I was going to leave a seperate review but I’ll do it here. AMC is getting renovated as of 2015. It’s going to get better. Don’t believe the negative Unilocal reviews until it gets revamped. Seriously. It’s going to serve alcohol. I’m drunk already. Drinks– The Dartmouth mall has an aunt annies and a froyo place. If you’re drunk, this is a great place to go. If you’re sober, aunt annies is bomb. People– Mixed bag. You get some crazies. You get some rich people. You get some college students.

This is your typical mall, with the same cast of characters for stores. The anchors are Macys, Sears and JC Penny as well as a Movie theatre. The food court is fairly skimpy and could use a few more options. It does appear to be well-maintained and quite clean and well-lit.

I was shocked at the lack of food court that was at this mall! I went to the Swansea mall not too long ago, and the food court is more stocked than the TWO places they have here. I shouldn’t be too shocked, if a Starbucks didn’t make it here though. Yes, a Starbucks closed down! You heard me, a Starbucks! The mall hosts a doggie pictures with Santa day, and that is the only time I have ever seen that mall dirty. Shame on you great dane owners! My pugs had poop bags and windex and paper towels ready to go(or maybe I had them but whatever)! Anyways, this place still has an old navy, FYE, and yankee candle, to name a few brand name stores. So it’s still worth it to say«let’s go to the mall to pick it up».

The Dartmouth Mall is one of the saddest malls I’ve ever been to. There are a few empty storefronts and the remaining stores are usually filled with reject items from other malls. The employees tend to be friendly enough, and since it’s all chain stores there’s not much to say about prices. The movie theater is awful, have had several bad experiences there. The best thing about this mall is the Panera Bread.

i always laugh when people say the ‘mall,’ im like really?! where?! i cannot justify this being called a mall. there is nothing there. the one good thing i can say about it is, its clean! because no one goes there… lol i suppose being in a small town like dartmouth, one cant expect much more. there is a movie theater. the ‘food court’ is also a laugh. but hey! its better than nothing?

Kind of a boring mall in my opinion, I’ve seen more lively places in my day. They have 3 major department stores, Macy’s, JC Penney and Sears… typical of most malls. Small food court, and a sketchy AMC Movie Theater I reviewed in a different Unilocal comment. The most popular stores down the mall are probably Old Navy, Victoria Secret and American Eagle? It gets a little crowded on weekends with the typical mall-rat crowd. Nothing stands out for me here, but then again I’ve been to malls in major cities and I guess college town malls don’t compare anywhere near as close to those.

This mall is the quintessential mall. My favorite stores are Hot Topic and FYE(FYE’S prices are so horrid though, I just like the whole dvd’s and cut out of Austin powers). If you wanna have a good dinner, or just a simple snack, then don’t go to the food court. To be honest with you, the mall food court absolutely sucks. You want to go to Panera Bread(If you look down to my first review, it’s Panera Bread.) My favorite night to go is Friday night. Watch out though, you have to be prepared to go on a Friday night. The mall is packed with teens(and trust me, it puts the circus to shame) The mall… is the mall. Its the same as every other one in the world. It is fun, even if you don’t have money on you.
