My trip to David’s Bridal on Monday 03/16/2015 marked what was only my second experience shopping for wedding party attire; I have now purchased two dresses from David’s Bridal(the first for a Maid of Honor, the second for a Bride). I wanted to make sure that readers understand I am not biased in anyone’s favor, as I must admit I am surprised by the overwhelmingly negative reviews for this store. Everyone’s experiences may vary, but I would say the store and its staff deserve a second chance. I was extremely pleased with this David’s Bridal; in fact, due to the ease of finding and purchasing my dress, I am now even more excited about getting married in November! First, a pleasant employee called to confirm my appointment the day before and even established who would be coming with me(my sister/Matron of Honor and my future mother-in-law) in order for the staff to be better prepared. Immediately upon our entering the store the following afternoon, another friendly employee greeted us and invited me to begin looking around, but we did not have to wait long for further assistance. Tracie, my consultant, was attentive and worked diligently to find the styles that I requested. She respected my budget and made sure I was aware of ongoing sales and discounts; I never felt pressure to make a purchase and was pleased to find I could easily add items to a wish list. If something was out of stock or discontinued, she did her best to locate a similar garment. As I tried on the dresses, she stood by to zip me up and provide requested accessories such as shoes and veils; I was impressed at how quickly she moved around the store. She was also friendly to my shopping companions and willing to have fun with the process, joking and laughing with us. Even though I was the one with the official appointment, Tracie kindly offered to assist my sister and mother-in-law in selecting their dresses if they wished. I was able to purchase a lovely gown at a reasonable price, and I left the store with additional information and coupons for my fiancé. I look forward to returning to David’s Bridal to shop for my wedding party.

I made an appointment online. At first I was afraid because all the reviews I read about this specific location were terrible. I walked in and met with Brendalee! I told her my budget which was only in the $ 100-$ 300 range. She was awesome and chose many dresses for me. She helped me put them on and even accessorize! I couldn’t have been more happier. The staff there was so friendly and great! I would definitely go back for any party dresses or advise any bride to go there! I found the perfect dress that didn’t even need any alterations! I walked out happier than ever!

I was really pleased with my experience at David’s Bridal. I had made an appointment after bookmarking some dresses that I liked online. They had most of the dresses in the store and I was able to try them on quickly, the sales person was very helpful, easy to work with, etc. I got very frustrated when a sale that was advertised online was not clear and ended up walking away from a dress that I fell in love with. The consultant AND manager both ended up calling me and apologizing for the false advertising and worked with me extensively to figure out a price that I was comfortable with. Overall, the experience was great. I think if this place didn’t have to answer to corporate, it would run much smoother. I would recommend this place, but just be prepared to stick to your guns! Can’t wait to wear my dress :)

If I could post 0 stars I would. These people are the most unprofessional group of consultants I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I went there several times and have had a bad experience each time. The first time I went, they forgot my appointment and booked our spot so everyone got there and were not able to be worked with. The second time I went with my mother and it seemed like they got back on the ball so I bought my dress there. Then the issues really came. They ignore you after you have already purchased your wedding gown and haven’t a care in the world when working with the bridesmaids. They cancelled my appointments twice for my bridesmaids. After when I finally got there with an appointment available they did little but tell me what they could not help me with. I finally found a dress of reasonable cost and looked gorgeous on my girls so we went with that. I asked a bunch of questions including«When should they purchase or order?» and the woman responded that they could come in anytime and purchase it. All they had to do was give the consultants my name and everything would be fine. Everything was far from fine. They did not explain how far in advance the dresses should be purchased even though I had asked, and lost all of my information as well as had all of my bridesmaids names wrong. I came in 3 months before the wedding with my last bridesmaid since she had a baby recently and she tried to purchase the dress. They proceeded to tell me my dress was unavailable and there was nothing I could do about it. I explained my situation and told them that most people purchase their dresses around 3 months prior and they said it recently became a high demand and they had no idea I intended to keep these dresses. REALLY?!? The fact that two other bridesmaids had already purchased them made these people think I had no intention of these dresses being in my wedding? I fought with the associate for an hour and after they said they could do nothing to help me, they finally said well I suppose you can get them online… SO after realizing they were not going to get commission they then gave in to the idea of online ordering. These people do not care if they make a mistake, they will not discount anything to help you, they will not try to fix their mistake. They will simply tell you your screwed and to deal with it. Worst customer service I have ever seen in my life.

Do not purchase your dress from this store. I purchased my wedding gown from here because the price was right. But I was ignored and handed a catalog to pick out a dress that might look good on me. If I was going to do that why would I go to a store with a consultant? My maid of honor tried on an extra long dress and when the consultant ordered the dress in a regular. When she called the store the consultant said there was absolutely no way she tried on an extra long. She PROMISED and assured her there was absolutely no way. After begging the consultant to check the sales floor with the color and dress model sure enough it was an extra long. She apologize and said she wished she could do something but couldn’t. Even though it was their error. The worst customer service ever.
