There is typically one soup featured weekly and you have a 95% chance it will be amazing. Only soup I wasn’t crazy about was the tomato. Also on the sweet side, love the salted caramel brownie and scones and anything with almond. Really fun people working there too!!!

This is a nice little gem in downtown Davenport that serves up many gourmet bakery selections. Stopped in here for desert after having lunch a couple doors down at «Downtown Deli»(See my review for them). We ordered up six gourmet cup cakes and each one of them were very good. Plenty of seating here with some nice seats in front of their fireplace. Highly recommend stopping here and treating yourself to some luxury deserts.

Very, very cute little cupcake place. Feels slightly«hipster». The décor is very industrial-chic. Nice metal chairs, lots of neat decoration and distressed-looking furniture. There’s large, 6+ person tables as well as smaller 2 people areas. There’s a neat little nook near the fireplace with a small table and two chairs. It’s very cute. They have a unisex bathroom inside, but they multiple signs stating that it’s for paying customers only. That must have been a problem before. The shop itself offers a lot of sweets options — they also have some brunch-type options like salads and sandwiches — but I think their focus is on treats. They have some awesome treats too! Homemade Oreos, adorable cookies, cupcakes, brownies, breads, and more. Friendly employees as well. They were happy to give us a recommendation for yummy treats — and for a box later when it was too rich that we wanted to take some home for later. They use a tablet and a small business credit card scanner, so it really is a pretty small business. We ended up getting an Oreo Mudslide Cupcake and a Salted Caramel Brownie. Both came on cute little square plates with metal forks. I’m happy to see they do dishes to reduce waste. The brownie was pretty much perfect. It has the perfect moisture with a neat crunchy taste from the salt. It even had a really luscious caramel flavoring. The only thing that could have made it better was it being warm; warm brownies are the best. I was also slightly surprised by the prices; each cupcake is $ 3 was the brownies were $ 3.75. That’s a lot more expensive than most gourmet cupcake places that I’ve done. The only downside was, well, the cupcake itself. I’m actually really surprised. I’m used to cupcakes being pretty moist and easy to bite into. This one was not. The frosting was amazing and creamy, but the cupcake itself was pretty hard. I could still get a fork into the cake, but it required holding down the rest of the cupcake or I just couldn’t get enough leverage. Maybe I just found a bad one(Oreo Mudslide) or caught them when they were training a newbie. No idea, but I’d be willing to give it a try again!

We had Tiphanie do the cupcakes for our wedding. They looked amazing. They went fast– we didn’t have a lot of leftovers. Everyone raved about them. I don’t live in Davenport, so I probably won’t get to go to Oh So Sweet anymore. But I highly recommend going in if you are anywhere in the area. The cupcakes are amazing and they do other pastries too. I personally like the homemade pop-tarts they do. Cannot recommend enough.

I got 3 dozen cup cakes this morning for the office from here. They all looked like pieces of art, but tasted even better. Especially their frosting a are a delicious sin. I only now discovered this place when I was looking for cupcakes, but I will make sure to come back to try out their other baked goods, or just for a coffee. The location is very central, and the café very nice and welcoming.
